The missing link in your skincare routine might be hiding in your gut. This eye-opening conversation reveals how your digestive health directly impacts your skin's appearance and overall radiance.

In this episode, Renee and Janine dive deep into the gut-skin connection, sharing personal transformations and professional insights. "Your skin is your second mouth," Renee explains, highlighting how this often-overlooked organ absorbs everything we put on it—including harmful chemicals found in most conventional beauty products.

The discussion tackles a critical industry secret: most skincare products contain water as a primary ingredient, requiring chemical preservatives that disrupt hormones and overburden your liver. These toxins create a cascade of internal problems that eventually manifest as skin issues no expensive cream can fix. The solution? Waterless beauty products that deliver concentrated, therapeutic ingredients without the harmful additives.

Both women share their transformative experiences with clean skincare. Their excitement is palpable as they describe products that don't just sit on the skin but truly absorb and heal from within.

Beyond skincare, this episode offers practical steps for cleaner living—from filtered water and air purifiers to gentle digestive support. The conversation emphasizes that small, consistent changes yield significant health improvements over time. Whether you're dealing with acne, melasma, or premature aging, this episode connects the dots between your internal health and external appearance.

Ready to transform your skin from the inside out? Discover how small changes to your gut health routine and skincare products can create visible, lasting results that no conventional beauty treatment can match.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
Hey Janine, hi Renee, how are you?
I am great, it's so good to seeyou.
It's been a while no kidding,right, it's been a minute.
It's been a minute, it's beenan hour, it's been months, but I
am back and I'm so excited totalk to you guys today.
I'm sorry for being missing inaction, but I've got a lot to

(00:34):
share today and I thinkeverybody's going to be super
interested in what the topictoday is going to be the gut
skin connection.
So we're going to be talkingtoday, we're going to be kind of
diving in into the gut, asalways, but we're going to talk
about how it translates into theskin and vice versa.
But before we do that, beforewe dive in, I just want to

(00:55):
welcome everybody back as welltoo.
I hope everybody's been stayingcool.
It's been a really weirdweather summer.
I'm in Illinois, as you guysknow, and we've just had a sauna
here for weeks.
The weather's so weird and Ican't even imagine how you're
not, how you're still alive inFlorida there.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
You know I'm a glutton.
I love the heat, you know.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
I do.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
I love it.
I got to tell you I I likesweating, I like humidity.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Yeah, I don't mind it .
You know, the thing for me islike I'm going through menopause
, so the hot flashes are real,so I'm just like in one constant
hot flash.
It's okay.
I can't tell if it's like awhole day hot flash or if it's
just the weather.
Yeah, so it's interesting.
But sweating is good for you.
It's a form of detox.
So, yes, we got to appreciatethat for what it is for sure.

(01:50):
But, yeah, how have you beenCatch me up on anything that's
new with you before we jump intothe very exciting topic of
digestion and skin and beauty?

Speaker 2 (01:55):
So I just for the last eight months actually, I
found out last week I've been, Iapplied for a new studio space
downtown and I just a word thatI got the space.
So now I'm gonna have this bigstudio and I'm super excited
about it.
I haven't publicly saidanything yet on my page, so if
people watch this, they'll beable to you know, see that.

(02:17):
But oh, that is so cool.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
So just an easier way for you to do your work, with
more added features in terms ofwhat MacGyver can do for your
videos and all that right.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Absolutely, and more opportunity for my clients.
I'm going to create twodifferent types of spaces in
there, so it'll allow clientsopportunity to choose, maybe
what set they'd like if theycome in to record, so I'm really
excited about that.
That'll take place within thenext two months, so that's what
I've been up to, and justrecording clients.
It's been great.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Oh, that is great.
I I don't know how we droppedoff, but it doesn't matter
because I'm back.
I can't wait to share someinsights with everybody.
And you know, I was jokingaround with my husband the other
day because you know, everything's AI right.
I was joking around with myhusband the other day because
you know everything's AI rightand I said, honey, you think
I'll ever be replaced by AI?
There's not a chance in hell.

(03:13):
People still want thatcommunication, they still want
your knowledge, they still needyour support and there's so much
information that you can Google.
I still Google stuff just forfun.
You know kind of I sometimeshave to Google medication
interactions or things like that, or just stuff that is.
Google can be very helpful.
But you know, ai is that's awhole, nother animal.

(03:35):
And I'm, you know, while we'reall still human so far until
Elon makes us robots Right, until Elon makes there you go.
I always feel like the Jetsons.
You know, like we'll all berosy at some point.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
It's amazing.
I wonder if I could forwardfast forward in time in the next
50 years and see what AI hasreplaced or is able to do.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
I mean, I'd be happy if it replaced cleaning and
cooking.
I'd be all about that.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Laundry.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
Laundry, I don't mind , but the cooking part, you know
, open up the refrigerator andyou've got like a nice meal and
you're like, oh, you sit downand then wiggle your nose like
bewitched and then the dishesare done.
So I'm going back, I know theJetsons Mix Samantha with the
George Jetson and you've gotlike the perfect scenario anyway

(04:32):
, okay, enough of this nonsense,so all right.
Well, janine, it's so great tosee you.
I'm just going to dive in.
I am so excited to share withyou guys today some insights
into your health.
Everybody's got I would say,not everybody.
Most people have some kind ofhealth question mark, right,
whether it's your sleep ormenopausal weight gain, or maybe

(04:54):
food doesn't just feel rightwhen you eat it and you're not
sure what to eat, or you havehigh blood pressure, or you have
low energy.
You have skin issues, which isgoing to be the highlight today.
So I'm really excited to bringyou guys spoiler alert an
amazing skincare company that isthe super cleanest, most

(05:14):
therapeutic skincare company outthere, and we're going to get
there shortly.
But everybody has somethingthat they would like to work on
in terms of their health.
I would say, for the most part,if you feel good, you feel
great.
I'm psyched for you, that'sgreat.
This is still a topic for youanyway, because what are you
putting on your skin, right?

(05:35):
That's going to end up kind of,you know, muting your health
and causing some hormonaldysregulation and all that type
of thing.
So let's go back to the basicswith your health.
Where does good health start?
Good health starts with havinga good, positive outlook.
It's hard to have a good, positive outlook when there's so

(05:56):
much stress in the world.
There's news, there's politics,there's kids, there's spouses,
there's job stress, there'sfinancial stress.
Nobody is unscathed, nobody.
So we have these stresses.
And what happens when we havethese stresses?
Your digestive system starts toshut down and it can happen

(06:18):
very slowly and over time, thatslow progression mutes enough of
your digestion, your absorption, to start to cause symptoms.
This is where I come in terms ofbeing able to help people
connect the dots for theirhealth.
So when we look at a short-termstress or a long-term stress,

(06:39):
and remember the stresses areemotional, nutritional or
chemical, right, or nutritionaland chemical are together
Emotional, nutritional, chemicalor mechanical.
Mechanical is tight shoulders, crunching down the neck,
pressing in the rib cage and notallowing for good bile flow

(06:59):
from your gallbladder becausethe diaphragm is squashing you
right.
So those are mechanicalstresses, nutritional stresses.
Maybe you're eating somethingthat's inflammatory, whether
it's gluten or dairy or picklesor whatever it is that causes
you an issue that you may notknow is causing you an issue.
And then the emotional part.
Most of the time and there's alot of research out there now

(07:21):
and it's just coming intofruition.
I'm so excited about it theemotional part, the brain part.
How does our brain stay healthyand strong?
The very first order ofbusiness is through our gut and
through eating and living aclean environment to the best of
our ability.
Our brain relies on our gut forall the neurotransmitters, the

(07:44):
uptake of absorption, forvitamins and minerals.
It's just, it's everything yourmicrobiome.
There are studies now that areout that are talking about
certain brain diseases that arecompletely a cause of a low
functioning microbiome.
So the microbiome is your tummy, it's your garden, it's what's

(08:06):
happening in your garden, and wealways need a lot of good
fertilizer in the garden andunfortunately we have more shit
than fertilizer.
Right?
There's more toxicity, there'sbacterias, there's biofilms,
there's these overgrowth,there's candida, there's all
these things that, like awetsuit, impair our ability to

(08:26):
absorb our good nutrients.
So we start bolstering ourmicrobiome, improving digestion.
That's where we can start tosee improvements in our health.
So what does it mean to improveour microbiome?
Well, it means that it's notjust taking probiotics, it's
actually eating foods that arebeneficial for our body.
And remember, everybody isdifferent.
There is no one size fits all.

(08:46):
I just received some testresults back from a young girl
in her mid-20s lovely girl.
Her and her mom are workingwith me.
She went vegan for ethicalreasons and health reasons about
in 2018.
She felt better initially butthen she kind of developed some
more tummy issues over the years, got testing back.
She's so deficient all over theplace, but then she kind of
developed some more tummy issuesover the years, got testing
back.
She's so deficient all over theplace, even though she eats

(09:10):
plant based vegetables you knowsome soy but she has some
overgrowth and her gut is notwhere she wants to be, which is
why she hired me in the firstplace.
But you would think with a goodhigh vegetable diet she'd have
great calcium absorption, goodvitamin C, good minerals.
She was deficient on the wholetest and I had to have that

(09:33):
loving, tough conversation withher which I actually had with
her mom.
First I said what do you thinkabout telling her?
Do you think she might be opento having a little bit of goat
cheese and maybe some eggs?
And she's, oh, be open.
So we had the conversationyesterday and I think she was
really grateful for it becauseshe doesn't feel good.
So again back to how do we helpour gut?
Well, again, no one size fitsall is different for everybody

(09:55):
and while I love vegetables forsome people, vegetables bother
them.
It depends on their level andtheir load of bacteria.
So the gut is the part of thebody that feeds from the
internal to external.
And here's my segue into theexternal, into the internal.

(10:15):
I, for about the past eight tonine months, have been working
with a wonderful skincarecompany and I will say my whole
career I've been looking for aclean skincare that checks the
box on organic and therapeuticor talking shampoos and soaps,
because all that stuff has waterin it, right, and water is an

(10:37):
unstable molecule and it needsstabilizers and preservatives to
keep that water from growingmold in the products.
So when you look at somethinglike a, pureology is a I hope
they're not listening.
You know it's a clean-ishshampoo and they top themselves
with a clean.
There's a lot of crap in thereshampoo and conditioner and one

(10:59):
of the first three ingredientsis water and if you're using
water in any kind of cosmetic, you run that risk of having the
preservatives and thestabilizers in there People
don't realize that at all?
actually, no, you don't.
I mean I'm not going to say Ididn't either, because I'm an
advanced label reader and I wantyou guys to be that too.
You guys should be questioningeverything, looking at your

(11:21):
labels and making sure your skinis your second mouth, guys.
It's your second mouth.
This is your eating mouth.
This is your other mouth ofdetoxification and absorption.
Your skin is designed to helpyou eliminate excess waste, and
so what you put on it has to beclean, right?

(11:42):
So when we're talking about amillion other products and it's
funny when I ask my clients whatthey're using, I do that on my
questionnaire.
Now, what are you using forsoap in the shower?
Oh, dove.
Dove is like almost the numberone answer, and you think it's
like clean, because it's onequarter cleansing cream.
I'm like dating myself withcommercial hair showing my age,

(12:03):
but marketing is everythingright.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
You've been lying to us for decades about what is
healthy and what to use.
It's really sickening what'sgoing on.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
You know what it's.
I mean, they put cheapingredients in because it's
cheaper.
That's one of the one of thethings that they can do to make
more product and have moreprofit.
It's all about the almightydollar, and you know this as
well as I do.
I don't know when it was, butthey lost the priority of above
all.
Do no harm health first, it'smoney first.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Correct Big food and big farmer in bed with each
other.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
It's awful.
So for my 20, almost 22 yearcareer, I used to dream about a
skincare company that hadorganic ingredients that were
therapeutic.
I'm 59 years old, guys.
I'm going to be 60 in October.
It pains me to say it.
Definitely a liar.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
You don't look a day over 35.
Oh, I love you, baby.
I'm sick from you.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
What.
So I started on two of theseinternal products from my
colleague and functionalmedicine buddy, dr Jordan
Leisure.
She's got to look at this.
I'm like, oh, look at, I trusther, I love her, you know, and I
.
The two internal products arethe IO one and the I 70.
And they're gentle cleansingfor liver, lymph and kidney.
They're nice.
High auric powerfulantioxidants which support

(13:23):
bioflow, help withdetoxification.
Gentle cleansing for theCpowerful antioxidants which
support bioflow, help withdetoxification.
Gentle cleansing for the organs.
Not big pushes withdetoxification programs which
are appropriate at the righttime after digestion is fixed.
You can't start detoxingsomebody if they're still eating
crap.
So I started on the twointernal products and I really
liked the way I felt.
I was like they're all,everything's natural.

(13:44):
There's turmeric in there,elderberry, you know, they're
olive tree products, you know, very clean.
The high OREC vitamin C istheir camu camu berry.
Everything's organic, superclean.
And I really fell in love withthe internal stuff.
So I said I'm going to try theface wash and see right away.
I loved, I got the face washand I got the serum and I
started on it and I literally, you know I had some crow's feet

(14:07):
kind of go and I was like, oh,you know, we'll just see.
So I got the eye cream too andI had it sitting in my bathroom
for almost three weeks and Igave some to my dog walking
friend.
I gave her a little packet totry and we both tried it on the
same day.
I didn't realize she was goingto try it the day I gave it to
her, but I'm like, oh, I'll justput it on.
And I literally woke up thenext day and I was looking and I

(14:28):
was like, oh, the crow's feetare crowing back in the right
direction.
They started to really besmaller and I was like and I,
not only did I feel good puttingon a clean product, right, but
I felt good knowing was actuallydoing something again For years
.
The organic stuff is fine, itdoesn't.
It's not therapeutic.

(14:48):
And the therapeutic stuff hasall the crap in it that disrupt
the hormones.
Endocrine disruptors mess updigestion.
Via messing up the hormones, toxify the system because some
of them are forever chemicals.
And the liver is alreadyoverstuffed, right, the liver is
like the vacuum cleaner bagthat never gets changed.
It's an organ of detoxificationand digestion.

(15:11):
People don't realize that allyour hormones are made in your
liver, right.
So the liver's already like howare you going to have room to
make good hormones, how are yougoing to have room to detoxify
and how are you going to haveroom to digest and help the
liver get rid of this waste fromeither a great diet, if you're
eating it, or a really crappydiet, because that's where

(15:33):
you're at.
It doesn't really matter, andit's not, you know, for me to
judge.
I'm here to give you guys thehard, cold truth and the
information about how you canhelp yourself be healthy and
move into a place of cleanerliving.
People want that.
People want to.
They don't want toxins in theirhouse.
They don't want plugins.
They don't want.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
I'm not going to go through that you and I you and I
was good on.
The people that are uneducatedunfortunately want whatever
smells good and not what theydon't know is bad for them.
If you think of yankee candleand bath and body, you know we
go down a rabbit hole on that.
We did that already like rightbut it's all chemicals.

Speaker 1 (16:10):
It's gonna kill you.
Chemicals, it's gonna kill you.
I literally just put a post onmy community facebook page for
my subdivision, just very lovingpost, saying hey, you know, not
only are you guys breathingthis, but your pets are
breathing in too.
You know, I just I don't thinkpeople know so I'm, we're just
here to educate and shareinformation.
But cleaning up yourenvironment helps you live

(16:31):
longer.
Cleaning up what you're usingon your skin your second mouth,
largest organ of absorption, detoxification helps you live
longer.
Cleaning up your diet, digesting an anti-inflammatory
diet, so your immune systemisn't sparked to hit this
response of some kind of issueof inflammation, whether it's a

(16:51):
digestive issue, an autoimmuneissue, you know dysregulation in
any one of the pressures ofyour system issue.
Cleaning it all up and slowlybut surely, is a nice insurance
policy for you to stay healthyand strong as you move, you know
, down the road of your life.
So, with that being said, Icalled Janine about a month and

(17:15):
a half ago to let her know aboutthe amazing Alveda company.
Been that long?
Yeah, probably a month and ahalf roughly Wow.
And she was right away in.
She was like I gotta learn moreabout this.
I mean, I love skincare but Idon't even know what to use.
So we got some products tostart her on.
And right when she got theproducts and I'll let her take

(17:37):
it from here she's like I'mgoing to kill you.
I am just obsessed with theseproducts.
As she said, I'm like I think Icursed at you.
You did I'm going to fuckingkill you.
You said I'm like good.
So if you want to jump in andshare a little bit about your
experience with the products oranything you want to share, I'm
sure the listeners would love tohear, because people are

(17:59):
looking for the good, cleanstuff and it's a good price
point too.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
You know I hate promoting products because I
don't want to be that person.
That's everything that sinceI've met you.
Everything that you'verecommended, I trust because it
works.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
Oh, thank you.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
Cream, all that stuff .
And if you hear my dogs barking, they're very cute, but they're
Rambo.
Oh it's okay, hi Chalupas.
Yeah, yeah, the baby Chalupups.
That's right.
And honestly, I haven't beenthat health conscious until I
met you, when I had my wholepanel done and I have lost now

(18:37):
55 pounds and.
I'm when it comes to gluten, Iam I as minimal as I can.
I'm not going to do it anymore, but I try as least as humanly
possible to actually eat gluten.
Good, I think if I hadn't andcorrect me if I'm wrong if I

(18:59):
hadn't done all the back workahead of time and then tried the
skincare products, I don't knowif I would have had the best
result with them so far, becauseI had to clean myself from the
inside first right.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
Yeah, and you can do it simultaneously.
Just cleaning up theenvironment simultaneously is
great.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
You're unburdening the body and you're starting
something new and a new routine, and when I got these products,
I'm like all right, this is cool.
What grabbed me was the nowater, because every time I buy
something whether it's Sephora, ulta and it's skincare, and it
claims to be the end-all, be-allthere's 30,000 ingredients in
the product.

(19:38):
I'm like that sounds great.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
That you can't pronounce Right.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
I don't even know if this is, they're 85 syllables
long yeah, yeah, if this is, ifthey're 85 syllables long, and
yeah, yeah, what am I putting in?
If your skin is your largestorgan?
What are you actually puttingon your face, right?
What are you putting in theorganic?
Really, really, what's the wordI'm trying to look?
Mirror spoke to you in terms ofit.
It excited me, and also thepackaging, because anything

(20:08):
organic is not going to come ina plastic bottle, in a glass
bottle.
Well, it's not going to come inplastic, it's going to come in
glass, right, right, right.
So a lot of people that thinkthey're buying organic or eating
things that are organic, ifit's packaged in plastic, you're
eating those microplastics andit's getting in your system
anyway.
So it kind of defeats the point.
So all of the skincare is inglass.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
Right and which is so .
I mean it's so great.
And I mean you and I are crazybecause we just love our
products so much.
I have never felt suchdelicious products for my skin
in terms of nourishing my skin, helping it feel like don't you
feel, when you use thecorrective cleansing oil, that

(20:53):
you feel like you got a facial?
I mean there's no dead cells.
I mean I love it too.
He's honey.
You're so dewy and glowy.
I'm like oh, thank you.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
And love the oil base .
It's hydrating to the skin.
It doesn't make your skin feeldry when you put certain
products on and it doesn't siton your skin either.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
It absorbs't make your skin feel dry when you put
certain products on and itdoesn't sit on your skin either
it absorbs, it absorbs and itexfoliates.
It's they're amazing products.
You didn't get their olive oilyet did you?

Speaker 2 (21:21):
No, I don't have that .
But I have everything under thesun that I can think of and I
use it.
It's my favorite time of day, Itell MacGyver I'm like my
favorite part of my day is myskincare routine.
I have my morning set that Iuse and then I have my evening
set that I use and I'm obsessedLike I.
I've had melasma, I've had skinissues, but a lot of it was due

(21:43):
to poor gut health, all myfermentation dehydration, which
I've been most of my lifebecause I'm not a big fan of
water.
So a lot of things played intomy acne, into my poor skin, sure
, so I had reasoning behind it.
It wasn't just oh, I have badskin.

Speaker 1 (21:59):
No, Right, it's not just a genetic thing, it's just
all this stuff compiles to giveyou what you've got.
So, yeah, yeah, and I feel likemy pigmentation's looking more
even, I feel.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
As soon as I put these products on the absorption
, instead of going on, it goesin, which is something I've
never really felt before tyrosolfrom the olive leaf tree.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
So this is why their products are antimicrobial,
because they use olive leafextract for keeping the products
clean and not growing fungusand bacteria, where I mentioned
earlier.
All the other products havewater and stabilizers in them
because they have to, and thiscompany is waterless.
They are a waterless beautycompany.
The water that they don't usethey build wells for people in

(22:50):
Africa.
For Everything about thecompany is so beautiful.
They are an amazing company.
Not only is their product toliver, but they are about people
.
They are about humans, they'reabout cleanliness, they're about
just building strength in theenvironment for healthier living

(23:11):
.
And I'm so grateful to Dr Jordanfor introducing me to the
products because they're justgreat.
Like I said, my whole career Iwas searching for something
clean and therapeutic and, likeI said, clean stuff is nice.
But the crow's feet keptcrowing in the wrong direction
and I literally guys I'm goingto be 60 in October.
You look amazing.

(23:33):
I mean I haven't had.
I have a little highlight in myhair trying to cover up some of
the gray, but that's about itit really feels good.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
I'm very happy with it overall.
Yeah, to try more, and there'sso many different products.
And then if you want to talkabout the skin quiz, like how to
tell which products becausethere's so many of them, it
could be a little bitoverwhelming, but yes yes, they
have the olive brain quiz.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
So, yeah, if you're not sure what you need, you
could take it and then you cantalk to either Janine or me
about you know what productswould be helpful and what you
really need.
I mean, they've got an oliveoil that's so delicious.
They've got a coffeealternative for people that love
coffee but can't do it.
It's a mushroom coffee.
I haven't tasted it yet, butthe people that have my clients

(24:20):
love it, love it.
Yeah, so there's a lot of stuffthat they have.
I know in the winter my feetare like lethal, you know.
So they have a nice foot balm.
They have a hand soap.
Anybody out there get like thecuts on their fingers in the
winter because even moisturizingsoap, but you still get like
the cuts on their fingers in thewinter because even
moisturizing soap, but you stillget those cuts.
Yep, I was going to be my firstwinter with their delightful

(24:41):
hand wash, which isappropriately named because it
smells totally delightful.
Speaking of smells, they useonly essential oils, no
synthetics, no chemicals.
I'm so sensitive to that stuff.
Right away, if it's in there,I'll have an instant headache.
There's nothing in there thatcauses me anything other than
joy in the shower in thebathroom.
When I'm using it.
It's completely amazing and Iwill say too, you know I'm

(25:07):
taking the pressure off my liver.
Everybody's livers work intriple time over time, quadruple
time with all the environmentalstuff that it has to do,
including digestion.
So this is a way to ease andlet the liver kind of it never
rests, but not have it do somany jobs.
That's a great point, right, byputting the clean stuff on your

(25:29):
skin.
And how about?
How concentrated the productsare?
Like you're probably not even aquarter way through your facial
cleanser yet yeah, you onlyneed it's so.
One or two points.
So the the products are areally nice price point too for
what they are, and they'rereally concentrated.
So hi, baby.

Speaker 2 (25:49):
Oh hi, sweetheart, this is the newest edition.
This is Lulu Hi Lulu.

Speaker 1 (25:59):
Oh, you are the most beautiful, lulu.
I love you.
Oh, I'm so glad you're on thepodcast, lulu.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
Your mom's dog.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
Oh, I'm so sorry about that yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:11):
And when she, when Roy's sister, passed, they, the
neighbors, took the dog.
They were in Alabama, they tookthe dog and they were having
issues, the neighbors with theircats.
Oh, they didn't know where thelittle one was going to go.
So they had mentioned if wewanted her and we said,
absolutely yes, we already havetwo other Shih Tzus.

(26:32):
Yes, we want her.
So my nephew came all the wayfrom Alabama and she's been with
us now since June.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
How do the other?

Speaker 2 (26:38):
two love.
Do they love her?
They're getting used to eachother.
It's definitely a process.
It is, it can be a dog.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
She is so cute she is .
She is such a little pickle.
I love her.
I stop for dogs.
Oh, we always have to stop fordogs.
Yeah, people that have beenlistening to me for months know
it's all about the dogs.
I don't have the doggy in thebackground today, but he's at
daycare playing at AuntiePaige's.

(27:06):
You know he's playing today.
So so, as I was mentioning, theproducts for the price point
are great because they last fortwo, three, four and five months
.
My eye wrinkle cream I got it.
It was one of the first thingsI got in November.
I still have half a jar leftand it's small Because you don't

(27:28):
need that much.

Speaker 2 (27:29):
No, you don't.
You don't.
My favorite thing in the worldbecause I wear, wear makeup
every day is that cleansing balm.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
Oh yeah, the green.
The green.
That's one of my upline.
Her name is Eliza.
She loves she always doesFacebook Lives about that one
and I love it because it's anice makeup remover.
It doesn't burn your eyes, itgets the mascara off, it gets
everything off and then you feelmoisturized after it.

Speaker 2 (27:56):
It's so pretty isn't it, it's, it is, it's pretty and
it does the trick.
I was using god forgive me ifyou're listening, but I was
using I'm not going to say thename of the company because
there's many out there but I wasusing those makeup removal
wipes.
The wipes, they were easy, yeah, they're convenient, they're
convenient, convenient, they'reconvenient, and I didn't want to

(28:18):
be bothered with putting myhair up, washing my face, doing
the whole thing, but my skin wascracking and my wrinkles were
becoming more dry because it'sdrying, it's sucking, taking
everything out.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
Yes, and you know, the interesting thing is that
you were saying earlier that youhave a skincare routine.
Now I was like if you were toask me to have a skincare
routine a year ago, I'd be like,oh hell, no, who has time for
that.
But once you start on theproducts, you just you love to
use them so much that you'recleansing morning at night.
And did you do the enzyme honey?

Speaker 2 (28:47):
mask yet oh, I love that.
I've done it a few times.

Speaker 1 (28:56):
Oh isn't it phenomenal.

Speaker 2 (28:57):
And you take it off and you're just like I just had
a 500 facial.
I just feel so good.
No, I use the retinol everynight and it has been a game
changer.
I've never used a real retinolbefore.
Right, and it's great.
And isn't it moisturized?
It's not drying, it's fabulous.
I look forward to my nightroutine.
Yeah, I hate liking thembecause I just buying.

(29:22):
However, I'm really feelingclean and good about what I'm
putting on my body and thatmakes me feel good.

Speaker 1 (29:30):
And there you have it .
I mean, that's it Again.
People know the people that areinterested in their health,
interested in having cleanthings in their kitchen, clean
things in their home, cleanthings to eat, clean things in
their environment and cleanthings to put on their body.
I mean it's a no brainer.
It's a no brainer and it's sowonderful.
They have shampoo.
They have a million types ofserums, three different, four

(29:52):
different kinds of face wash, amillion types of serums, three
different, four different kindsof face wash, cleansers, masks,
body toners.
They have two toners the onethat I we use, the activated
cell activated toner, andthere's another one that's like
a more therapeutic one that Isometimes use.
I'm a little hyperpigmented onmy arms from years of sun damage
and I started using it and myfreckles are kind of lightening

(30:14):
up, even like my chest frecklesare kind of lightening up.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
I need to do that on my chest, Renee.

Speaker 1 (30:18):
Yeah, do your like decollete area?
Yeah, you know you gotta.
I started when I started to putit on.
I like do my neck and I drag itdown and I do my shoulders and
I have to put my hormone creamon anyway, so that goes on over
my elevated stuff.
But anyway, I know I'm just soexcited to talk about this stuff
because it's really amazing.

(30:38):
If anybody has questions aboutanything with their health or
skincare, I'm here to answerquestions for sure.
But I want to just bring itback to the whole cleanliness of
your body.
You know, putting in good, clean food, digesting and if you
guys are having symptoms, whether it be fatigue, inability

(31:00):
to fall asleep, inability tostay asleep, that's a hormonal
issue from digestion and couldalso be from endocrine
disruption and then 10 millionother things.
My message today is toencourage you to start cleaning
up some part of your environment.
Whether you buy an air purifierI like the, what's the one I
use?
There's a million out there.

(31:21):
There's air doctor you knowcleaning up the air in your
house is a great start Makingsure you have good, clean,
filtered water and not the stufffrom the refrigerator, even if
you get like a zero pitcher thatyou filter from your own tap
that's affordable for everybody.
I think it's maybe $125.
You're filtering your own waterand then you have that filter

(31:43):
for months until you have tochange it.
That's a good, you know.
That's something a good startin terms of you don't want to
spend money on a big waterpurifier or underwater system or
something like that.
There's many ways to get cleandrinking water.
Make sure you guys are puttingin your electrolytes.
I love the Fringe Company.
I think you can get them onAmazon and I know you can get

(32:04):
them from Thrive.
I know a lot of people useThrive.
I just tasted their newraspberry electrolytes yesterday
.
They're very clean and theyhave little crushed up bits of
organic raspberry in there.
So it makes you want to drinkmore water clean water, right.
So that's important.
Cleaning up the diet you know ifyou know you love fried foods.

(32:25):
You know I love this because itjust tastes good and I know
it's bad for me.
It's almost hard to really kindof manually make that change.
That's really where somebodylike me would come in to really
help you change the chemistry ofthe gut brain, where your
hypothalamus, which is your airtraffic control, is telling your
tongue to go get that donut andyou're like I'm on it.

(32:47):
We start changing the terrainof your digestive tract.
Start digesting your foodbetter.
That air traffic control centertells the tongue hey, how about
an apple and some sunflowerseed butter and that's a great
snack.
You can put a few little youknow the enjoy life chocolate
chips on there If you want toget really decadent or something
.
There's a way to eat so cleanand so healthy and so delicious

(33:10):
that you're not missing anything.
So, my message to you guys outthere is if you're struggling
and you feel like you can't dosomething, you don't even want
to make the move over.
And he's going to have me gogluten free.
I'm going to eat bean sproutsand tofu.
I can't fricking do it.
No, my job is to help you takelittle baby steps forward to

(33:32):
have.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
Bean sprouts and tofu are really good and a good you
and I would like it, butwhatever.

Speaker 1 (33:35):
But anyway, you know my job is to help you guys baby
steps forward.
To have Beansprouts and tofuare really good.
You and I would like it, butwhatever.
But anyway, you know my job isto help you guys make baby steps
forward for big wins.
Right, your body will thank you, your environment will thank
you, your dogs will thank you.
Don't put plugins in your house, please.
Your cats, your goldfish, everybody's relying on clean

(33:56):
environment and there's a lot todo with how toxic the world is.
So, janine I don't know if youhave you can put your Oliveta
link, if you want, into thecomments, if you want.
Do you still have your link?

Speaker 2 (34:06):
Believe, so yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (34:10):
You put your link right in there.
If you want, you can put bothof our links, it doesn't matter.
This is a direct sale company.
It's nice.
There's no monthly obligationand, like I said, you just order
what you want when you want.
But trying the products isgreat.
And the other thing I forgot tomention they have a 365-day
money-back guarantee.
So even if you use the wholebottle of something and run over

(34:31):
it with your car and break thebottle, they're going to,
they'll refund you.
That's another wonderful thingabout this company and why I
love them and why I chose to addthem into my practice for sure.

Speaker 2 (34:45):
So so yeah, coming back at you guys, there you go,
and all of the tree people, ormy yeah, it's your own personal
link.

Speaker 1 (34:56):
Do you have it?

Speaker 2 (34:56):
on there.
I think I have it here.
I'm going to put it in.
Tell me, put it in, yeah.

Speaker 1 (35:02):
I'll see.
I mean put my glasses on, Seehere.

Speaker 2 (35:06):
I'm adding in the comments Okay, get over here.
Oh, I'll flash it on the screen.

Speaker 1 (35:18):
Yes, get obsessed.
You got it, that's perfect, love it.
Yeah, people can use that link.
That's Janine's link.
She's a consultant for Olivetaas well and she can answer
questions, and whateverquestions she can't, I can
answer because I have moreexperience with the products.
But I think next up for Janineis probably going to be the two

(35:39):
internal detox products for herto help her maintain what she's
doing and just keep a nicegentle cleansing and with the
liver, lymph and kidney.
The I-1 and the I-7 are justphenomenal.
So so the in closing, guys, ifyou can do one, something to
clean up your environment, whatever it is, give it a whirl,

(35:59):
starting with what you'reeating, your skincare, get rid
of the dove.
Cleansing ivory, get rid of thedove.
Get rid of the dove and look atyourself.
If the first ingredient is, oryourself If the first ingredient
is aqua or beagle.
If the first ingredient is wateror aqua, you're going to have

(36:23):
chemical stabilizers in thereand you're asking your body to
do more than it can because it'salready trying to deal with
everything else in theenvironment and what you're
eating, and not no judgment onwhat you're eating, because even
if you're eating a clean diet,it doesn't mean it's the right
diet for you, especially if youguys have symptoms and I like to

(36:43):
spell symptoms with, instead oftwo s's on the ends, two dollar
signs, because that's how thedoctors get their money so many
ways.

Speaker 2 (36:54):
I mean do it now so you don't have to deal with.
You know, poor liver function10, 15 years from now, because
once the liver goes, it's really, it's a it's down.

Speaker 1 (37:05):
Well, even just that, even before the liver goes, you
get a trillion other symptoms, from hormonal dysregulation to
skin issues, to eczema, psoriasis, which didn't even
touch on today.
Which how do you get that cleanstuff on and clean that up?
It's everything that wementioned for sure.
So, and you kind of stole myline.
You know I always tell clientslike, oh, this is expensive, pay

(37:26):
now or pay later, because laterlooks like doctor's visits
without any answers, medicationsthat don't work, that cause
more side effects and moresymptoms, when you can be
proactive now and do just alittle bit or a lot bit,
whatever you want to step intoto help your body be strong,
healthy and beautiful.
