A lot of exciting stuff that's already happened.
So if you guys keep up with our podcast, you guys know that I'm in a band and we just had
our second reunion show.
How many reunion shows can you actually have before it's just weird?
I mean, I feel like more than three weeks needs to go between two different, like you

can have like a reunion show and then maybe like 25 years later have another one, but
I think it has to be longer than three weeks.
So we did about a three week, maybe a month, three weeks?
So we had our second show.
And again, it was a success.
The place was at capacity again.

All of our friends came out.
It was awesome.
So again, thank you everybody that made it out to that show.
It was awesome seeing everybody.
Can't wait to do it again.
We're in talks with a few people to play their venues.
And if you guys have listened to us, you've heard us talk about say less productions.

They do like meeting greets and stuff like that around town.
We're actually working with them right now to put together a date where we actually play
at one of their meeting greets.
So that'll be a fun time.
So we're in talks with a couple of different venues right now trying to make that happen.

maybe hire a bartender.

So we're going to call them the I was going to give them benefit of like oh they were
in the East Coast.

We're going to call them the R and M couple and they are from Southern California and
they actually hit us up ironically enough.

They shared some pictures from Vegas which we were just there and they're like you know
hey we were just out in Vegas and I wonder if they were there the same weekend because
he didn't specify when and they were there.
But they're on free monster.
You know what I saw.

The week I think oh yeah I showed it to you yesterday.
The weekend we were there.

Valentine's Day weekend.
In Vegas.
Valentine's Day weekend.
This thing came up on my Tik Tok where you said it was the window washer thing.
I don't remember it being that windy.
It's always windy in Vegas.
Basically someone was staying at Planet Hollywood and the window washer thing that's like a
tongue twister.

And you've been talking.
Went flying in through their window.
And what's funny is we didn't stay at that hotel but that was a hotel I initially had
booked for that weekend and then I ended up changing it because I wanted to stay in downtown
Vegas.
That would have been wild brah.
Yeah.
So we dodged a bullet.

So we narrowly escaped death.
Yeah.
Wow.
And a lawsuit.
Well we could have got some money.
We could have got some money.
But so yeah it made us think about Vegas because we're actually going to dive into the first
part of our Vegas trip on this episode.
So it's kind of ironic that they messaged saying hey you know we just went to Vegas.

We were looking for things to do in Vegas.
They're a brand new couple and they it doesn't sound like they've had any experience.
No they said they haven't.
So they're looking for that first couple to break them in and they're like kind of asking
for places to go and we're going to talk about that in this episode and the next.

They said they went to some that weren't their thing.

Yeah I'm not sure.

But they were asking for like you know recommendations of places to go and I got them actually signed

So I do have a tan in salon I go to.
And I've been there a few times now as I'm preparing for upcoming vacations which we'll
talk about here in just a minute.
However today in Southern California today and yesterday it's been raining a lot.

And it doesn't do that a whole lot here.
So when it rains in Southern California shit shuts down like people just like Armageddon.
You know people just like they like go inside they turn off their lights like candles and
turn on Netflix and just like you know just yeah.
I literally said that my gym keeps me like accountable because I sign up for it each

time I go so I have to go otherwise they charge me because I told my gym buddy I said
if if I didn't have to be here because I signed up for it a week ago I would not.
I'm one of those people where I'd be like bundled up in my heater.
This weather is not conducive to physical activity.

So anyways I'm I leave the house I'm wearing like watermelon board shorts.
That you are.
And flip flops and I walk into this tan in salon and they looked at me like they literally
saw a ghost because I'm sure they've had no business today like who is you know running

around in this typhoon that we have going on.
And it was dark.
And it was dark.
You went at night.
So I walked in and they looked at me like whoa what are you doing.
I think they literally said what are you doing.
I'm here to tan.
They're like oh it's pretty crazy out there huh.
I'm like yeah it's rain it's fine.

I'm from Florida so like rain is kind of like whatever rain doesn't necessarily stop me
from what I'm doing.
But yeah it was pouring down rain it's dark and I'm wearing watermelon board shirts and
it's like what's the same dress for the job you want.
There you go.
You're ready for vacation.
I'm ready for vacation.
It might only be March but I'm ready for pool party season here we come.

But that kind of leads me up to the reason I'm trying to achieve some level of color
is uh.
Melanin.

We're um we're actually going to Florida here in the next couple of weeks.

Yeperoo.
Yeah well I think it's March 19th or 20th.

We are going to Florida which is where I come from and we're going to visit some family
and we are also going to cruise out of Miami.
And if you have listened to any of the past episodes we're going on the 311 cruise which
is a 311.
A bunch of authority somethings.
Get in crazy.

Yep bunch of Gen Xers and so yeah that's what we're doing.
However I was looking at our time frame we are flying in that Wednesday the 19th or the
20th or whatever it is.
And we have been talking to the folks from Swinger's Couch podcast.

Um my Florida is coming out.
I was like.
Come on y'all.
He used to be your Latin lover what happened.
I'm getting there.
What happened.
So we've been talking to them for a while and we always keep saying they're going to
come out to Southern California.
We're going to visit them in Florida.
But there's like I think it's like an 8000 mile trip between the two.

It's like basically here.
Russia it's the same thing.
So we had told them that we're going to be coming out and we're going to be staying in
the southwest side of Florida.
And then on the day of the cruise we are going to go to Miami.
The day before the cruise we are going to go to Miami.
And there was talks of them coming out to us and hanging out with us that Tuesday I

think it was in Miami.
But it was kind of just unrealistic.
I mean who's going to make that.
I think it was like a four hour trip from where they're at.
Yeah it was pretty bad.
It was like there's trains.
There's planes.
Florida is like California.
It's big.
So big.
That's what she said.
And then um so it was like the thought was there.
The thought was nice but it wasn't very realistic.

And I would have felt bad for them like driving that far just to have dinner with them.
We're so boring.
What's that?

Yeah we are.
So I mean speak for yourself.
But the more I was looking at our schedule and I'm like you know what that 22nd March
22nd is a Saturday.
There's no reason why we just can't leave the family for a night a day and a night.

And go to secrets which is a LS club there in Florida.
It's Kissimmee right over there by Orlando.
And we hear about it all the time and I've always wanted to go but it's just never been
realistic.
So I started looking at the schedule and sure enough there's a big eye candy takeover there.

So we're looking at schedules and we actually booked the hotels and I'm getting ready to
buy the tickets.
So we talked to them and they are going to come out and they are going to give it their
hotel and they are going to buy their tickets.
So it looks like we're going to have a official sweet side of Swinger's couch podcast.

So yeah we're all going to get together.

So anyways so we actually I hit them up earlier today.
We've never spoken before in IRL.

We had that earlier today and we're going to play that right now and that's just a little
bit of fun times and just you know getting excited for our upcoming trip.

on March 20th.
More or less that's where they live.
We're coming in the front.
We're coming all over Florida.
So yeah March 22nd we're going to be coming out to secrets there and is it Kissimmee or

Okay I've heard Lacey and Dan have that argument before on their podcast the Swing Nation.
They've talked about it and I've never been there.
I know I've heard of it because I used to live in Florida many years ago many lifetimes
ago I was Florida man back in the day.

Did you guys know that there's a whole TV show called Florida Man and it's about all
the stupid shit that people in Florida do?
Yeah I've seen a few episodes of that.
That is classic.
I don't want to say it because if people watch it they'll be like oh but there's one of eating
weird things.

Okay so you guys are coming over on the 22nd correct?

Yeah March 22nd, Saturday March 22nd.
We're actually going out to Florida that Wednesday like the 19th I think.
Visiting family and ultimately we're cruising out of Miami but we have that Saturday the
March 22nd free and we're like well you know what while we're out there let's buzz down.

It's about a three hour drive from where we're at.
Tune out there early Saturday morning, enjoy the day party and the night party and we're
staying at the quality inn that you guys recommended.
Yes that's where we're staying at.
Yeah that's what we're planning to do.
We could probably go on Friday.
Friday after late Friday because we'll get the hotel and then we'll go to the party

on Friday night and then we'll give people everybody a chance to go meet up with us on
Saturday maybe then we could chill there for a minute.
Now I've heard reviews about secrets.
I've looked on the internet, I've looked on face spaces and it seems like a pretty cool

(19:35):
thing but can you guys like give us a little insight as to what to expect because this
is probably going to be I don't want to say the last time we're going to go to secrets
because we don't find ourselves in Florida very often.
So I got family out there but I only go out there every you know once every couple of
years and this just kind of worked out perfectly.

(19:58):
So I want to make sure we have our best experience and hit all the fun rooms and find the secret
palm trees like I know you guys go there all the time so what are like can not.
The first thing you have to have is extra towels they always got problems with towels.

(20:20):
The only problem that I had a secret to is with lockers.
I always had problems with the lockers or where at one point we had some people in the
same locker with us.
They double booked our locker because back in the day it used to be like you're talking
about old school right so they would take your ID and put it in like a card collecting

(20:45):
book and that's how you would get your locker and you'd have those old fashioned little
orange keys.
Now they became all sophisticated with credit cards and all that and I don't know how it
happened but it happened that was like the worst thing but it's it's an absolute fun
time it's it's anything can happen anywhere literally anywhere.

Now they got the new pool the new pool make it even even nicer because back in the days
they only had that one pool by the entrance but now they have the other pool which is
actually pretty cool because it's like a beach pool for where it goes like very low and then
a little bit into the deep.
Oh right in front of where they got like a volleyball net on it by the stage where they

(21:28):
do all the in the stage they do all like all the parties like all the little shows.
They'll do like competitions you know yeah like a double deal big parties do the competition
or all kinds of like crazy stuff and you're like right there for it so it's a lot of fun.
If I'm not mistaken the play rooms don't open up until like one I think one in the afternoon

(21:55):
right I think that's what I read during the day and at night time I think they'll take
the pretty much open I'm not sure I can remember.
Now the club what's the other club name?
The dungeon?
Yeah.
The dungeon is usually open like around when the club opened now you could go see you could
go people they usually using the thing and you could talk actually to the dungeon masters

and at the end once the club closes like around three then they open the dungeon and I think
you got to pay extra for it I never really done it because I'm not like deep into the
BDSM but it's pretty cool to go talk to people then they got a lot of knowledge.
Do I have to bring my own ball gag for the dungeon or?

I bring my own balls.
I have a question so we've been to some resorts here where like the day party is like the
party and the night party can kind of like go either way is it always like a good day
party and a good night party or?
Usually is the same way but since it's going to be and I can't take over I can't throw

some big party in a lot of people follow them around so it's going to be a big one.
So I feel like the day parties are fun but like more reserved so it's more like the interactively
people having a good time chit chatting everything like that were in the nighttime everything
kind of gets a little bit more wild as far as like sexiness and freakiness but they're

both a whole lot of fun.
I don't even know what's the theme for those days.
It's Wonderland it's like fantasy stuff.
Like Tusser Cat taught like what do they say like Alice in Wonderland type of like stuff
like that.
Now one thing I was reading maybe you guys can clarify this is on the on the website
for the the club it says that all genitals have to be covered including boobs like you

have to wear pasties is that true or is it pretty much no holds barred inside the club.
Those rules those rules are there by 90 percent of the people don't follow them because we've
been at the club and ladies are just walking around there without freaking boobs just out

out there guys are like on a on a thong and in flip flops there've been times where we
had there was no one time where the lady was getting big in the middle of the dance floor
and squirting all over it so it's a little while.
So it's obviously free mixers provided then.

Now Carlos my Latin lover are we going to wear match and thongs.
I only wear my my my leopard prints.
I don't think I have a leopard I think I have a cheetah thong so.
That's that's kind of matchy matchy still and it kind of goes with the fantasy.

I walk around naked all the time.
What I do wear is like one of those towers with the with the velcro on for the guys of
the tower that I wear with the buckle.

That's why I be wearing because he says he's not to the club though but like to the party

and to the pool and everything.
Now I heard that they just recently opened up their new Tiki bar.

When it wasn't open.

We are huge Tiki enthusiasts.
So when I heard Tiki bar open that you know made things move as they say.

And in front of pictures it looks huge so.

Yeah now it actually is pretty big.

It wasn't open.
They were building it when last time we went over there.
So it should have been done because he was almost done.
So he was coming out.
He was coming along pretty good though.
So really looking forward to it just got a couple couple more weeks of work to get through.

Now out here in California most of our like when you these type resort type places we
have out here most of the party is more the daytime pool party.
But I know.

So once the club hours open up at like I think it's six.
Do they still party outside at the pool with the jacuzzi's like is there still like a DJ
outside or does the party like just completely transfer to inside club.

The party usually goes in and out.
There's a couple of bars outside.
I know one of them the Tiki bar stays open.
I'm pretty sure.
And there's just two more bars in the club.
Now it stays open now when they close completely like what time you said to.

At 2am is when the club shuts down.
That's when that's when you're allowed to I think all the bars themselves close down.
I think that's when you're allowed to bring your own alcohol.
That's right.
Yeah.

And I don't know.
They said that usually now they're telling people to leave at 3am.
At 3am is the new supposed like time that because it used to not like be a time for

people to leave but I guess they had so many people that would just sleep on the chairs
and the pools and stuff.
Now they made a rule like at 3 o'clock if you don't have a room there.
You have to get out.
Yes.

We just got back from Vegas.

So yeah we got back from Vegas over Valentine's Day weekend.
We went what Thursday Thursday night we flew out and then we came home Tuesday.

That's a long time in Vegas.
It was a good time.

So we had Thursday night.
Well nothing really happened Thursday night.
We got there.
We got on a plane and we made it alive.

Which I guess yeah with the plane wreckers nowadays that's a big deal.
I will say I was a little bit more nervous than normal to be on a plane after hearing
everything that's been going on so yeah we made it.

Both plane rides there and back.

The one going there though was a little rough.
Yeah because it got delayed.
The weather like speaking of rain in California like we never have this much rain and we had
rain that day.
So I thought I was being all clever and cute because it was a holiday weekend.
I was like oh flights are way cheaper on Thursday night than they are on Friday morning.

Let's just go out Thursday night and yeah mother nature was like.
All the flight delays were originated earlier in the day because of the rain and the wind.
Yeah it was crazy.
But yeah so we drank a lot at the airport.
No.

While we waited for our plane.
We were buying doubles at the airport which is so stupid.
Yeah because then you have to use the airplane bathroom.
Yeah.
So once you break that seal.
Yeah that's never a good time.
So we did make it.
We made it to our hotel.
We stayed at the Golden Dugget which is tried and true for us.

Good hotel.
We upgraded.
Look at us.
We didn't get to fuck on our couch though.
We didn't even fuck in our room at all.
No we did not.
So we went to bed that night.
We got there so late because of all the delays we got in there super late.
It was like one.

It was late.
It wasn't.
I mean by the time we got to the hotel and everything yeah it was late and then we just
tried to go find something to eat and then went to bed.
So we were boring.
But then we got up in the morning you had the worst steak of your life.
Yeah.
For breakfast.
Yeah I'm a steak and eggs guy but when it comes to steak I eat filets pretty much that's

I eat filets.
I only do filets.
But you know every now and then I'll step down off my high horse and I'll eat with the
commoners.
So I had to steak steak and eggs and I chose it medium and it was just it was like it was
a New York strip and it was like yeah I mean that's that's always this and then it was

it's like a two story high ceiling.

nicely and they did a really good job.
The lights the vibe the bar like they had awesome like lounge seats everywhere and the
DJ in the corner great vibe.
But it was just a little it was weird at first for me for like the 10 to 12 thing like even

So I first wanted to kind of explain so when you first walk in you walk into the kitchen
that's where you check in then you move over there's like a little closet kind of looking
thing with some lockers.
So if you you can get a key for a locker for five dollars you get your five dollars back

So then when you kind of go in there's like what's called it's the living room I know because
it was there was a fireplace in it.
But basically it opens up to a big living room but they've sectioned it off in like
what I think it was what one two three four five six beds in it with just kind of sheer

So they're semi private area it's a semi private area because you kind of have the curtain
so people aren't just like big orgy room like just jumping from bed to bed.
So you can still hear everybody you can still see a lot of things and things like that.
So then there was like a little couch and then that's when you walked into the room
where basically everybody congregated because none of that was open when you first get there

they kind of give you the tour if you want to see it but then it's not open for anything
until midnight.
So that's why everybody congregates into the bar area in the dance floor where the DJ was
because there was really nowhere else to go because you can't be in any of the playrooms
which is all there else was all there was.

Anyway, there was a private room with a actual door I think one or two of those.
And then in the dance floor area because it was too because the ceiling was basically
two stories high there was essentially kind of like a loft which they created two bedrooms
up there which were semi semi private because you could you could close the blinds and close

the door and make it a private room or you could leave everything open and over the dance
floor and overlook the dance floor and there was kind of a bigger window in the room.
So there was all that.
So yeah it was kind of odd like the first and then there's a bar and I mean everything
looks great like they did a really good job like the couches look sleek the tables the
lighting the curtains that went from floor to ceiling.

They did a really good job of making things look nice like really nice.
The bar was nice.
Only thing I didn't like about the bar was they put chairs in front of the bar which
makes sense for a normal bar but for me it created like a problem like when I wanted
to go to the bar I was kind of like they didn't have any service stations like yeah there

was no yeah there was no literally at one point I was like reaching over people's heads
and I was standing by like a trash can like trying to get like I'm like hey like getting
my drink from like the side entrance to the bar behind the bar so I feel like there was
a little bit of a flow issue there.
Yeah I feel like that was a flow issue for sure they could have not put so many chairs

or did high tops elsewhere instead of putting a bunch of chairs in front of the bar.
Because the thing with like if you're if you're standing at the bar and you excuse me and
then people can kind of create that space but if you're in a chair yeah that's you can't

You're in the chair yeah yeah so it's it was like kind of awkward yeah and it made getting

a drink a little painful like later in the night when there's a lot more people in there.
Right like when we first got there was no one there but when you know closer to 11 and
12 there was a lot more people in there so yeah definitely was a little bit more difficult
so we were there with beard and butt and doctor and nurse feel good and some other people and

then actually I believe that Sam and Cole called him the mayor so I'm gonna go with

A couple that we met in Vegas when we were at Dirty Vegas he lives there so him and his
fiance showed up and we didn't know they were gonna be there.

they had said they went to some show out and on the strip and then just came there afterwards.
Okay so anyway they knew a bunch of people but they so they showed up and they remembered
us from Dirty Vegas so.
