In this deeply personal episode of The Traveling Hypnotist Podcast, Nicole opens up about a pivotal moment from 10 years ago—when a dream she’d poured her heart into was quietly falling apart. Teaching spiritual fitness classes in NYC, she was doing all the “right” things... and still sitting in empty rooms, exhausted, broke, and on the verge of giving up.

But what felt like failure turned out to be a redirection.

Nicole revisits a forgotten journal entry from July 5, 2015—and uncovers a soul-aligned vision that would ultimately lead her to becoming the Resident Healer at the Four Seasons, traveling the world, and building her signature method, High-Frequency Success™.

This episode is for anyone feeling stuck, disappointed, or unsure if their vision is ever going to take off. If you're holding onto a dream but the "how" feels impossible—this message is your reminder to keep going.

✨ Learn the real work it takes to quantum leap.
✨ Discover how your low point might be the turning point.

Unknown (00:00):
Are you feeling disappointment? Maybe you've
been holding on to a vision, apath forward, a career change,
and yet that path feels soimpossible right now. If that's
you, then this episode will helpyou know that what feels

(00:21):
impossible right now isabsolutely possible. Hello,
friend. It's Nicole Hernandezhere, top clinical hypnotist and
success coach, and I had toshare this with you today, so
I've made a very special episodeon the fly. It's really
interesting because thismorning, I opened an email from

(00:42):
one of the journal apps thatI've been using for a very, very
long time, and I get theselittle reflections, which are
fun sometimes, to see how muchI've actually grown over the
years. And this one was fromJuly 5, 2015, and I'll actually
include a screenshot of thisjournal entry in the show notes

(01:03):
so that you can review it andsee it. This is not made up. I
had this pivotal moment thismorning, and if I'm honest, I'm
still a little emotional aboutit because it felt so big. Now,

(01:23):
at the time that I wrote thisjournal entry, I was dreaming
about starting my own business.
I was dreaming about being inthe wellness space, and I feared
that that would never happen forme. And yet today, in 2025 I am
standing exactly where I wantedto be, holy moly. So I want to

(01:48):
share this with you. 10 yearsago, I was pouring my heart,
pouring my soul, into starting abusiness as a spiritual fitness
instructor, teaching booty yogaclasses. That's B, U, T, I, not

(02:10):
B, O, O, t, y, and it's acombination of yoga and hit so
high intensity and dance, and Iloved it. And I rented space in
one of the dance studios inMidtown, New York, and I was
carefully curating thisbeautiful experience. I had

(02:31):
these red lights thatrepresented the Root Chakra, and
I developed new playlists forevery single class, which took a
lot of time to do, and I wantedto create a space for women to
come in where they could just bethemselves and be with their
bodies and really tune into whatwas beautiful about them. I

(02:53):
wanted it to be a place wherethey could really resource
themselves, and I would practicefor hours. I was really trying
to just develop myself, mystrength, my stamina, and since
I had a background in marketing,I was emailing my email list. I
was constantly posting on socialmedia. I had professional photos

(03:16):
taken. I was listing my class onclass pass. I was doing all the
things I could possibly do togrow this business, and I was
really desiring this business toblossom. But the truth is, is
that sometimes the resultsweren't so great. I would pay

(03:36):
for studio time, and sometimes Iwould have one person show up to
class, which wasn't really evenenough to cover the cost of the
studio. And so I was actuallylosing money sometimes on this
where I would have to offersomeone a private session, and I
would just be professional andjust move through it with them,

(03:58):
give them everything that Icould within that private class.
And then there were other timeswhere I had anywhere from 12
people to 15 and maybe even 20on a really good day, but it was
never really consistent, and Ifelt so defeated, and I thought
there's no way I can actuallymake this a sustainable

(04:18):
business. It's not a sustainableoccupation, if it's not
consistent. And then on top ofthat, I was putting so much
effort into practicing andgetting these moves down and
trying to curate this perfectbody. I thought if I just had
six pack abs, if I just wassuper lean, then people would
see my result and want to cometo class, but I was actually

(04:43):
starting to encounter a lot ofback issues, and do have
scoliosis, and I was overworkingmy body, and I actually remember
teaching class once, and my backjust went out on me. And. And it
was so painful. And luckily, there was someone else in the
class who had also beencertified in buddhi yoga, and

(05:05):
she was able to take over. Irealized I was overdoing it, and
I realized that this wasn't asustainable business for me,
after all. And so it was aroundthis time that July 4, weekend
of 2015 and I had thisrealization that this just
wasn't going to work out. I wasso disappointed I was lying in

(05:27):
my fiance's bed. He wasn't myfiance at the time, and I was
just crying. Because, if you'vebeen in this place, if you know
what it's like to put your heartinto something and just know
that it's not working out, justknow that things aren't coming

(05:51):
together for a multitude ofreasons. And that's hard. It's
really hard. And you know, whether that is your own
business, or you're trying tofind your romantic partner,
whatever it is, you might knowwhat it's like to put all that

(06:14):
effort into something and findyourself just feeling this deep
rock bottom disappointment. Andon this particular weekend, I
had done a lot of journaling, just trying to move through
these emotions, and I wassitting in all of this self
reflection. And so when I wrotethis journal entry, I said, so,

(06:38):
it's Sunday now, and I feelgood. I feel rested. I feel
ready to let go, ready to putdown my head and get back to
work tomorrow. But what I amclear on is the following, I
want to build a wellnessbusiness that allows me to teach
in exotic places. Knowing this,I need to build a practice that

(07:01):
is exclusive to me. I've toyedwith the idea of creating pop up
wellness experiences for hotelsand oh man, when I read this
little portion this intentionthis morning, it hit me so hard,
because I got to look at thiswound. I got to look at this

(07:25):
moment of doubt. I got to lookat this time that felt like such
a big failure from the place ofmy future self, who is now
living out this desire, who is aresident healer for the four
seasons in New York Downtown, who has been traveling to
different locations to do pop upexperiences, who is in a couple

(07:48):
of weeks, going to Sedona for apress trip and to the lodge at
Woodlock for a pop up. And I dohave an exclusive practice. I'm
not teaching somebody else'sphilosophy. This is a method
that is all mine. It feels likea tiny miracle to be really

(08:09):
honest with you, and what Ineeded to hear back then, and
what I want you to hear now isthis, detours are not the end.
What feels like a failure is notthe end for you. Sometimes these

(08:32):
moments when things don't workout are just redirections for
what's meant to be our highestgood. And I know that this might
be you, your high achiever, andyou are craving depth and
spiritual fulfillment in yourcareer. And we can get really

(08:53):
caught in the pain of the doubtof the disappointment, because
we're so used to things workingout for us. We're so used to
being able to put in the effortand having the result. So when
things don't work out as quicklyor in the way that we had

(09:13):
imagined them, and we get stuckin creating a lot of stories. We
get stuck in grieving theseendings, grieving what didn't
work out, not realizing thatthis moment may just be the
opening to a new chapter. Thismoment, which feels like a

(09:36):
complete knockdown, is anopportunity to step into
something better, becausesuccess isn't just about grit.
It's about honoring yourintuition. Sometimes that
demands us to let go of the how.

(09:56):
To let go of what it's supposedto look like. LIKE
to let us sit in the space of Idesire this. I'm not sure of
exactly how I get there, but I'mgoing to keep moving. I'm not
going to give up. This meansthat this wasn't the way. It's
like a labyrinth, and you'vebeen going down a path for a

(10:17):
long time, and it feels likeyou're going to get somewhere,
and then you hit the dead end,and you're like, oh shit, I
gotta go back. I gotta go backto square one. So you go all the
way back. And now there's a newpath within the labyrinth that
you're gonna move down. Andwe're not quite sure we're gonna
get there this time, right? Andwe feel a little bit more
defeated. But what if this isthe path that leads you to where

(10:43):
you needed to go, to the desire.
So if you start to really thinkof your life that way, as this
labyrinth, that yes, you mighthave turned down the wrong way,
we might have to back up, take astep back, recalibrate, go a
different direction. And thatdoesn't mean this just once or
twice. This could happenmultiple times. The point is we
don't give up. We hold on to theintention, but not the how, not

(11:07):
the it needs to be this way.
Okay, so I want you to releasewhat has been draining you, and
to hold fiercely, and I meanfiercely, to your vision, even
when the details seemimpossible. And here's the thing

(11:31):
that I want you to know. Here'sthe biggest secret in all of
this, unlike somebody else'ssuccess story, where it looks so
seamless and effortless and likethey did one thing and got to
where they want to. Thistransition for me didn't happen
overnight. It demanded thatletting go of how. It demanded

(11:56):
me going through anotherevolution with my own health. It
demanded me to really confrontmy anxiety and stress. It
demanded intense inner work, mindset shifts, hypnosis, one on
one, coaching, shutting downlimiting beliefs, rewiring old

(12:21):
stories. It demanded me to be inthe work you've been feeling
that stuck, depleted, on theverge of letting go what you
really desire. I want you toknow that, what if this moment,
right now isn't your breakdown.
This doesn't mean you have tosettle. This just means that

(12:45):
you're being redirected towardsyour breakthrough, and this is
why I am actually opening thewait list for high frequency
success. It's an intensive 12week VIP coaching program,
because I want you to spend sometime with me, someone who has

(13:09):
gone through this, and thiswasn't my first failure. I want
you to know you can move beyondthe disappointment, beyond the
doubt, beyond the things notworking out. I want you to move
through the quantum leap withme. My goal is to take you
through what took me five yearsand shrink that down for you. We

(13:34):
go in. We deep dive into yourhuman design, so that you can
bring your unique gifts andshadows to light, so that you
can make different choices, sothat you can see the patterns
that need to be broken. Then wedo 12 one on one sessions,
coaching, deep subconsciousreprogramming, so that you can

(14:00):
finally dissolve the selfsabotage, the old stories, the
limiting beliefs, so we canupgrade your self concept, who
you know yourself to be and whatis possible for you. I also give
you coach in your pocket so youcan message me on Voxer or
WhatsApp Monday through Friday,so that you are never alone in

(14:23):
those messy make it or break itmoments or when it's time to
celebrate because you actuallyhad a breakthrough in the way
that you think, or you had abreakthrough in your progress,
It can be celebrated with thisenthusiasm that it needs to be
celebrated with. This isstrategy, it is mindset. It is

(14:46):
energetic upgrades so that yourouter results start to match the
power of your inner vision. Thisis the program for. Ambitious,
spiritually curious women, yesand men that are ready to move
from burnout and over, effortingeverything to clarity, abundance

(15:11):
and stepping into your highfrequency success, because I
want you to be able to have thisexperience of 10 years from now,
and likely sooner, of opening ajournal entry, reading an email

(15:32):
from yourself and finding thatyou were actually living the
Life you once dreamed about. Sodon't let today's struggle
convince you to settle. Don'tgive up before the universe God
can deliver what you're meantfor, because you are a divine
creation. Do not forget that. Iwant you to remember this. Your

(15:56):
dreams are not random. They're apreview of what's possible when
you refuse to give up. I can'twait to hold space for you. I
can't wait for you to step intoyour breakthrough. And I'm going
to leave you the link below foryou to just get on the wait list
and have a free consultationwith me about what this could
look like for you. And untilnext time, remember that when
