Good People,
Throwback Episode!
Back in 2020 I had the pleasure of talking with Gary Coichy, the Head of Partnerships and CEO of Pod Digital Media, which is the first full-service agency for multicultural podcasts. He’s worked with companies like HBO, BET, Viacom, and more.
Throughout our conversation, Gary connects stories throughout his life that led him to where he is today. For his truth prescription, he talks specifically about his realization that the corporate world is cutthroat. Once he accepted that truth, then he figured out how to navigate the corporate world a little better—without getting played.
We also talked through some tips on how to get into business, how to transition from a 9-5 to working for yourself, and the importance of being both a consumer and investor. We also talked about the buying power of the African American and Latino demographics, how to build a brand, and how he built his alter ego outside of his corporate job.
Gary’s story is impressive and inspirational. It’s a packed episode. So sit back, relax, and take a listen. I’ll see you soon.

Two Guys, Five Rings: Matt, Bowen & The Olympics
Two Guys (Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers). Five Rings (you know, from the Olympics logo). One essential podcast for the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics. Bowen Yang (SNL, Wicked) and Matt Rogers (Palm Royale, No Good Deed) of Las Culturistas are back for a second season of Two Guys, Five Rings, a collaboration with NBC Sports and iHeartRadio. In this 15-episode event, Bowen and Matt discuss the top storylines, obsess over Italian culture, and find out what really goes on in the Olympic Village.
