This is episode 77 of The Truth Tank.
This is the 6th Weekly Tank: I will be reviewing the latest instalment of the Marvel franchise Thunderbolts*, directed by Jake Schreier and staring Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Sebastian Stan & Wyatt Russell.
Set in a Post Avengers world, where a team of anti-reject anti-heroes are manipulated into a covert cover up mission by CIA Director Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. The team is made up of characters from several past Marvel films that include Yelena Belova, Red Guardian, Bucky Barnes, US Agent Ava Starr and the Mysterious Bob.
Thunderbolts* takes on a heavier psychological tone than other Marvel films exploring Trauma, Redemption and Mental Health, as well as Trust, Teamwork and Purpose. After the review, we will look at that deep hypothetical question/debate making its way around the internet and social media, A Silverback Gorilla vs 100 Men, Who would win? The Tank will weigh in with a few unique equations and scenarios.
