After having narrowly escaped defeat at the jaws of terrifying time monsters, our heroes are rescued by a new threat -- Victor and his cronies, coming to settle an old score. It's not long, however, before the pair of rivals realize that they are out of their depth, and an uneasy alliance is agreed upon in the name of recovering the watch. Their search brings them to a strange new world where alliances will be tested, nothing is what it seems, and Dimitri, the mad alchemist, reigns supreme.
