22-year-old Marilyn Kay Mitchell was in the prime of her life in May of 1990. She was happily engaged, a recent graduate of the Univerisity of Alabama, and had just moved into a beautiful townhome in Dothan, AL. She was months away from her wedding and only days from starting her career as a registered nurse when she was brutally raped and murdered at her residence.
