The Ultimate Journey of Self-Care

The Ultimate Journey of Self-Care

What does Self Care look like to you? It's not a spa day, a massage or a workout. It's not a day off from work, or a bubble bath. It's so much more than the things we do, it's HOW we prioritize ourselves in general. Join me every Tuesday and Thursday for two different editions of the Ultimate Journey of Self Care. Tuesday's show is a deeper dive into what self care can look like for you with conversations about fitness, mindset, energy eating and fuel for your body, spirituality, travel and leisure and more. On Thursdays we'll take a closer look at self care for your business, on the Business Edition, as an entrepreneur, with short bite sized episodes about growing and innovating in your business in a post pandemic world. Join me and we'll take a walk on the journey of self care together. Subscribe and Follow us so you don't miss an episode.

Being an innovator in business means you not only think differently, but you believe in HOW to do business differently.

So let's go ahead and put it out there–what’s one of the BIGGEST charged subjects that relates to our self care?

Yep–I’ll say it.

MONEY.

Not only does money involve lots of emotion and energy for so many, it also can hold us back from really prioritizing ourselves and how we make our choices around it.

Money is simply energy. It’s not something we eat, drink or live in–and we don’t drive it.  Money alone doesn’t cause us probl...

Part of REAL self care for yourself is not just working on specific things–like getting more activity in, eating better, focusing on sleep and rest, and managing stress better.

REAL self care is embodying the art of EMPOWERING yourself.  In other words–work with your WHOLE imperfect self. When we focus on the things that really empower us–we get more clarity on what we want and what matters to us–and most importantly–WHY it matters.

Our minds are going at breakneck speed throughout the day.

It shows up as perpetual thoughts about what we need to do, what we should be doing, and all our limiting thoughts. WE form opinions about all of it and that creates resistance.  We react to the resistance with thinking and doing things that don’t serve us.

What if you could learn a way to ‘quiet your mind’ so you could live a more ‘enlightened life’? Better yet, what if you ...

The most important question we should be asking ourselves every day is ‘What are you believing today’.

It’s a question that literally not just shows us how we see the world, but how we make our choices and act.

When we consistently believe things or stories that don’t serve us–we get stuck.  And it shows up in our life everywhere–from how we live at home, work and beyond.

The way we do things becomes part of our routine. We call it ‘normal’, or ‘regular’. We don’t question it. It can apply to the good and the bad–meaning the things we like and the things we just complain about.

Did you know you could use modern day hypnotherapy as part of a daily self care practice?
