(00:12):
New Yorkers elect a communist tooffice in the world's center of
capitalism.
How dumb can people be?
Does it matter?
And who really cares?
Today on the 10th Man, TheDemocrat party continues to
(00:35):
amaze, or then again, are wesurprised?
Are we past being amazed atanything the Democrats do and at
who?
Women unfortunately, and peopleof color will vote for Zohran
Mamdani is phenomenallyunqualified to be the mayor of
(00:56):
New York City.
Anyone listening to this podcastis probably more qualified.
He's 34 years old.
Nothing wrong with that.
I used to be 34, but I didn'tthink I could be mayor then, and
he has no experience.
He went to the New York StateCapitol just five years ago as a
29-year-old.
(01:17):
He accomplished nothing while hewas there, and now he's elected
mayor based on his promises todo everything but the jobs that
a mayor's supposed to do.
A mayor should be interested inthe general welfare, the welfare
of the city, all theconstituents including law on
order, but as a socialist, hiscampaign focuses on class
(01:40):
warfare and division.
In a time when we probably needunity.
His theme is to just tax thebillionaire.
Very popular theme, butmisleading.
And yet we don't care anymore.
Nothing surprises us anymore.
That comes out of the Democratsare out of New York City.
New York was bankrupt before, and the Democrats think men or
(02:04):
women and they think fat peopleare starving.
So electing a communist to bethe mayor of the center of
capitalism, no big surprise.
When I was a kid, one day insecond grade, our teacher
started reading some books to usit was The Little House in the
Big Woods by Laura IngallsWilder.
The second book was The LittleHouse on the Prairie, which
(02:24):
became a TV series.
I actually read all the books, and one of my favorites was
Farmer Boy.
This is about the childhood ofher husband, Almanzo Wilder.
In New York State, they describethe Wilders and their life on
the farm, and they they takecare of their cattle and their
other livestock.
They feed them, they keep thebarns in good repair.
(02:47):
Mrs.
Wilder separates the cream fromthe milk makes butter and sells
that and eggs in town.
The skim milk that is left isfed to the hogs, and then
there's pork in the smokehousein the fall.
Now, if Zohran Mamdani, moved toNew York State in the 18
hundreds.
I suppose he would've attackedthe cows on the Wilder farm and
(03:09):
he would ask, why are they beingpampered with all the best feed
and with shelter and withbedding and straw, he would've
told the Wilders that they werebeing exploited by their bovine
task masters ignoring the milkthat they give.
That's exactly what Mom Donny isdoing and has done in his
(03:30):
campaign in New York, I've beento New York City and there's no
packing district anymore.
There's all people living there.
There's no garment district.
The whole city is devoted tocapitalism, to investments, to
banking.
It's the largest capitalist cityin the world.
Made wealthy by capitalists orthe underlying industries that
(03:52):
they invest in.
Everyone's job and the wealthand their very being there
depends upon the capitalists, and yet that's who Ma Donny is
attacking.
And who's buying into thisridiculous story?
Yuppies, feminists andimmigrants.
(04:13):
Don't you wonder what kind ofletters the immigrants must
write back home?
Well, I got out of Senegal, buthere in New York City, it's far
worse.
I'm being exploited here.
And they talk about yuppiesbuying a house at age 40.
Even if you get into a house atage 40, your chance at
generating the mythicalgenerational wealth that
(04:36):
magically comes from owning ahouse.
I guess you've never lived anyplace where housing prices went
down.
You're not going to accomplishmuch by buying at age 40 and New
York City might be expensive, but you see, we'll do a podcast
on this principle because theuniverse is capitalist and
(05:00):
there's no avoiding it.
And New York City may beexpensive, but you know why?
Just because it costs what itcosts.
Whatever it costs.
Is what it costs and somebody'sgonna pay it and costs go up or
down with supply and demand.
Some of his bogeymen are thelandlords.
(05:21):
New York City may be expensive, but you know what?
Costs are whatever they are, andthat's what you have to pay
along with supply and demand.
But if Mom Donny really thinkslandlords make too much money,
and if you agree with that andthat the state should be the
housing provider, oh, you wannaown the means of production,
well.
In capitalism you can do that.
(05:42):
It's easily accomplished.
All you gotta do is invest in areal estate mutual fund, a REIT
real estate investment trust.
You can get rich quick that way.
If you believe that, just golook it up.
Go Google it.
Go see what, go.
See how REITs are doing becauseit's very easy to profit from
the means of production undercapitalism.
(06:03):
But the people complaining, theydon't want to take the risk.
It's just like the story of TheLittle Red Hen nobody wanted to
help the little red hen plantthe wheat harvest, the wheat,
bake the bread, but everybodywanted to eat the bread
afterwards.
Or you can take my advice and goinvest in a real estate
investment trust because thelandlords are the little people.
(06:24):
You can be one of'em.
Landlords are some of the littlepeople that he should be
representing, but he'sexploiting, and you want
affordable housing.
There's plenty of affordablehousing.
Out in the suburbs, out in thecounties, or move to Detroit, go
to Kansas City, go to Oakland, all across the country, you can
(06:45):
find affordable housing.
if you value this kind ofstraight talk, please subscribe
to the 10th man and above all, tell a friend because as much as
I appreciate you, I need thischannel to grow as well.
So let's talk about how MomDonny got elected.
He did not get elected throughDemocrat support.
No one endorsed him.
(07:06):
You know, most of the nation'sbillionaire support and fund
Democrats, but not this time.
But another billionaire andformer mayor, a Democrat,
Michael Bloomberg, spent 1.5million against Mamdani another
one, New York Real Estate Moguland President of the United
States, Donald Trump campaignedagainst Mamdani.
(07:30):
Now, these are the people whobuilt New York City wealth and
jobs, whatever you might thinkabout them, and when Trump and
Bloomberg are on the same side, you know the opposing candidate
is a problem.
So the way he did get electedwas by making promises to the
ignorant to people who don'tthink things through.
(07:51):
And by making a pledge to thesocial Democrats, One woman said
it feels like hope.
This was Michelle McSweeney, age44, who cast her ballot, and she
brought along her two childrenand said, I don't think I felt
like this since Barack Obama.
So people feeling giddy andvoting their emotions, that's
(08:13):
how he got elected.
Now Mamdani did say Hope isalive, so Obama is a good
comparison.
Or actually, that was JesseJackson wasn't it?
But Mamdani promises to makebuses free, which will merely
provide another venue besides asubway for homeless thugs to
terrorize women like McSweeney.
(08:35):
Because the subways areeffectively free, people just
board them without paying Mom.
Donny promises to make New YorkCity more affordable.
Especially by providing freechildcare.
Well, isn't that interesting?
American women are only having1.6 children a piece that's far
(08:55):
below the replacement rate, andthey won't care for those kids
themselves and they're unwillingto pay the people who do care
for them.
They're unwilling to pay thosepeople.
Now it's a shame'cause Zohrancould be the most popular baby
boy's name in New York.
Except the people who electedhim aren't exactly having kids,
(09:18):
and yet daycare providers areamong his constituency.
He makes a list of all the smallbusiness owners that he claims
to support, but daycareproviders somehow end up among
the villains, apparently all thepeople who deserve a living
wage.
That doesn't include the daycareworkers.
(09:39):
So how can you say everybodyneeds to be paid enough to
afford the necessities and thencomplain about the cost of those
necessities, like childcare orrent?
Well, unfortunately that's justclassic hypocrisy and a lack of
awareness that the money has tocome from somewhere.
He is also campaigning based onhousing prices.
(10:02):
It's expensive to live in NewYork City.
Well, yeah.
It's also expensive to live onthe moon.
That's why people don't livethere.
Studies show that half of NewYork residents can't afford to
live there, and yet they wentthere on purpose.
The people who voted for him areimmigrants.
(10:24):
They weren't in New York City.
They went there at the sametime, a lot of African American
families who recognize theycan't afford there are solving
the problem by simply moving.
Now, ma Donny's a socialist, butwhat they forget is that under
socialism you don't get to makesuch choices, that's what
(10:46):
socialism is.
The government makes all yourchoices for you, And you are
angry that real estate pricesare rising.
try living in any of hundreds ofother places and times while
real estate prices werecollapsing and see how you like
that.
Because real estate prices onlyincrease when New Yorkers are
(11:10):
willing to pay it.
You created your high prices.
And you know, all the outsidersjust laugh because socialism
always fails.
most Americans have customarilyand traditionally known this.
We've been taught to rely on ourown toil and sweat, but There's
unfortunately a new generationof Americans and immigrants who
(11:30):
are taught to hate America andto steal from it.
And when people believe they canvote themselves money, Alexis de
Tocqueville predicted this andtold that it's right to vote
themselves money, then that'swhat they will do.
Ma Donny is just like Ilhan Omaror a OC or any of the other
(11:51):
members of the squad.
He's young, flamboyant, mediasavvy, inexperienced in
ignorant.
He'll do whatever he's told todo by the puppet masters of the
Democrat Socialist Party, andthat is how he got any support
at all.
He got some name recognition byhimself and then he signed on
(12:13):
with the Democrat socialists andthey will support anybody that
will support their agenda andlike the others.
Ilhan Omar calls Somalia, herhome mom.
Donny is a legal citizen ofUganda now as a Muslim.
He knows the Bible says a mancannot serve two masters.
(12:36):
Which country is his?
And why on earth would you, would you elect the citizen of
another country to run America'slargest city?
Momani wants to defund thepolice.
He should be in favor of law andorder and, supporting the
general welfare.
But he wants to defund thepolice, and he's proud that he
was arrested for rioting, likethe other members of the squad.
(12:57):
But the biggest scandal is theone about financial support
because Mamdani had none of thateither.
The biggest fundraiser in themayoral race was Eric Adams, but
he had to drop out for a lack offunds.
He raised more money than anyoneelse, but he had to drop out.
Now, why is that?
Well, you know, New York Citythinks the government thinks
(13:18):
corporations and PACS areautomatically evil.
So what you do is you get a fewthousand people to give you a
few bucks a piece, and then youexploit a loophole because while
Mom Donny Scoffs at money, theliberal Democrat government of
New York.
He gave mom Donny more thantwice as much money as Eric
(13:40):
Adams raised himself.
Eric Adams raised$6 million,over$6 million.
the city of New York, gave momDonny more than$12 million.
the individual who raised theleast amount of money received
the greatest amount of money.
That's a fact.
A lot of people like to pointback to the Russian revolution,
(14:03):
and.
It actually wasn't a revolution.
It was a coup because there weregoing to be elections, but
before the elections could takeplace, the Bolsheviks took over.
Same thing here in New York.
It was supposed to be anelection, but it was actually a
cash coup.
Now, how's the Democrat partyreacting to all this?
(14:23):
Well, the Democrat's problem isthey want to be the cool
parents.
They wanna be the fun parents.
You see, none of them are infavor of Mamdani, but they want
to act like they're in favor ofthe little guy, so they go along
with any program to give awaymoney, just to be the fun
parents.
And the Republicans step in andput the brakes on, and the
(14:45):
Democrats go, whew.
Thank goodness.
Thank goodness what I voted fordid not get passed.
Well this time the Republicanscouldn't stop.
Mamdani, there was a decentRepublican candidate.
And an independent to split thevote.
And the result is Mom Donny won.
So now the Democrats aredistancing themselves.
(15:09):
Would you like to know why thegovernment shut down, finally
ended The only possibleexplanation is the timing.
The Democrats don't want to beidentified with Mom Donny, if
they had let the shutdowncontinue for another week while
Mom Donny is celebrating andwhile they're celebrating other
Democrat victories that wouldcause all the Democrats to be
(15:30):
associated with this communist.
So you can thank Mom Donny forending the shutdown.
The Democrat reaction is alsoapparent when you look at Mom
Donny's attempts to achieve hisgoals because the city council,
the state government, andexisting state laws are not
gonna allow him to achieve them.
Because ultimately you have topay the bills.
(15:53):
So are there gonna be little oldladies mugged on the free buses?
I doubt there's gonna be anyfree buses.
He says he wants to tax therich.
That's ironic in the world'srichest economy, rich always
means someone else.
So Google this.
I did Google, uh, do the richpay their share of taxes in New
(16:13):
York City.
And here's what I got.
This is quote, the wealthiestNew Yorkers pay a
disproportionately large shareof the city's income taxes with
some estimates suggesting thetop 1% of people.
Pays over 40% of all city incometaxes, and the top 10% pays
(16:33):
about two thirds.
So 90% of the people in New Yorkare only paying one third of the
taxes.
Now how?
How could you possibly tax therich anymore?
people are already leaving NewYork based on this number, and
he wants to do tax more.
(16:56):
So ultimately, mom Donny is justlike the student body president
at a high school.
He campaigns and makes promises, but his promises are empty, and
his election was basically apopularity contest.
Now, moving forward, I'm notsure what would constitute a win
for mom.
Donny.
It would be him fighting to gethis policies and then failing to
(17:17):
get them.
Then he can blame someone else.
That's what he will do.
Or he does get them and he failsthat way because socialism
always fails.
the universe is capitalist.
And socialism can only exist ina closed system.
No one ever moves into asocialist country and takes over
to obtain its wealth or itsmeans of production because they
(17:41):
don't have one.
and no one ever flees acapitalist country to go to a
socialist one.
Now New York City is going to bea unique experiment because
anyone is free to becomesocialist, and this seems to be
what they're voting for.
You're just not free to do thereverse, and you never see three
deadbeats getting together andsaying, let's combine forces and
(18:03):
be socialists.
Let's share everything.
You never see that.
What you see is three deadbeatsgetting together and saying,
let's go take over some otherpeople's stuff, and then we'll
call that betterment for all orsomething else.
So here we have all theseworkers, the backbone, the
immigrants, The bodega workers, the taxi drivers, et cetera,
they're all somehow beingexploited.
(18:25):
And so by taking over the richpeople's money, except the rich
people will leave.
However, even after the richpeople leave, I'm sure that
under socialism, the people leftbehind will thrive because
socialism is so much better.
That's how it works, right?
Well, whether he achieves hisgoals or not, the outcome will
(18:47):
be bad for New York.
the population growth definitelyis already in jeopardy just
because of the chilling effect.
And you need growth, notstagnation.
But all these developments showthat America is in danger and we
need to change election law sothat people who are not invested
in America do not automaticallyget the right to vote just
(19:09):
because of some legaltechnicality.
We have to have laws that workfor America, you know, nowhere
in.
The Muslim world, if I can callit that, or the communist world
or in the Asian world, will youever find a white American
female Christian capitalistbeing elected to any public
(19:30):
office, let alone to the mayorof the largest city in the
country.
Now everybody's welcome inAmerica.
We welcome them, but they'rewelcome to immigrate, become
citizens and to assimilate.
You're not invited here to takeover and especially not to take
over having un-Americanattitudes.
(19:51):
Ultimately, mom Donny is gonnabe unable to deliver on his
promises and he'll just blamesomeone else.
'cause that's what they do.
Here we have the left electing aMuslim.
While complaining aboutIslamophobia and Christian
nationalism, and yetChristianity invented freedom of
religion, while Islam stillembodies complete religious
(20:15):
intolerance, it's a problem whenwe have people who vote their
feelings, their nationality andtheir immigration status.
if they do that, they should notbe voting.
You know, nothing saysdemocracy, like having a hundred
thousand Muslims coming intoAmerica voting for the first
time and marking their ballotsjust exactly how they were told
(20:37):
to do at the mosque.
I wanna go back to my farmanalogy and imagine the Wilder
farm After Zohran Mamdani takesover all the calves, which
should have been raised to bethe milk cows of tomorrow.
Oh, they were sold for meatbecause they ate too much.
There's no more manure to enrichthe field, so the cows are
(20:58):
giving less milk and Mamdanithen punishes them by cutting
their feed.
There's no butter and no eggs.
So now Mamdani's just scanningthe farm next door with its
green pastures and trying tofigure out how he can take it
over, Maybe he'll succeed andtake over the whole county.
(21:18):
But one day he'll run out oflands to conquer.
And when that happens, well thatis how Rome fell, and that is
how the Soviet Union broke up.
Now, if Mom Donny makes New YorkCity thrive, then all the other
farms would want to join him.
(21:40):
But we're not betting on that'shappening.
