Sunny (00:08):
it's time what time is it
?
Bruce (00:13):
it's time for the ugly
quacking duck podcast and a
brand new episode.
Okay, folks, it is the UglyQuackin' Duck Podcast.
We're happy to have you aboard.
I'm Bruce.
Sunny (00:35):
And I'm Sunny.
Bruce (00:36):
Yep, and we are glad to
have you.
We are recording the newepisode.
This is episode 111.
111.
111.
However, you want to say thatand we are coming to you from
our what sunny from our midwest.
Um studio, is that it closeenough our midwest studio here
(01:02):
in southern illinois, uh,located just a little bit
outside of Mount Vernon, illinois, for anybody that cares
.
Sunny (01:11):
I care, I'm here.
Bruce (01:14):
You are here and I'm glad
to have you aboard.
Sunny (01:18):
Well, thank you, Bruce.
It's kind of fun to be here.
And what weekend is this beingrecorded on?
Bruce (01:27):
I'm glad you asked, sunny
.
It is being recorded onfather's day weekend.
Yay, it is a 6 15 or june the15th, 2025.
We are recording this, like Isaid, in our Midwest home studio
(01:48):
and it is Father's Day weekend.
This is the weekend that wesupposedly honor our fathers,
and I hope you guys are alldoing that or have done that by
the time you listen to this show, are all doing that or have
(02:09):
done that by the time you listento this show, um, but I want to
really give a shout out and ablessing from one of our special
fathers.
Many of you know him as creator, um, I call him yahuwah and I
want to thank him for just theopportunity to be here, to be
(02:30):
able to record this podcast, andfor being part of this
historical time in our lives, even though it's not a very good
time for a lot of people, and Iagain ask you to be positive
and pray for the people in thisworld.
It's not good.
Sunny (02:52):
Yeah, I've been listening
to the news right along with
you, Bruce, and I know you don'tusually get political because
you don't want to bring peopledown, but I think you ought to
talk a little bit about it well,I kind of agree.
Bruce (03:11):
I don't like bringing up
political stuff, I don't like
being a downer.
I mean, we need hope in thisworld and that's what my podcast
strives to do, if nothing else,to get your mind off of what's
happening in the world.
But there's times when youcan't ignore it.
We can't stick our head in thesand, so to speak.
(03:34):
So we may discuss a little bitof that kind of topic today, and
if you don't want to listen toit, I guess you can fast forward
it.
Go to our chapters, because weuse chapter markers, or just
ignore us and shut it off.
It's your call.
That's why we like doing theseshows.
(03:56):
We call them a podcast.
They have episodes and chaptersand we use a podcast 2.0 as
much as possible.
So if you don't have a podcast2.0 player, get one so you can
see our chapters and ourtranscripts and stuff like that.
But anyhow, back to father's dayweekend.
(04:18):
It is father's day weekend.
It is also the weekend of FlagDay.
Believe it or not, it is theday that was set aside to call
it Flag Day, which is June the14th, and it was actually
(04:38):
adopted.
Well, here let me get to mynotes.
It was first proposed in 1861to rally the troops for the
Union side of the American CivilWar, but it was actually
adopted on June the 14th.
No, wait, a minute, I wrotethat down wrong.
(05:00):
Our flag was adopted on Junethe 14th 1777.
In 1916, president WoodrowWilson issued a presidential
proclamation I proclaim I don'tknow if he really did that, but
to designate June the 14th asFlag Day.
(05:22):
So we are celebrating Flag Dayon this weekend, or we have, by
the time you listen to this,it's also the US Army's, or they
celebrate their birthday onthis date, july or June, not
July, june the 14th.
(05:43):
And believe it or not, are youready for this?
Sunny (05:47):
Oh, tell me more, bruce,
tell me more.
Bruce (05:53):
Thank you, Sonny.
Sunny (05:55):
I'm glad I can help.
Bruce (05:59):
Well, it is also
President Donald J Trump's
birthday on June the 14th,believe it or not.
Now, that's kind of wild.
I did not know that until thecoming of this weekend and all
the hula hoopla, hoopla that wasgoing on about it.
(06:21):
But he was born on July, notJuly.
Why am I saying July?
June the 14th, 1946.
So we can actually call him anold coot also.
He, he, he.
Sunny (06:39):
You better watch talking
about him now.
They'll be marching into yourhouse.
Bruce (06:54):
Anyhow, talking about him
now they'll be marching into
your house.
Anyhow, this weekend's been abusy weekend for everybody and I
hope they had a safe weekend.
It was also no king's marchweekend and if you don't know
what that's about, I'm not evengoing to go into it because
you've got your head so deep inthe sand you won't know what
that's about.
I'm not even going to go intoit because you've got your head
so deep in the sand you won'tknow anything's going on, so it
won't do me any good to talk toyou about it.
But anyway, that was also goingon this weekend and I got up
(07:17):
this morning early and checkedthe news and I guess there were
some shootings.
Um, we also had uh, I think itwas minnesota had two
representatives or two politicalofficials that was shot and, uh
, there's a lot of rumor goingaround what that's about, but it
(07:37):
was definitely a politicalstrike and, uh, they think they
know who did it.
So the world went crazy, ourcountries went crazy and life is
not ever going to be the same, but we are here to bring a
little bit of sanity.
Sunny (07:57):
Are you sure it's sanity?
Bruce (07:59):
Well, no, not really.
We're here to bring somethingto this world and hope you get
some enjoyment out of it.
And we've got some newearthquake reports.
Sunny (08:11):
Yay, are we going to
guess?
Bruce (08:14):
Well, I guess I can let
you guess, but we've got so many
numbers it would take a lot oftime, so I don't know how we're
going to do that.
Sunny (08:24):
Boo-hoo.
Hey, tell me about my new micoh, okay, yeah, that's a neat
plan.
Bruce (08:33):
We have a microphone
change again.
Um, I did a little bit oftrading, you know.
I think you guys know if youremember, but I went through a
few new bikes and I ended upwith a samson q2u I think that's
(08:55):
what it's called, I don'tremember and a pod mic I was
using.
And I've still got some of myold mics too, but I like the
PodMic.
After I finally figured out howto adjust it, I really like it
a lot, so I ended up trading forone.
It's the newer model, it hasthe USB and the XLR on it, and
(09:21):
my first PodMic by uh rode justhad xlr.
So I can use the uh new onewith my computer if I wanted to.
But I don't do much computerrecording without going through
my my mixer box, so I use xlronly for now.
Anyhow, I traded for that.
(09:43):
I've got it set up as my mainmic and then I've set the other
one up as a standby mic but alsorun it.
So, um, right over there byguess who?
Sunny (09:59):
guess, who guess?
Bruce (10:02):
who right.
Guess who?
Oh yeah, it was Sonny.
I put it over by Sonny.
So if you hear a difference inthe audio quality the bass, the
treble, being able to pick thatout let me know.
See, you know, I'm just kind ofcurious.
(10:22):
I think it will be more clear.
I hope it will be.
There's not a lot of differencebut that he was using that q2u
and uh, it's just not quite asup to par, but these mics all
work really good, especially forwhat I do.
(10:45):
I mean, I'm not a pro.
It would be nice, though, oneof these days you get one of
those uh, road, uh, I think it'sa road uh, mv7, maybe I don't
know what.
That's what all theprofessionals in the radio
industry use for years or so,they say, and I wouldn't mind
(11:05):
trying one of those out one ofthese days.
But these are working good.
Like I said, once I finally gotthem adjusted for my voice, uh
did a lot of equalization.
Once you get that set, I thinkthey're pretty good mics.
They pick up really good.
I'm really pleased with themand I hope my audio hits your
(11:31):
ear and you find it pleasant, even though I got a terrible
voice, and that you will enjoythe podcast, because that's what
it's all about.
I mean, we want to put goodaudio out there because it's an
audio podcast, and we want goodmaterial too that you might
(11:53):
enjoy.
But we just do it for fun.
Sunny (11:58):
Yeah, fun, fun, fun, fun,
fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun.
Bruce (12:06):
Well, fun, fun, fun, fun,
fun, fun, fun, fun.
Well, fun, fun, fun.
I think I say that too becausewe do like to have fun and we
are having fun and we wouldn'tbe doing this if it wasn't
having some fun.
But we would really appreciatesome conversation back to some
(12:28):
input from our listeners.
So, friends and family andwe're going to call you friends
unless you just turn out to bemean to us we expect some return
emails, whatever it takes, someyou know results.
(12:52):
Give us your results.
Sunny (12:57):
Yee, results, results.
Okay, Well, there we go, herewe go.
I'm really liking this mic.
I like the way it sounds.
Bruce (13:13):
So can you tell the
difference, sonny?
Sunny (13:15):
I think I can.
Yeah, it articulates my voicebetter.
Bruce (13:24):
Oh boy, Big word there
for you.
Sunny (13:27):
Hey, I'm very
knowledgeable, you just don't
know it.
I keep it secret.
Bruce (13:37):
It's a well-hidden secret
.
I think if you're telling meyou're smart, I never said that
Okay okay, you never did.
I'll take that back.
You never said.
You smart, maybe alec, look out.
Okay, here we go.
I'm looking, what am I?
(13:58):
Oh?
gosh okay, yeah, so while we'retalking about no king's march,
I've I've not got to check outthe news too much see what
actually happened with all that, and the president made a great
(14:19):
big parade with the armed forcesand trying to show, you know, a
little bit of support for ourarmed forces and what we have
capable of, or there's been alot of people, I think that, and
the ice stuff that was going onin the towns, or I should say
(14:41):
cities, actually brought out theno Kings March and I'm not sure
if they accomplished what theywanted to.
Now I do.
I want to say this, just to putit out there I do believe in
protesting and speak in yourmind, and I I really think it's
(15:08):
bad when people are being, uh,corralled into corners and
arrested because, just becausethey're doing that now I also
know there's agitators that havebeen called in and they always
are when there's protests, andthey get amongst that and get
people riled up and they causedestruction.
(15:32):
Sometimes they hurt people andthat's what they want to stop
and I agree with that.
So, um, I just hope you guyskeep your heads on.
If you do any more protestingover the course of days, weeks
and years, there may come a timewhen that's not an option
(15:55):
anymore, but let's cross thatbridge when it comes.
Okay, for now it's still anoption to be what courteous, but
yet letting people know how youstand.
So if you're standing in frontof vehicles and all the
(16:18):
unnecessary stuff right now, then be aware that they're
probably going to come down onyou.
All right, and that's all I'mgoing to say about that.
Sunny (16:29):
And I heard that bruce
that's all you gotta say about
that yeah, pretty good phrase, ain't it?
Well, I don't know.
Bruce (16:42):
Well, let's uh jump into
a little bit of weather real
quick.
Not much, I'm not going tocover very much.
We have had rain and the heathas come.
It is a warming way up.
The humidities went way up.
You can tell it's getting intojune.
(17:03):
Uh, somebody flipped the switch, I think, but it looks like
hot's here to stay.
However, uh, the sun was out afew days and then we went back
to getting rain, which made itmore and more humid because the
rain's not cooling it down likeit was, uh, just a couple weeks
(17:26):
ago.
So here in southern illinoisand most of the midwest, uh,
we're still getting storms, butit's mostly rain.
Around here, uh, there is somethunder, but no heavy winds, so
it's kind of quieted down, which, but we're still getting a lot
(17:49):
of rain, and the forecast thelast I looked called for the
next 10 days some kind of rainin out during that whole time.
Sunny (18:00):
So yuck yuck, yuck, yuck,
yuck, yuck.
I kind of like the rain, but wewon't go into that.
Bruce (18:10):
Bruce, or suicide Brooke
oh, don't start that Brooke
stuff oh come on brooke, brooke, brooke uh, it's bruce sure it
is.
Sunny (18:30):
Yeah, you tell yourself
that's what you want, if it
makes you sleep oh boy, okay.
Bruce (18:38):
So anyway, the weather's
been kind of weird Again.
This, what do you call that?
We're still in spring, I don'tthink summer's come upon us
quite yet, but anyway, todayit's right around 76 degrees,
humidity's 74 degrees.
For everybody that's herelocally, you'll see what I mean.
(19:02):
The air quality is 58, which iskind of moderate.
We only have a two mile an hourwind.
Winds really died down.
Um, now, if we switch over tophoenix arizona that's a the
city and state I like to compareto because it's so much
different right now it's 101degrees and sunny in phoenix
(19:27):
arizona.
If there's anybody out there inarizona that likes to comment
on my reports, let me know.
But we're at 76, they're at 101and they're sunny and we're
cloudy.
They got a nine percenthumidity where we've got 74 and
it'll probably rain again.
(19:48):
It's cloudy here, guys.
I look outside and it lookslike it's probably, uh,
equivalent to seven in theafternoon, 7 8 pm, because it's
kind of got that dingy.
Look to it.
Uh, they're also having twomile an hour wind in phoenix
(20:10):
arizona, same as us, but theirair quality is at 29, which is
good.
Ours again is at 58, oh boy.
So we'll look at some quickdetails here in southern
illinois, sunrise was at 5 31 amand sunset is at 8 21 pm.
(20:36):
Uv index is at 4 out of 11today, which is not bad, but
that's because of the cloudcover.
It's not letting all that in.
Humidity again will be at 91%.
That's tonight.
Man, it's going to get nastytonight.
(20:57):
Moon rises at 11.54 pm, moonsets at 9.
54 pm, moon sets at 9 26 am andwe're in the waning gibbous of
the moon.
That's what stage we're in.
Yeah, so today is supposed tohave a little bit of clouds,
maybe some scattered rain.
Tomorrow it's the same dealscattered thunderstorms.
(21:19):
Yay.
I still haven't fixed my ridinglawnmower, so I'm trying to
push this in between rains andI'm not doing a good job.
I'm really getting behind.
So pray for me folks, send outgoodwill.
However you want to do it,we'll call it that.
(21:40):
Oh boy.
There's something about when Isit down to do a recording.
I can be in here off and on allday, but there's something
about sitting down and startinga recording and my throat wants
to get scratchy and my nosewants to plug up and boy, oh boy
(22:04):
.
Sunny (22:06):
Oh, you're just using
that as an excuse.
Bruce, you can't talk, youcan't do a podcast, blah, blah,
blah.
Bruce (22:15):
Wow, For a guy that likes
to podcast.
You sure are cutting me down.
Sunny (22:22):
Oh, it has nothing to do
with the podcast.
I just like giving you a hardtime.
Bruce (22:28):
Well, thank you, you're
such a bum.
Hey you are too.
I am.
I'm the biggest bum of all.
Sunny (22:41):
I think you had a
malfunction.
Bruce (22:44):
I think I did, but it's
done did.
Sunny (22:48):
Done did Hee hee, that's
funny.
Bruce (22:52):
Okay, anyway, that's our
local weather and our Phoenix
Arizona comparison.
Yay, we like doing that, justto give everybody a taste of
what's going on, in case they'relistening to this from other
states, other countries or justwanting something different to
think about.
There you go.
(23:12):
That's what that's for.
Let's go into the earthquakes.
Sunny (23:16):
No, let's not go into the
earthquakes.
Bruce (23:20):
Oh, you are so right,
let's go into the earthquake
report Now.
If you are with us listeningand you're able to pull up, go
to our homepage.
No, go to our website,theuglyquackingduckcom.
(23:40):
Go to the page that is calledcalled.
Let me get my mouse over hereso I can pull it up support our
podcast.
Click on that link.
It's on the top of our page oron the left side.
There's a list support ourpodcast.
(24:01):
You can read about our value forvalue thanking there on this
podcast page.
But I want you to scroll downto the very bottom and you'll
see a printout that you caneither print it out or you can
download it and print it outlater, however you want to do it
(24:23):
.
But if you want to get thatprint out before we start our
report, just hit pause, go printit out and then you'll be ready
.
But what that's for is to matchup the numbers as we do this
report and that way we'll havesome something in writing so you
(24:45):
can follow along with us, be anexercise for you, and then you
have this to look at so you cankind of compare what's going on
oh, I see, it's a visualcomparison you are right, as
always.
(25:05):
I better not say that.
Sunny (25:09):
You just cut yourself off
.
Bruce (25:14):
Oh, you're not nice, yeah
, all right.
So, yes, it's a visualcomparison.
So what we're going to do iswe're going to go over the
earthquakes.
We do a seven-day report, andwhat we started doing last time
because I had originally wentback and looked at my numbers
(25:39):
for the last three years of myreporting that I've been doing
on the podcast and I didn't I Iassumed I know what that means,
don't quote anything, but Ithought that we had been
increasing in um numbers ofearthquakes and I went back and
(26:03):
looked in three years and weactually didn't show that.
So I thought I'd go back andstart looking up some years and
see what we come up with.
So I did that and I reported onthat last week and I am going
to add something to that now.
(26:24):
Last week, which was 6-8, tookus back from 6-8 to 6-1.
I went over all that and wentback that same seven days and
(26:46):
then I thought, while I wasdoing the report last week, I'll
just go back to 1999.
So I did that and I have thosenumbers.
So if you want to get your, ifyou followed along last week,
get your paper out, write down6-8-1999 on the third date
(27:09):
column.
On the first column, third row, down where it says date, and
write down here's what we hadAll magnitudes that year was
(27:30):
1,749, which was about normalfor us right now, and then 2.5
magnitudes was 415.
And then 4.5 and over was 84,which sounds very similar to
what we're having this year.
(27:52):
Now we had one 6.0 and overmagnitude earthquake and it
happened in Guatemala.
It was actually a 6.3.
Magnitude earthquake and ithappened in Guatemala.
It was actually a 6.3.
So that was a pretty if you cancall it an average year.
Sunny (28:13):
Kind of weird, though,
wasn't it?
Everything's weird about this.
It doesn't go nothing normal orwhat you'd think would be
normal.
Bruce (28:27):
You got that right.
You got that very right, allright, so I also I made this
sheet.
So there's four different datesections and then next to them
you can write down, you know, the magnitudes and then the 6.0s
.
Well, on the last one, we'regoing to do three years on each
(28:48):
page, so 2025, 2019, and 1999.
So what are we going to do withthat fourth date range?
Well, here's what we're goingto do.
I had an idea.
Sunny (29:05):
Oh, no An idea yeah an
idea.
Bruce (29:13):
We're going to do a
30-day count.
So go down there next to thatlast date line and write in
there 30 days.
And what we're going to do iswe're going to go back from june
8th 30 days each year.
(29:34):
So in that darkened columnright above 30 days, move over
to the first set of blocks, write 2025, which is the same
column that all magnitudes are.
If you look all the way up tothe top, you're going to put
(29:57):
2025 in the the last threecolumns.
There, or the last, you knowthe last darkened line.
Next to it you're going towrite 2019, and right next to
that you're going to write 1999.
So I'm going to give you a30-day count all magnitudes for
(30:20):
2025, which is this month, back30 days.
So we started on 6-8, or thatwas the ending date.
However, you want to put thatand went all the way back, and
the count for 2025 is 9,300.
(30:41):
So write that below that year,9,300, which, uh, I don't know
if that's good or bad.
But then we go over to 2019.
Now, remember, we started thisso we could go back and prove
that they're getting worse andthere's more of them.
And when I went back the firsttime and started counting these,
(31:04):
I was shocked at what I foundout.
So the 30 days for 2019 is12,183.
So that is higher by 3,000, ornearly 3,000, compared to this
(31:26):
year.
Now, you wouldn't figure that.
And then let's go over to 1999.
The 30-day report for it was8,653.
So there you go.
That's what we're going tostart doing on each week.
Um, to give a account.
(31:46):
Uh, may not.
I don't know if I'm going to dothat every week or just wait
and do it once a month, causethat's a 30 day report.
So I may do it, uh, the firstepisode of the month every month
, but I did it today and I didit for last week's reports, just
(32:07):
to have a basis to look and seewhat it says.
So, anyway, there we go, and,um, now we're going to do the
15th.
Sunny (32:24):
The 15th, you mean.
Bruce (32:29):
June the 15th.
Yeah yeah, that's what I said.
Sunny (32:33):
Okay, if that's what you
said, we will do it.
Bruce (32:43):
Can I guess?
Yeah, you can guess, all right, okay, let's go to get your
papers out, guys.
If you've got it, stop it,pause it, print it out, get your
pencil out, get ready, becausewe are going to do the seven-day
report for June, the 15th 2025,today, and we're going to let
(33:08):
Sonny guess.
Sonny, last week it was, forall magnitudes, 2086.
So what do you think?
Did it go up?
Did it go down?
Sunny (33:21):
2086.
So what do you think?
Did it go up, did it go down?
Bruce (33:29):
You're not going to worry
me, all right.
So did it go up or did it godown?
Sunny (33:39):
I told you what last week
was?
I'll repeat it 2086.
All right, well, I think theywent up, so what do you think
about that?
Bruce (33:49):
Did I guess right?
Oh, sonny Boo.
Wow, you're not getting verygood You're being.
You were pretty good atguessing there for a few months.
You actually was pretty darnclose, almost on the nose.
Sunny (34:09):
I know I've lost my
hoopla.
Bruce (34:13):
I think when you morphed
the last time, you did something
to your brain.
Sunny (34:19):
Hey now.
Bruce (34:22):
Well, something's wrong.
You're not guessing like youused to.
Sunny (34:26):
Well, I think it's
because we don't have Lily here
and she inspired me.
Bruce (34:33):
Well, that could be.
We need to get her back.
She's not here most of thepodcast and we need to have some
people write in and say theymissed her and we need her back
and I'll show her those andmaybe she'll make an effort to
be part of our podcast.
She's not going to school rightnow, so she has no excuse.
Sunny (34:58):
Let's do that on.
Folks write in, tell her youwant to see her.
You can send a text.
All you have to do is have a, apodcast player 2.0, and it
applies.
Has a little thing down thereunder our description.
(35:20):
Says text us do that or emailus at at the ugly quacking duck.
Bruce (35:31):
No, let me say this
properly the ugly quacking duck
at gmailcom.
Sunny (35:36):
All one word, no caps
there you go, do it, it man Do
it, man Do it.
Bruce (35:44):
What if it's a woman?
Sunny (35:47):
Do it woman, do it woman,
Do it woman.
Bruce (35:51):
What if it's something
else?
Oh heck, just do it.
Oh man, we're having some funyou did it again I know, I know
I uh get snap happy.
(36:11):
Anyway, I'm sorry to say, sunny, that it actually went down this
week.
All magnitude count was 1990,so it went.
So that probably means theother counts will go up a little
bit.
We'll look at it and see.
(36:32):
But it's going to release somepressure.
That's what they think, but I'mbeginning to think it's
building up pressure each time.
It does that.
So it was down quite a bit, does that?
(36:57):
So it was, uh, down quite a bit.
The 2.5 magnitudes for this lastweek was 273, what was 353 last
time, and on the 4.5 and overmagnitudes it was 85 or it was
84 last time.
So if you got your paper, writeon the top date 6, 15, 25.
That's the earthquake seven dayreport.
It's right underneath that.
(37:17):
Move over to the right onecolumn where it says all
magnitudes, write 1990, 1990.
Two point that's the firstcolumn over after the earthquake
seven-day report.
Go over one more to the right,2.5.
And over magnitudes right 273.
(37:39):
And then one more column overto the right, right 4.5
magnitude, and it is rightunderneath that, 85, yeah, and
then one more column over is oursix and over report.
So you write underneath that6.0.
(38:02):
We had one six and over, whichwas a 6.0, and it was in the
corral islands I think that'show you say that k-u-r-i-l
islands and it's uh.
If you just take off to the uhfrom the west coast, from
(38:23):
california, and go almoststraight southwest and then over
from Japan and go straightsoutheast, it kind of converges
and it's right in there in theocean.
That's where the Corral Islandsare.
So what do you think about thatSunny?
Sunny (38:43):
I think there's too many
numbers going on.
I can't tell, but it lookedlike the numbers were down but
the 4.5 were up, just one.
Bruce (39:02):
That's right.
Um, it looks like the smallerones, like the 2.5 below, was
down quite a bit, because weonly lost, uh, not even quite a
hundred on the 2.5 and we gainedone on the 80, the 4.5.
(39:25):
So that tells me once againthat where our number come from
or our loss come from is thesmaller one.
So they're they're going to bebuilding up this week and we'll
see what happens next week.
All right, so we're going to dosome comparison now how we
(39:46):
doing on time?
Oh, we're going to do somecomparison.
Now, how are we doing on time?
Oh, we're batting 1,000, sortof.
So we're going to look at the6-15-2019, the seven-day report.
Are you ready, get ready towrite this down?
All magnitudes, 3,188.
Now, that's compared to 1990,this week this year, and last
(40:15):
week was 2086 this year.
So, once again, 2019 had moreearthquakes all magnitudes.
For this seven-day period, now,the 2.5 magnitudes were 449.
(40:37):
And then the 4.5 was 130.
And I look back and we had lastweek, last week 2019, we had
(41:11):
more earthquakes all magnitudes3,754, compared to this time
3,188.
We had 449 2.5s this week, lastweek in 2019.
Now, when I say this week, itwas 2019 and last week 2019.
Hope you can follow along.
It was 444 last week and it's449 this week, and then the 4.5
(41:32):
is 130.
And this last week, in 2019, itwas 1,119.
So we had an increase in thesmaller earthquakes last week of
the 2019 period.
(41:54):
So the 6.0 and above was 6.1 inTonga, the 6.4 in Chile and a
7.3 in the Comrades Islands 7.3,folks.
I don't know if anybodyremembers that from 2019, but we
(42:20):
definitely had a big one.
And then let's move up to 1999.
So what we're going to do isgive the seven-day report for
June, the 15th, seven days back.
So the total was 1,382, 1,382.
(42:43):
And that's why I gave you thego ahead and write that down
1,382.
And then we'll go over to thenext one, and it's 429.
So the 2.5 and above was 429,and then the 4.5 and above was
91, and then we had one 6.0 andover magnitude earthquake and it
(43:10):
was a 7.0 in Mexico.
That's pretty big.
Now I hope you're writing thesedown, the date, and then, as I
read off the numbers each time, because what that's going to do
is give you a visual sight soyou can go back and study these
(43:31):
and you can see what I'm tryingto compare them to.
So let's go back and look atlast week, seven days in 1999.
So a year, that'd be same yearperiod for both reports.
(43:51):
So we had this time around wehad 1382 and the last seven day
report for 1999 was 1749.
So it increased and 2.5 andover was 429 this time.
(44:13):
The last seven day report was415 in 1999 and the 4.5 was 91
this time period in 1999 andLast week in 1999 it was 84.
(44:37):
So there you go, you have it.
We set it.
Now let's do a 30-day reportfrom this week For 615, 2025.
If I go back 30 days, it was9561.
(45:02):
In 2019 it was 8,158.
So 1999 and 25 seems to be verysimilar, but once again, 2019
seems to be big.
So I may do this report, the30-day report, one or two more
(45:23):
times to see what it looks like, more times to see what it looks
like.
And then when I start, when Iswitch reports, or when I we
switch months and go to july, Imay just make that 30-day report
one once a month, becausethat's a lot of numbers to try
to track and everything.
(45:45):
But there you go, that's isseven day reports, earthquakes,
and I'm gonna go back and lookat our report, see if there's
anything new happening right nowdoesn't look like it.
Don't look like any majorthings have happened.
Okay, there's a lot of.
(46:06):
There's what they call swarms,um, happening in the quite a bit
in alaska, uh, california a lotof swarms, that's what they
call little earthquakes that arejust all over the place and
happening a lot and we're seeinga lot of that.
(46:28):
It looks like Arkansas andplaces like that is having quite
a few tenants.
See, there's a lot of gossipabout the faults giving way here
(46:48):
soon.
We can't get in all this rain.
There's a good chance thatthat's going to wait down the
ground and some earthquakes aregoing to happen.
We'll have to wait and see, butthat's what's going on right
now.
So if we consider what I'venoticed in the past when I do a
seven-day report, is that thenumber of earthquakes go down,
(47:18):
but we have bigger earthquakeson top, like 6.0s and the 4.5s
and the 4.5s, and when theearthquakes go, all of them, the
magnitudes go up.
They're all magnitude thatcount goes up, then them other
ones, the higher end ones, godown.
So that means there's moregoing on.
(47:41):
So I'm wondering if we won'tsee that same pattern with these
totals throughout the 30-dayreport throughout the other
years.
We'll have to watch it and seewhat it does.
Anyhow, I've kept you guys longenough.
I don't have any more news toreport.
I didn't look any up.
(48:01):
There's probably quite a bitgoing on, but I didn't want to
keep everybody.
This is a Father's Day weekendso I don't want to stay here and
record, but I do want one lastthing I want to talk about.
Over the end of the week, thislast week, israeli attacked Iran
(48:25):
.
They called it a preemptivestrike and I think they just
preempted it because they wasfearful that they might get a
better hand up over themsometime or another, because
they've been yelling for thelast 40 years that they're
(48:45):
building up nuclear weapons.
But I don't want to get intothe political scene.
That's not what I'm here for.
I just want you to know thatthey attacked Iran which if
you've been listening toanything, you know that and Iran
did counterstrikes and there'sbeen a lot of destruction,
people dying, and war is notgood 's, not good guys.
(49:10):
That's a hate mongering is allthat is, and for some reason us
humans can't get along.
I know one person gets mad atthe other person and whatever
causes it, but it's happeningover there in the middle east
and it's israel's been um, Idon't know what you want to call
(49:37):
it devastating is a good wordthe guys the strip, the
palestinians, and there's a lot,a lot of death and suffering
over in that area.
So I'm just telling you this, not to bring you down.
You probably already knowwhat's happening.
You probably already have heardall the scuttlebutt about it
(50:01):
and gossip and conspiracies, andI'm not getting into any of
that.
What I am going to say is I canguarantee you the Father is not
pleased by our actions.
It's not good.
We are, we're under amicroscope and it's up to us as
(50:34):
a world to get it together.
We can't blame the other guy,we can't hate the other one.
It's up to us and I'm going toleave the show, the episode,
close it out with the fact thatif we don't love, if we don't
(51:00):
care, it's not going to happen, because it's got to start with
us, me, you.
So please be careful what youAllow into your brain, into your
soul.
I hope you all have a happyFather's Day, or have had a
(51:25):
happy Father's Day.
I hope we all come out of thisweekend decently.
I'm sure there's not going tobe a few people, or many people.
Let me rephrase that there'sgoing to be many people.
That doesn't come out of thisgood.
So I'm offering my prayers forall the people over there and
(51:52):
all the suffering.
And if you don't believe inprayer, that's fine, but at
least you can stop for a momentand have positive thoughts and I
know that's hard to do in thisworld, you're not practiced up
on that but just stop for aminute and think one positive
thing and then shoot thattowards those people.
(52:15):
One positive thing If it's justno pain or if it's just food,
medicine, just one positivethought, one.
That's all I'm asking for andsend that over to people.
Okay, if you don't want to pray, if you don't believe in the
Yahuwah, fine, do that for me.
(52:39):
Okay, all right, sonny, gotanything you'd like to say?
Sunny (52:44):
Wow, you're talking about
very deep and serious.
Wow, I know I very deep andserious.
Bruce (52:50):
Wow, I know I didn't want
to do that, but it has to be
said.
Sunny (52:52):
Okay, okay.
Bruce (52:58):
What was that?
Sunny (53:01):
That was my positive
thought.
Bruce (53:07):
Oh, so you're sending a
positive thought.
Sunny (53:11):
Yeah, I don't mind
praying, but hey, a positive
thought is good too.
I can do that.
I did that.
Yay, I did that.
Bruce (53:22):
Okay, well, thank you,
and to all those that may not
hear this, may they receive that.
Sunny (53:32):
Wow, that almost yeah.
