• how to tell support from sabotage
• signs of mind games and delay tactics
• why envy hides inside “reasonable” advice

SPEAKER_00 (00:26):
Good morning.
And welcome to Coolin's MorningInspirations.
This is your host, MichaelTarrell.
And I just wanted to hit youguys up today about uh subject.

(00:48):
Um go where you're celebrated,right?
Not where you're tolerated.
I know you probably heard thataround before.
And it's a true statement.
Go where you're appreciated,right?

(01:09):
Don't be around people that wantto hold you down, hold you back,
don't want to see nothing goodin your life.
Um go where people want to, youknow, celebrate the things that
you do.
Always try to uplift you, alwaysvalidate your ideas.

(01:32):
And if they are bad ideas, theyhave something to critique it,
but they're not always justshooting the crap down.
You know what I'm saying?
Those are the things that youhave to look out for when you
have things of that nature, where you have people that just
want to always be the negativeperson and around your your
circle.

(01:52):
That negative aura can bringnegative things around.
So sometimes you have to getaway from those things, and
there's nothing wrong with it,it's just that you know the that
person does not, you know, orbitorbit the same thing that you
do, or the same moral compass, same drive, compass, same, I

(02:21):
don't know, like you know, whatever doesn't fit in your
your life, you know, and they'realways trying to be the anchor
to it, you have to watch out forthose things.
Because if you let that personalways sit there and make you
feel a certain type of way, there's some people that like to

(02:43):
play mind games, right?
And you have to watch out forthose people because those
people sometimes, especially ifthey know that they can do it,
and sometimes you let them playwith your mind, not really
because you want them to, butbecause like you're hoping and
wishing for the good part aboutit, but it never comes.

(03:03):
But they know that, right?
Jobs know it, people inrelationships know it.
Sometimes even people at thestore know it.
Yeah, hold on one second, sir.
We're about to be right withyou.
Car dealerships, oh my god, cardealerships are horrible.

(03:25):
They'll leave you thinking thatyou're about to be done with
this car process, but for someodd reason you wanted to go
check out like five other cars, but they want to hold on to you
as much as they can and drag outyour whole day so you spend all

(03:48):
your time there, right?
I know that's a little bit offsubject, but what I'm just
saying is find the ones thathave the best intentions for
you, not the ones that have theintentions for themselves, and

(04:10):
most individuals know, right?
If I have the best intentionsfor you and you have the best
intentions for me, then thatworks out for the best, and we
have a great situation, butthere's a lot of times that
you'll end up dealing withpeople that have to shoot you
down to build them up, they haveto make you feel like you can't

(04:33):
do something so that you don'toutshine them, and those are the
ones that you really have tolook out for, the ones that sit
out there and hope and wish thatyou don't get past their level,
but their level is so small.
The level is small, but Isuppose to stay on your level.

(04:59):
They don't want you to gethigher than them, so a lot of
times, yeah.
They'll down you, they'll tellyou you can't do it, or the
ideas that you have are dumb.
Oh man, that's stupid, man.
You're gonna waste your time, you're gonna waste your money.
Don't listen to that.
You know, you have great ideas, man.

(05:22):
People have great ideas, peoplehave things that they want to do
in life.
Don't let nobody hold you backfrom them.
Always pursue your dreams, always be around good company.
Look at all this mess that'sgoing on out here when it comes

(05:45):
down to best friends.
I I you know, um, best friendsleaving friends stranded, best
friends going out on vacationstogether, but one ends up gone,
murdered.
You have so many situationswhere you have family members

(06:07):
that screw over family members, they blood, and they still mess
over each other.
So there's no one spot, there'sno safe haven, there's no safe
nothing.
You have to know that you haveto be on your pivot and

(06:29):
understand the things that arearound you.
Know if they mean good, know ifthey mean bad, and if they mean
bad, get rid of them.
If you had cancer, they wouldtell you to cut the cancer out
and get rid of it.
Do you think about the cancerafter you get rid of it?
No.
Yeah, because that is detachedfrom you, it's not in your body

(06:51):
no more, and that you don't wantto deal with it no more.
So a lot of times that's a lotof things with a lot of things
that's going on with your lifeand your situational shit, you
know.
If you have something, asituation to where you feel like
you shouldn't be in it, get outof it.
Don't think about it no more, don't circle back, you know, and
then a lot of these things thatpeople say, you know, and make

(07:13):
it to be cool, right?
Like spinning the block.
Why spin the block?
That person wasn't good for youthe first time, right?
And there, I forgot how manybillion people are in this
world, but there are a lot.
And there are a lot of people inyour city, there's a lot of

(07:33):
people in your state, there's alot of people in your country,
there's a lot of people in yourcontinent.
And if you can't find nobody inyour continent, there's other
continents that you can go to totry to find somebody.
To keep circling back to thething that did not work is
insanity, it's insanity, people.

(08:02):
I wouldn't I I don't understandit, you know.
Sometimes, yeah, you would thinkthat, oh man, you know, he that
person cheated, but you know, Ilove the company.
Like, bro, I promise there'ssomething out there, someone,
some female, some man, somewhatever is out there that can

(08:25):
match that same energy, orprobably exceed it.
If you have a job, and that jobis doing nothing for you, but
you there and you thinking thatyou're gonna grow because jobs

(08:45):
will dangle it.
Hey man, we're gonna make youmanager, man.
Ah, so the person that doesn'tknow what manager means, it just
means more money.
They'll dangle that to you, thinking, like, hey man, if I
get manager, my whole life willchange.

(09:06):
And they'll dangle that overyour head until you die, and
they'll always tell you whatyou're not doing and what you
need to improve on to get there.
Oh man, do I know from personalexperience?
Yes, I had a job that dangledthat over my head for a decade.

(09:33):
A smooth decade.
They held that over my head, telling me that they were gonna
do this, that, and the third.
And it took until almost melosing my life for me to
realize, hey man, this shitain't for me.
Because they ain't got my bestinterest there.
And with that being said, I hadto move on because if I would

(09:54):
have stayed there, I would havehad, you know.
Uh I wouldn't have never knownmy worth.
And sometimes it takes otherpeople to see your worth for you
to start to understand that yougot worth.
But anyway, I ain't gonna takeup y'all morning too much, man.

(10:19):
But yeah, there's too manythings, there's too many people
in this world.
Like friends, and I know youcan't choose your family, but
sometimes your fan your friendsand friends' family can become
your family.
And sometimes your friends thatyou think are your best friends

(10:42):
are your easiest enemy.
Choose every step like you'replaying chess, not checkers.
Checkers, you're just moving toyou know, try to eliminate as
you go.
Chess, you have to be a littlebit more strategic.

(11:03):
And with chess, you have to mapout your moves.
So I guess that's what I'mtrying to say, right?
Map out your moves as you go onthrough your day.
