We recently spoke to Dr. Patricia Collins, Nico Koenig and Roger Healy about School Streets: a project that closes streets adjacent to schools to through traffic. The program is the product of a university-community partnership that seeks to promote children’s health and well-being and is part of a project funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research called Levelling the Playing Fields.
We also spoke with Adan Amer and Adeola Aegbeyemi, who are the authors of a youth-led plan to reduce Hamilton, Ontario’s dependence on fossil fuels. We spoke to them about their Community Fossil Free Plan released by Environment Hamilton.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
