Amanda has a prolonged history of education and experience in the mental health and wellness field, social services, and family systems work. She received her undergraduate degree in Family Science from Montana State University and pursued a Master of Social Work temporarily before having to attend to her own needs. Amanda faced a great number of losses in a short span of time and needed to stop and focus on her own well-being. Amanda's healing journey was not an easy one. Losses continued and she battled with her own health and well-being. Amanda now takes life day by day with hope, grace, and resilience, tackling each new challenge life presents. She uses her education, experience, skills, and passion to help other women heal and get back in the driver's seat of their lives. She is a certified emotional wellness counselor, EFT Practitioner, and speaker that focuses on emotional awareness and mastery, grief and loss, and radical self-care. Amanda identifies as a fat, disabled woman with chronic and mental illness and strives to be an ally, advocate, and accomplice, working to create a world more accessible, just, equitable, and compassionate for ALL.
