The Death of TikTok, Repro Rights Rundown, and Outlander's William is a Little B****

Samie and Emily are back with the last Power P’s of 2024, and let’s say—it’s all a hot mess.

The you-know-what has already hit the fan, and it’s splattering everywhere. From the latest federal spending plan to our new President Fugly-Truck, to the heartbreaking reality that women are dying and losing limbs for the sake of fetuses, those same anti-abortion advocates totally forget about the second they are outside of someone else’s body. It’s a real fun time.

Of course, they dive deep into the looming death of TikTok, thanks to a Congress that’s more focused on banning a social app than keeping schoolchildren alive (or, you know, caring about anyone else’s life). They also tackle the shmurder of a CEO, that is hopefully shaking up the entire healthcare system. Oh, and don’t forget the men in uniform who shmurder, rape, laugh it off, and keep their jobs (or get new ones). Just another day in the life.

But hey, it’s not all doom and gloom! There’s some good news, too. Reproductive rights groups are STILL fighting the good fight to protect YOU. Washington may finally tackle its backward tax system, and no, Governor Inslee is NOT moving to a state with the second-best potatoes (calm down, Idaho).

Sure, they’re worried. But they’re finding solace in Queer Eye, Palm Royale, Outlander, Kings of Tupelo, and Evil Lives Here (Emily has promised to watch at least one episode).
