Hi, this is Stephanie Maas.

(00:02):
Today I wanna talk to youabout candidate risk aversion.
Some real aversion to making movesand some of the reasonings behind
it have been, you know, the phrase,Hey, I don't wanna be last in,
first out when the recession comes.
I know we're not in recession now,but I wanna be smart about that.
Hey, you know, I don't, I don't knowhow all this is gonna shake out and

(00:23):
I don't wanna be R in my decisioning.
I'm gonna kind of wait and see,see what happens, et cetera.
Some of it has been.
There's just been a lot of newerplayers come into our market and folks
are saying, Hey, you know, we, we, weare gonna wait and see what they do.
Let's see how committed theyreally are to being here.
It's not a new concept.

(00:45):
We have definitely seenit throughout the years.
I wanted to share this message, especially for, you know, hiring managers.
If you've sensed frustration inyour recruiting efforts, if you feel
like, Hey, I've been on a searchand I haven't seen the quantity
of candidates that we normally do.
This is a lot of what's going on.
And the same time candidates, ifyou are having these feelings,

(01:08):
believe it or not, and this soundsweird coming from a recruiter.
I still believe that makinga career move is a tremendous
decision for you and your family.
If you are not sure, youprobably do need to wait.
