What's in it for the dead? While we often focus on what we gain from connecting with the spirit world, the spirits themselves have their own fascinating motivations for working with us.

I went to a few practicesessions last night Everett the
student over here and I receivedvery similar messages from
Spirit across two differentpeople in two different practice
circles last night and I wantto talk about what they said,
because they were talking aboutwhat Spirit's perspective is in

mediumship reading.
So here we go.
We're going to talk about whatdoes spirit get out of working
with us in the spirit world?
And before I go into the weedsof that entire dialogue, I
wanted to take a moment tointroduce you to my dead bell.
I know that you've been hearingthis thing ding over and over
again in the background of thesepodcasts, maybe in my social
media videos.
This is a dead bell.

It essentially looks like abell, hot bell and or a
restaurant bell and it is aparanormal device that
essentially you charge, becausespirit needs electricity to work
.
You charge this device andspirit will come through and
just ring the bell on its own.
So whenever you hear, I'm goingto press it myself.
That ding in the background andapologies if that's really loud

that is spirit coming throughand I've taken this as a
confirmation, a sign of yes, amic drop from spirit, letting
them know, letting me know topay attention and or this is a
really important thing, and theyagree with it.
So I'm going to turn it on now,ding.
And so let's do that.

And last night, in a reading Igave somebody, the spirit was
literally just hitting the bellthe whole time and I was like
this guy loves this bell and hejust kept digging it and digging

it and digging it, and theperson I was reading she ended
up having paranormal devices too.
So it was really cool.
So that is my dead bell.
It is wicked, freaking cool.

Okay, so back to the topic athand, thank you.

Spirit, oh goodness, it's likea train today.
Back to the topic at hand.
Oh my goodness, what doesspirit get out of working with
us in this metaphysical world?
So I'm talking mediumship, I'mtalking ancestral healing, I'm
talking soul alignment, orAkashic Records readings, and
general healing of us as souls.
And the two messages I receivedlast night are and I'm going to

go back to my notes that I hadfrom yesterday are that it's a
pleasure to work with us and Ireally wanted to hone in and go
really deep on what does thatmean?
Like, what does that reallymean in a tale?
And I want to dissect it.
So I'm going to ask my departedloved ones to join me for this
(03:20):
reading today and to help memaybe interview them a little
bit and get their perspective onthis topic as I go through my
quick chicken scratch of what Iwant to cover today.
So, first of all, I do want tosay that my perspective in
general has always been thatspirit does not need to do this.
(03:44):
Okay, I've they've pretty muchshowed up every single reading
I've ever had, which isinteresting unto itself, but
they have all the time in theworld, because time doesn't
exist in the universe.
They have all the space in theworld, so they can be anywhere
at any time.
So I know that participating inreadings thank you Spirit is of
(04:07):
no burden to them.
And so I do want to start withthat, because I think it's
really important to call thatout, because I have a lot of
clients that come to me saying Idon't want to bother them.
They're probably busy in theSpirit world.
Okay, chill it down.
I'm going to turn thesensitivity down a little bit.
They are here because they arealways around and you can't stop
(04:30):
me.
I heard them say oh, I think Iknow who that one is.
Um, but it is of no burden tothem to participate in these
activities.
So when I say it's of no burden, I agree, I don't want to
(04:50):
bother them either, but at thesame time, I think that it's at
least neutral, if not positive,for them to participate with us.
So let's go into that because,again, they can be anywhere at
any time.
They have no time, they haveunlimited energy.
They're like vampires on theother side.
So it makes sense that they'relike probably maybe I don't know
bored, we'll get that, we'llget to that and want to come and
(05:13):
join and help us.
Probably bored is not the rightword here, but I do want to
highlight the lack of a burdenhere.
So let's start with mediumshipreadings, because I think this
is a really cool space that Iwant to go into.
Ancestral readings or healingyour soul, healing your path,
etc.
Because I think that they trulyenjoy overall being of service

to us here in the physical world.
In the way that, you know,grandparents love helping
toddlers out.
It's kind of my perspectivewith this, because I think that
they do want to help us.
They do want to help us growand move through our burdens,
move through our patterns thatdon't serve us, and I truly
(05:57):
think that we are all one teamthat is trying to help each
other grow, become our bestselves and learn our soul's
lessons as soon as possible, andso, from my perspective, I
truly would agree that theywould enjoy being of service and
helping us evolve our soul andovercome obstacles here in the
physical world.
(06:18):
Now, that being said, what dothey get out of it?
Right?
And it was really interestingto receive two of these readings
last night that gave a littlebit of that perspective that
they do truly enjoy working withus.
They do truly enjoy the puzzlethat is mediumship on their end,
(06:40):
because, if you think about itfrom their perspective and
they're showing me in my headthey essentially have to kind of
reach through this veil andconnect with us in the physical
world, which is something thatnot all spirits or souls have
the opportunity to do.
This is a challenge for them.
They have to learn the languagejust as much as we learn the
language, and I know thateveryone says spirit is
(07:02):
unlimited in knowledge.
And they know all and they seeall.
But I don't know if I've alwaysagreed with that, because if we
know all and see all, wouldn'twe already know all of our
soul's lessons?
Why the heck are we herelearning and growing Right?
And so I think we may know orsee all, but we still have to
experience, we still have tolearn, we still have to go
(07:23):
through the motions to reallyunderstand what a lot of these
lessons look like or feel like,because, as we know, they don't
always turn out the way that weexpect them to right.
We might have plan A, and thenplan B, c and D come along in
the middle of trying toaccomplish plan A and we get off
track.
And this is the burden that weface as souls in our journey,
because nothing is a linear A toB.
(07:44):
There's always side quests andthings that we need to do or
learn along the way toaccomplish A or accomplish B.
I don't know what my letters are, so I truly think that souls
get involved with us in themediumship space to expand their
own horizons and learning onthe other side.
(08:05):
So I'm going to give thisperspective because here in the
physical world, we are learningif you're a medium or if you're
connecting to spirit.
We are learning how to engagewith the spirit world.
We're learning how to use ourclairs, how to read, how to
trust our intuition, how to goinward, how to quiet right, how
to create that energeticconnection with souls, either
here in the physical world or inthe spirit world.
(08:27):
What makes you think that theyaren't trying to do the exact
same on the other side?
Right, they are also havingthat experience of trying to
learn, trying to connect, tryingto do the exact same on the
other side, right, they are alsohaving that experience of
trying to learn, trying toconnect, trying to manipulate
the energy.
So they send you signs andsymbols, right, so that they can
treat us like marionette dolls,like the podcast the other day,
and so I truly think that theyget involved with us to expand
(08:51):
their own horizons and growth inthe spirit world in a way that
maybe I don't fully understand.
So that's kind of one.
And then, in terms of number two, for mediums in particular, I
do think that your family, yourteam, thoroughly enjoys working
with you and teaching you all ofthese different modalities.
(09:13):
So if you think that they justcome in with like a drink in
hand, with an umbrella in it andare here to party every single
time, no, I mean, I trulybelieve that they are going and
doing the research.
They are watching other mediumswork, they're watching how you
work, because I can tell youthat my team throws in new
things my way all the time,things that I don't think I have
(09:36):
personally seen.
It happened to a lot of othermediums.
So, to give you an example,last night I felt two souls come
in with one of the women I wasreading, and one of them
literally described the woman Iwas sitting in front of and I
could see her as if she was asoul on the other side departed
and everything I said about hershe's like that's me, you're
(09:58):
describing me and God bless her.
I love her, I want to be herbest friend forever.
She's from Australia and she'slovely and I'm obsessed with her
.
And she's a senior citizen.
I'm obsessed with her.
Okay, I love oldies, let mejust say it that way.
So she's, she's the sweetestlady and there's no judgment in
(10:19):
her saying you're reading me,that's, that's me.
Well, she's got, she's got the,the, uh, you the Australian
accent.
I will not butcher that one forall of you, but it was really
interesting Cause I'm like whyon earth are they showing you?
I still don't know.
I have to figure this out, butI don't know.
Like, maybe this is going to bea new tool that I use in very
large developments ordevelopment circles to come, or
(10:41):
demonstrations where I'm goingto.
They're going to show me whoI'm going to connect with and
then I go and connect with them.
I don't know, I don't know whatthis is.
If anyone else has experiencedthat, let me know.
But my team consistently likesto throw me for a loop so that I
can innovate and teach and dothings very differently.
My spirits are my teachers,right, my team are my teachers,
(11:03):
so they're not sitting aroundthere lazily like suntanning on
the other side although I thinkmy mother-in-law is but the rest
of them are hard at work,studying, trying to figure out
how they can help me in thisjourney, because I think they
get as much enjoyment out oflearning and teaching that I do
in receiving that learning andthat teaching from all of them.
(11:25):
Ding the bell's on fire today.
I just had to introduce it andthen it won't stop.
Okay so in terms of it won'tstop.
Okay so in terms of mediumship.
The other topic I wanted tobring in really quickly and
there's no coincidence aboutthis because on Monday night in
my mediumship mastermind, spirittold me you're going to
(11:48):
practice, and then enough peopleshowed up that I didn't get the
opportunity to practice in myown circle.
So I love to practice with mystudents in my mediumship
mastermind circle.
Sometimes the numbers are evenand I don't need to practice,
right?
But Spirit told me in advancethat I'm going to practice.
So I'm sitting there justwaiting in the in the main lobby
of Zoom and seeing if anyone isgoing to hop on, maybe late or
(12:10):
anything like that.
No one did, and then Spirit waslike knocking on my head and
they're like so are you going topractice?
And I said, fine, okay, so I'llpull in random spirits and read
them, even though there's novalidation, I don't know who
these souls are, et cetera.
Okay, and I'm working as everon names, hoping I'm really
(12:31):
close on that, and I pull in anUncle Fabian, fabio Fabian, I
pull in a friend, joey, and Ipull in a Grandma Lucy.
Okay, and it wasn't obviously anin-depth reading because I
didn't have a sitter, so I wasmainly working on the evidence
of the things that are coming in.
What am I getting?
Trying to get very specificevidence, and so I kind of call
(12:53):
this the revolving door exercise, where I will just bring
spirits that I don't know in andI will read them, even though I
can't really validate anythingthat they're telling me in the
moment, but it might comethrough later on.
Now here is where spiritanswered that for me last night
in my reading, because one ofthe women that read me in a
(13:16):
practice circle, mind you, toldme that there are spirits that
work with me, that don't know meand can't be placed, and they
love working with me and comingto me because they don't have
another outlet to practicemediumship, because their loved
ones here in the physical worldare not into mediumship, they
(13:39):
don't believe in it.
So you have these souls on theother side that are unable to
connect via mediumship to theirdeparted loved ones and she's
like they're a little sad aboutthat.
They really wish they couldhave the connection that you
have with your family and yourdeparted loved ones really wish
they could have the connectionthat you have with your family
and your departed loved ones.
And so when we're pulling inthese randos, as I call them,
(13:59):
the random souls that cannot bediscerned or assigned to anyone,
that I know they love workingwith us because they wouldn't
have the opportunity tootherwise.
Now, isn't that interesting?
And isn't it so interestingthat I pulled three of them the
night before and I sent a noteout to my mediumship mastermind
(14:22):
group and I was like, hey, I'mjust going to throw it out here
I don't think this is for any ofyou, but I'm going to toss it
out here that I got these threepeople and one of them maybe can
take it I'll chat with herlater this week but the rest of
them don't.
It didn't land.
And I was like, well, it makessense.
I felt like they were randomsouls, and doesn't that explain
(14:46):
it the next night that they wererandom souls that just wanted
the opportunity to work and trymediumship with me.
So if you are a medium and youhave this revolving door
exercise and it drives youfreaking batty because you can't
validate the information, Ijust want to say, like I
understand, but also you'rebeing of service to spirit, who
doesn't have the opportunity todo this otherwise, and that they
appreciate these revolving doorexercises so much.
(15:08):
So isn't that so cool?
I loved it.
Spirit never, ever ceases tosurprise me or amaze me in any
of these things.
Okay, so the other thing that Iwanted to go through is the
ancestral or soul work that wedo as souls.
(15:29):
So I know for a fact my motheris going to come back to haunt
me, for example.
Okay, I talk about her everyepisode.
I'm so sorry she is going tohaunt me, though, because I
constantly give her shit on thispodcast and everywhere else,
right?
I'm going to be honest with you.
My grand grandmother's I'mgoing to say it they were both
(15:50):
kind of bitches, like.
The narcissism in my family didnot originate with my mother.
It went back on both sides ofmy family, right?
So when we're talking aboutancestral healing.
It's always really interestingto me because I come from this
long line of not the most stableof women and who were not
(16:12):
motherly and did not necessarilycare about anyone but
themselves or what other peoplethought of them.
Ok, so there we go, dingAccurate is what they're telling
me in my head, and so wheneveryone tells me to connect to
my grandmother, I just startlaughing and I'm like no offense
, archangel Gabriel is my guide,right?
(16:35):
I don't need that.
No offense, I'm not going tochoose my toxic grandmother over
Archangel Gabriel.
It's just not going to happen.
I'm sorry it's not, so thatcracks me up, but it's so
interesting to me doing thisancestral healing and doing this
work.
Excuse me, because here's whereI'm going to get into.
(16:58):
Like a little bit of a flawabout me and I have many, I'm
not afraid to say that is thatwhen I was doing my healing, I
felt like I had to separate whoI was and my healing journey
from my ancestors, because Ineeded to draw the line, create
a giant boundary between me andthe toxic energy of my family
(17:23):
and my lineage, because I was nolonger going to continue their
patterns, their behaviors, theirbeliefs, because I did not want
to hand it down to my kids.
So if you heard the readingsthat I got on the very beginning
of my metaphysical journey, oreven before I found out I was a
medium the words the mediums orthese practitioners would use
(17:44):
when you built a wall, youprotected your family, you've
cut them off, and so even theverbiage that I received in this
readings echoed the sentimentthat I felt about I'm not
engaging with them or theirenergy anymore.
The Good Witch of the Northeast, as this ancestral healer, I'm
(18:11):
slowly this is my own distrustcoming to the conclusion that it
doesn't need to be the way thatI did it.
Now, in the way that I did it,I'm proud of myself in doing it.
I know it wasn't easy toessentially rebuild my
foundation all by myself, eraseall of the family lines and,
kind of like, pull out all ofthese cords with the lineage and
(18:33):
say no more, take it back.
And so I essentially in mysolitude, you think they said
built and healed myself so thatI could be my best self right,
so that I could fully trustmyself and be independent in my
own healing and growth and getto essentially where I am today,
(18:56):
which is why I have thestrength tarot card tattooed on
my left thigh is because Ineeded that inner strength to do
this myself and to not lean onsystems that I knew that were
toxic, that were going to bedetrimental to my healing.
I knew that were toxic, thatwere going to be detrimental to
my healing.
Enter ancestral healing, right,which is really interesting
(19:22):
because knowing what I know nowand being able to connect as a
medium I connect to departedloved ones all the time that
made bad decisions, that werenot good people, that were toxic
, that were narcissistic, andthey always come through with
apologies.
They always come through of Ididn't know any better.
I did the best with what Icould.
(19:44):
Enter other podcasts I talkedabout recently as well, correct,
and so I'm now coming from thatperspective of their owning
their journey and how thatimpacted you.
But what I never considered ishow much they want to help you
on your journey and I think thisis the recent revelation Like I
(20:06):
think I knew it, but I think Ipushed it away because of my own
history and bias right thatthey are there to help you grow
and change and evolve, and a lotof what we do when we look at
ancestral healing is we lookback and we shun them right and
we say no more, I don't want tobe a part of you.
I mean, I know metaphysicalpractitioners that still won't
talk to their departed family.
(20:27):
That's really toxic.
I mean, honest to God, presentcompany included, right Up until
recently, and so they wantnothing to do with these
lineages.
And I'm here to tell you whothey were in this life, and I've
said this to clients myselfover and over again who they
were in this life is not whothey were as souls, who they are
as souls.
And I want you to know thatthose souls, a lot of them, come
(20:51):
through because they're ashamedof who they were and what they
were in this lifetime.
They take responsibility for it.
They understand, you know thatwas a life path, absolutely, but
they're more ashamed of theimpact it made on you and made
it your soul's journey moredifficult than it needed to be.
And so, in order to, I'm goingto say quote, unquote, right,
(21:13):
wrongs, and again, I don't thinkthere's any accidents.
So this is my weird gray spaceof we walk in knowing what's
going to happen, but also theystill want to help you knowing
what happened.
It's I'm sorry, it's a mess.
I'm constantly.
I'm constantly like goingagainst myself with a lot of
(21:33):
these things.
But, either way, they probablyknow that you are going to
overcome the toxicity and thebehaviors that you come from,
much like myself, and they justwanna step in and help me do
that, because they know I'mgonna be able to do that and
they wanna be able to help me asmuch as they can, given that
(21:53):
they cause some of that painthat I'm about to overcome.
And so they know their faults,they know their failures, they
know what journey you're on andthey want to help right against
some of those wrongs thatthey've instilled or placed on
you either directly orindirectly, either consciously
or subconsciously, because theydo come from loving energy,
(22:15):
helpful energy, and they do wantwhat's best for you at the end
of the day, right, their soulsdo, and isn't that just
interesting?
And so I don't think that weneed to draw the line of us
versus them in this ancestralhealing space, and I think that
(22:40):
our ancestors are rooting us onin this journey of becoming and
improving the family line.
Now enter this reallyinteresting reading I did the
other day.
I was waiting for Spirit toreturn.
They dropped it in earlier andI was waiting for them to bring
it back.
Enter this really odd reading Ihad the other day with somebody
(23:02):
, I don't remember who.
At this point it's all a littlebit of a mess, which is great,
because then I'm not biased whenI sit in front of you and don't
remember your departed lovedones.
And I sit in front of you anddon't remember your departed
loved ones, but we were talkingabout the similar journey to
(23:23):
what I just said.
Okay, similar journey to me.
This woman who comes from a verytoxic, narcissistic family,
mother guilts, blames everythingon their daughter, and I'm
talking to the daughter.
The daughter is my client andwhat is so interesting about
this story is the conversationof.
(23:49):
This is really.
This is a lot.
Okay, all right, hang on asecond.
This is a lot.
Let me.
I'm going to ask spirit to helpme tell this story, because
it's so complex and deep andbeautiful, but also not very
long.
(24:17):
This spiritual team came in totell my client, essentially,
that her mother entered thislifetime knowing that she would
not be able to overcome thetoxic family that she had
belonged to, knowing that shewould perpetuate the negativity,
the guilt, the toxicity to herdaughter, the guilt, the
toxicity to her daughter, butthat would be a catalyst that
(24:38):
would help her daughter change,and the way that she would
approach it as a mom wouldencourage her daughter to be
fiercely independent, to followher own path, to not believe the
lies and fallacies and guiltthat her mother was placing on
her.
So her mother opted toessentially be the devil in her
life, knowing and sacrificingherself so that I know it's such
(25:00):
a term sacrificing herself, sothat the daughter could be
triggered enough to heal herself, to heal her lineage, and not
look back and repeat the samepatterns that had been enmeshed
in the family for decades,generations.
(25:21):
And so I want you to thinkabout that and possibly reframe
what you think you know aboutyour ancestors on the other side
, because some of them came inready for battle and were not
able to overcome what they hopedthey could do in this lifetime.
(25:43):
Thank you, free Will.
Others have purposelysacrificed themselves and come
into your life knowing that itwould cause you pain, but
ultimately it was for thegreater good of you and your
journey here in this physicalworld.
It was for the greater good ofyou and your journey here in
(26:03):
this physical world, and so thisis what I mean when I say they
are rooting you on is that theywant you to live your best life,
even if that means you're doingit by cutting them off, by
getting rid of them, bydisowning them, by not talking
to them in the spirit world,because they understand and they
don't take it personally if youdon't.
By not talking to them in thespirit world, because they
understand and they don't takeit personally if you don't want
(26:24):
to talk to them, but ultimatelyknow that everything in the
spirit world is love, it is ofservice, it is growth and change
, and evolution is really thebig word I want to say.
It's the soul's evolution onthe other side that really
drives them, and so you bet yourass that they fucking love
(26:46):
working with us in themediumship space because they
will take any opportunity theycan get to help you, to help me,
to help any of us grow into thenext evolution of our soul.
Damn, right, damn.

So with that, I'm going tothank my amazing team, my
departed loved ones, myancestors, my guides for
literally always being there.
And I have to tell you my UncleRoger he's just given up showing
(27:30):
up the way that he was in thephysical world.
He repeatedly comes through theway that he comes through in my
head because I don't think heliked how he looked when he was
a little vain, when he wasgetting closer to passing, and
so he ends up showing up likethis, like 30, 40 year old hot
rod and like a leather jacketwith like grease style slick
(27:53):
back hair.
And so now it cracks me up when, when he so at least he's
having fun with this he's likeno, I'm not showing up as him
anymore, I don't like lookinglike him.
So now he shows up as this guythat looks like he should be on
the New Jersey shore In all myreadings and I just laugh and I
have to take it because I knowwho's trying to come through.

So so, yeah, so they love it,they absolutely love it, and so
that my students will learn, Iknow that will happen, that's
(28:46):
only a matter of time.

It essentially looks like abell, hot bell and or a
restaurant bell and it is aparanormal device that
essentially you charge, becausespirit needs electricity to work

You charge this device andspirit will come through and
just ring the bell on its own.

that is spirit coming throughand I've taken this as a
confirmation, a sign of yes, amic drop from spirit, letting
them know, letting me know topay attention and or this is a
really important thing, and theyagree with it.

it and digging it, and theperson I was reading she ended
up having paranormal devices too.
So it was really cool.
So that is my dead bell.
It is wicked, freaking cool.

Spirit, oh goodness, it's likea train today.
Back to the topic at hand.
Oh my goodness, what doesspirit get out of working with
us in this metaphysical world?
So I'm talking mediumship, I'mtalking ancestral healing, I'm
talking soul alignment, orAkashic Records readings, and
general healing of us as souls.
And the two messages I receivedlast night are and I'm going to
(02:58):
go back to my notes that I hadfrom yesterday are that it's a
pleasure to work with us and Ireally wanted to hone in and go
really deep on what does thatmean?
Like, what does that reallymean in a tale?
And I want to dissect it.
So I'm going to ask my departedloved ones to join me for this
(03:20):
reading today and to help memaybe interview them a little
bit and get their perspective onthis topic as I go through my
quick chicken scratch of what Iwant to cover today.
So, first of all, I do want tosay that my perspective in
general has always been thatspirit does not need to do this.
(03:44):
Okay, I've they've pretty muchshowed up every single reading
I've ever had, which isinteresting unto itself, but
they have all the time in theworld, because time doesn't
exist in the universe.
They have all the space in theworld, so they can be anywhere
at any time.
So I know that participating inreadings thank you Spirit is of
(04:07):
no burden to them.
And so I do want to start withthat, because I think it's
really important to call thatout, because I have a lot of
clients that come to me saying Idon't want to bother them.
They're probably busy in theSpirit world.
Okay, chill it down.
I'm going to turn thesensitivity down a little bit.
They are here because they arealways around and you can't stop
(04:30):
me.
I heard them say oh, I think Iknow who that one is.
Um, but it is of no burden tothem to participate in these
activities.
So when I say it's of no burden, I agree, I don't want to
(04:50):
bother them either, but at thesame time, I think that it's at
least neutral, if not positive,for them to participate with us.
So let's go into that because,again, they can be anywhere at
any time.
They have no time, they haveunlimited energy.
They're like vampires on theother side.
So it makes sense that they'relike probably maybe I don't know
bored, we'll get that, we'llget to that and want to come and
(05:13):
join and help us.
Probably bored is not the rightword here, but I do want to
highlight the lack of a burdenhere.
So let's start with mediumshipreadings, because I think this
is a really cool space that Iwant to go into.
Ancestral readings or healingyour soul, healing your path,
etc.
Because I think that they trulyenjoy overall being of service
(05:37):
to us here in the physical world.
In the way that, you know,grandparents love helping
toddlers out.
It's kind of my perspectivewith this, because I think that
they do want to help us.
They do want to help us growand move through our burdens,
move through our patterns thatdon't serve us, and I truly
(05:57):
think that we are all one teamthat is trying to help each
other grow, become our bestselves and learn our soul's
lessons as soon as possible, andso, from my perspective, I
truly would agree that theywould enjoy being of service and
helping us evolve our soul andovercome obstacles here in the
physical world.
(06:18):
Now, that being said, what dothey get out of it?
Right?
And it was really interestingto receive two of these readings
last night that gave a littlebit of that perspective that
they do truly enjoy working withus.
They do truly enjoy the puzzlethat is mediumship on their end,
(06:40):
because, if you think about itfrom their perspective and
they're showing me in my headthey essentially have to kind of
reach through this veil andconnect with us in the physical
world, which is something thatnot all spirits or souls have
the opportunity to do.
This is a challenge for them.
They have to learn the languagejust as much as we learn the
language, and I know thateveryone says spirit is
(07:02):
unlimited in knowledge.
And they know all and they seeall.
But I don't know if I've alwaysagreed with that, because if we
know all and see all, wouldn'twe already know all of our
soul's lessons?
Why the heck are we herelearning and growing Right?
And so I think we may know orsee all, but we still have to
experience, we still have tolearn, we still have to go
(07:23):
through the motions to reallyunderstand what a lot of these
lessons look like or feel like,because, as we know, they don't
always turn out the way that weexpect them to right.
We might have plan A, and thenplan B, c and D come along in
the middle of trying toaccomplish plan A and we get off
track.
And this is the burden that weface as souls in our journey,
because nothing is a linear A toB.
(07:44):
There's always side quests andthings that we need to do or
learn along the way toaccomplish A or accomplish B.
I don't know what my letters are, so I truly think that souls
get involved with us in themediumship space to expand their
own horizons and learning onthe other side.
(08:05):
So I'm going to give thisperspective because here in the
physical world, we are learningif you're a medium or if you're
connecting to spirit.
We are learning how to engagewith the spirit world.
We're learning how to use ourclairs, how to read, how to
trust our intuition, how to goinward, how to quiet right, how
to create that energeticconnection with souls, either
here in the physical world or inthe spirit world.
(08:27):
What makes you think that theyaren't trying to do the exact
same on the other side?
Right, they are also havingthat experience of trying to
learn, trying to connect, tryingto do the exact same on the
other side, right, they are alsohaving that experience of
trying to learn, trying toconnect, trying to manipulate
the energy.
So they send you signs andsymbols, right, so that they can
treat us like marionette dolls,like the podcast the other day,
and so I truly think that theyget involved with us to expand
(08:51):
their own horizons and growth inthe spirit world in a way that
maybe I don't fully understand.
So that's kind of one.
And then, in terms of number two, for mediums in particular, I
do think that your family, yourteam, thoroughly enjoys working
with you and teaching you all ofthese different modalities.
(09:13):
So if you think that they justcome in with like a drink in
hand, with an umbrella in it andare here to party every single
time, no, I mean, I trulybelieve that they are going and
doing the research.
They are watching other mediumswork, they're watching how you
work, because I can tell youthat my team throws in new
things my way all the time,things that I don't think I have
(09:36):
personally seen.
It happened to a lot of othermediums.
So, to give you an example,last night I felt two souls come
in with one of the women I wasreading, and one of them
literally described the woman Iwas sitting in front of and I
could see her as if she was asoul on the other side departed
and everything I said about hershe's like that's me, you're
(09:58):
describing me and God bless her.
I love her, I want to be herbest friend forever.
She's from Australia and she'slovely and I'm obsessed with her
.
And she's a senior citizen.
I'm obsessed with her.
Okay, I love oldies, let mejust say it that way.
So she's, she's the sweetestlady and there's no judgment in
(10:19):
her saying you're reading me,that's, that's me.
Well, she's got, she's got the,the, uh, you the Australian
accent.
I will not butcher that one forall of you, but it was really
interesting Cause I'm like whyon earth are they showing you?
I still don't know.
I have to figure this out, butI don't know.
Like, maybe this is going to bea new tool that I use in very
large developments ordevelopment circles to come, or
(10:41):
demonstrations where I'm goingto.
They're going to show me whoI'm going to connect with and
then I go and connect with them.
I don't know, I don't know whatthis is.
If anyone else has experiencedthat, let me know.
But my team consistently likesto throw me for a loop so that I
can innovate and teach and dothings very differently.
My spirits are my teachers,right, my team are my teachers,
(11:03):
so they're not sitting aroundthere lazily like suntanning on
the other side although I thinkmy mother-in-law is but the rest
of them are hard at work,studying, trying to figure out
how they can help me in thisjourney, because I think they
get as much enjoyment out oflearning and teaching that I do
in receiving that learning andthat teaching from all of them.
(11:25):
Ding the bell's on fire today.
I just had to introduce it andthen it won't stop.
Okay so in terms of it won'tstop.
Okay so in terms of mediumship.
The other topic I wanted tobring in really quickly and
there's no coincidence aboutthis because on Monday night in
my mediumship mastermind, spirittold me you're going to
(11:48):
practice, and then enough peopleshowed up that I didn't get the
opportunity to practice in myown circle.
So I love to practice with mystudents in my mediumship
mastermind circle.
Sometimes the numbers are evenand I don't need to practice,
right?
But Spirit told me in advancethat I'm going to practice.
So I'm sitting there justwaiting in the in the main lobby
of Zoom and seeing if anyone isgoing to hop on, maybe late or
(12:10):
anything like that.
No one did, and then Spirit waslike knocking on my head and
they're like so are you going topractice?
And I said, fine, okay, so I'llpull in random spirits and read
them, even though there's novalidation, I don't know who
these souls are, et cetera.
Okay, and I'm working as everon names, hoping I'm really
(12:31):
close on that, and I pull in anUncle Fabian, fabio Fabian, I
pull in a friend, joey, and Ipull in a Grandma Lucy.
Okay, and it wasn't obviously anin-depth reading because I
didn't have a sitter, so I wasmainly working on the evidence
of the things that are coming in.
What am I getting?
Trying to get very specificevidence, and so I kind of call
(12:53):
this the revolving door exercise, where I will just bring
spirits that I don't know in andI will read them, even though I
can't really validate anythingthat they're telling me in the
moment, but it might comethrough later on.
Now here is where spiritanswered that for me last night
in my reading, because one ofthe women that read me in a
(13:16):
practice circle, mind you, toldme that there are spirits that
work with me, that don't know meand can't be placed, and they
love working with me and comingto me because they don't have
another outlet to practicemediumship, because their loved
ones here in the physical worldare not into mediumship, they
(13:39):
don't believe in it.
So you have these souls on theother side that are unable to
connect via mediumship to theirdeparted loved ones and she's
like they're a little sad aboutthat.
They really wish they couldhave the connection that you
have with your family and yourdeparted loved ones really wish
they could have the connectionthat you have with your family
and your departed loved ones.
And so when we're pulling inthese randos, as I call them,
(13:59):
the random souls that cannot bediscerned or assigned to anyone,
that I know they love workingwith us because they wouldn't
have the opportunity tootherwise.
Now, isn't that interesting?
And isn't it so interestingthat I pulled three of them the
night before and I sent a noteout to my mediumship mastermind
(14:22):
group and I was like, hey, I'mjust going to throw it out here
I don't think this is for any ofyou, but I'm going to toss it
out here that I got these threepeople and one of them maybe can
take it I'll chat with herlater this week but the rest of
them don't.
It didn't land.
And I was like, well, it makessense.
I felt like they were randomsouls, and doesn't that explain
(14:46):
it the next night that they wererandom souls that just wanted
the opportunity to work and trymediumship with me.
So if you are a medium and youhave this revolving door
exercise and it drives youfreaking batty because you can't
validate the information, Ijust want to say, like I
understand, but also you'rebeing of service to spirit, who
doesn't have the opportunity todo this otherwise, and that they
appreciate these revolving doorexercises so much.
(15:08):
So isn't that so cool?
I loved it.
Spirit never, ever ceases tosurprise me or amaze me in any
of these things.
Okay, so the other thing that Iwanted to go through is the
ancestral or soul work that wedo as souls.
(15:29):
So I know for a fact my motheris going to come back to haunt
me, for example.
Okay, I talk about her everyepisode.
I'm so sorry she is going tohaunt me, though, because I
constantly give her shit on thispodcast and everywhere else,
right?
I'm going to be honest with you.
My grand grandmother's I'mgoing to say it they were both
(15:50):
kind of bitches, like.
The narcissism in my family didnot originate with my mother.
It went back on both sides ofmy family, right?
So when we're talking aboutancestral healing.
It's always really interestingto me because I come from this
long line of not the most stableof women and who were not
(16:12):
motherly and did not necessarilycare about anyone but
themselves or what other peoplethought of them.
Ok, so there we go, dingAccurate is what they're telling
me in my head, and so wheneveryone tells me to connect to
my grandmother, I just startlaughing and I'm like no offense
, archangel Gabriel is my guide,right?
(16:35):
I don't need that.
No offense, I'm not going tochoose my toxic grandmother over
Archangel Gabriel.
It's just not going to happen.
I'm sorry it's not, so thatcracks me up, but it's so
interesting to me doing thisancestral healing and doing this
work.
Excuse me, because here's whereI'm going to get into.
(16:58):
Like a little bit of a flawabout me and I have many, I'm
not afraid to say that is thatwhen I was doing my healing, I
felt like I had to separate whoI was and my healing journey
from my ancestors, because Ineeded to draw the line, create
a giant boundary between me andthe toxic energy of my family
(17:23):
and my lineage, because I was nolonger going to continue their
patterns, their behaviors, theirbeliefs, because I did not want
to hand it down to my kids.
So if you heard the readingsthat I got on the very beginning
of my metaphysical journey, oreven before I found out I was a
medium the words the mediums orthese practitioners would use
(17:44):
when you built a wall, youprotected your family, you've
cut them off, and so even theverbiage that I received in this
readings echoed the sentimentthat I felt about I'm not
engaging with them or theirenergy anymore.
The Good Witch of the Northeast, as this ancestral healer, I'm
(18:11):
slowly this is my own distrustcoming to the conclusion that it
doesn't need to be the way thatI did it.
Now, in the way that I did it,I'm proud of myself in doing it.
I know it wasn't easy toessentially rebuild my
foundation all by myself, eraseall of the family lines and,
kind of like, pull out all ofthese cords with the lineage and
(18:33):
say no more, take it back.
And so I essentially in mysolitude, you think they said
built and healed myself so thatI could be my best self right,
so that I could fully trustmyself and be independent in my
own healing and growth and getto essentially where I am today,
(18:56):
which is why I have thestrength tarot card tattooed on
my left thigh is because Ineeded that inner strength to do
this myself and to not lean onsystems that I knew that were
toxic, that were going to bedetrimental to my healing.
I knew that were toxic, thatwere going to be detrimental to
my healing.
Enter ancestral healing, right,which is really interesting
(19:22):
because knowing what I know nowand being able to connect as a
medium I connect to departedloved ones all the time that
made bad decisions, that werenot good people, that were toxic
, that were narcissistic, andthey always come through with
apologies.
They always come through of Ididn't know any better.
I did the best with what Icould.
(19:44):
Enter other podcasts I talkedabout recently as well, correct,
and so I'm now coming from thatperspective of their owning
their journey and how thatimpacted you.
But what I never considered ishow much they want to help you
on your journey and I think thisis the recent revelation Like I
(20:06):
think I knew it, but I think Ipushed it away because of my own
history and bias right thatthey are there to help you grow
and change and evolve, and a lotof what we do when we look at
ancestral healing is we lookback and we shun them right and
we say no more, I don't want tobe a part of you.
I mean, I know metaphysicalpractitioners that still won't
talk to their departed family.
(20:27):
That's really toxic.
I mean, honest to God, presentcompany included, right Up until
recently, and so they wantnothing to do with these
lineages.
And I'm here to tell you whothey were in this life, and I've
said this to clients myselfover and over again who they
were in this life is not whothey were as souls, who they are
as souls.
And I want you to know thatthose souls, a lot of them, come
(20:51):
through because they're ashamedof who they were and what they
were in this lifetime.
They take responsibility for it.
They understand, you know thatwas a life path, absolutely, but
they're more ashamed of theimpact it made on you and made
it your soul's journey moredifficult than it needed to be.
And so, in order to, I'm goingto say quote, unquote, right,
(21:13):
wrongs, and again, I don't thinkthere's any accidents.
So this is my weird gray spaceof we walk in knowing what's
going to happen, but also theystill want to help you knowing
what happened.
It's I'm sorry, it's a mess.
I'm constantly.
I'm constantly like goingagainst myself with a lot of
(21:33):
these things.
But, either way, they probablyknow that you are going to
overcome the toxicity and thebehaviors that you come from,
much like myself, and they justwanna step in and help me do
that, because they know I'mgonna be able to do that and
they wanna be able to help me asmuch as they can, given that
(21:53):
they cause some of that painthat I'm about to overcome.
And so they know their faults,they know their failures, they
know what journey you're on andthey want to help right against
some of those wrongs thatthey've instilled or placed on
you either directly orindirectly, either consciously
or subconsciously, because theydo come from loving energy,
(22:15):
helpful energy, and they do wantwhat's best for you at the end
of the day, right, their soulsdo, and isn't that just
interesting?
And so I don't think that weneed to draw the line of us
versus them in this ancestralhealing space, and I think that
(22:40):
our ancestors are rooting us onin this journey of becoming and
improving the family line.
Now enter this reallyinteresting reading I did the
other day.
I was waiting for Spirit toreturn.
They dropped it in earlier andI was waiting for them to bring
it back.
Enter this really odd reading Ihad the other day with somebody
(23:02):
, I don't remember who.
At this point it's all a littlebit of a mess, which is great,
because then I'm not biased whenI sit in front of you and don't
remember your departed lovedones.
And I sit in front of you anddon't remember your departed
loved ones, but we were talkingabout the similar journey to
(23:23):
what I just said.
Okay, similar journey to me.
This woman who comes from a verytoxic, narcissistic family,
mother guilts, blames everythingon their daughter, and I'm
talking to the daughter.
The daughter is my client andwhat is so interesting about
this story is the conversationof.
(23:49):
This is really.
This is a lot.
Okay, all right, hang on asecond.
This is a lot.
Let me.
I'm going to ask spirit to helpme tell this story, because
it's so complex and deep andbeautiful, but also not very
long.
(24:17):
This spiritual team came in totell my client, essentially,
that her mother entered thislifetime knowing that she would
not be able to overcome thetoxic family that she had
belonged to, knowing that shewould perpetuate the negativity,
the guilt, the toxicity to herdaughter, the guilt, the
toxicity to her daughter, butthat would be a catalyst that
(24:38):
would help her daughter change,and the way that she would
approach it as a mom wouldencourage her daughter to be
fiercely independent, to followher own path, to not believe the
lies and fallacies and guiltthat her mother was placing on
her.
So her mother opted toessentially be the devil in her
life, knowing and sacrificingherself so that I know it's such
(25:00):
a term sacrificing herself, sothat the daughter could be
triggered enough to heal herself, to heal her lineage, and not
look back and repeat the samepatterns that had been enmeshed
in the family for decades,generations.
(25:21):
And so I want you to thinkabout that and possibly reframe
what you think you know aboutyour ancestors on the other side
, because some of them came inready for battle and were not
able to overcome what they hopedthey could do in this lifetime.
(25:43):
Thank you, free Will.
Others have purposelysacrificed themselves and come
into your life knowing that itwould cause you pain, but
ultimately it was for thegreater good of you and your
journey here in this physicalworld.
It was for the greater good ofyou and your journey here in
(26:03):
this physical world, and so thisis what I mean when I say they
are rooting you on is that theywant you to live your best life,
even if that means you're doingit by cutting them off, by
getting rid of them, bydisowning them, by not talking
to them in the spirit world,because they understand and they
don't take it personally if youdon't.
By not talking to them in thespirit world, because they
understand and they don't takeit personally if you don't want
(26:24):
to talk to them, but ultimatelyknow that everything in the
spirit world is love, it is ofservice, it is growth and change
, and evolution is really thebig word I want to say.
It's the soul's evolution onthe other side that really
drives them, and so you bet yourass that they fucking love
(26:46):
working with us in themediumship space because they
will take any opportunity theycan get to help you, to help me,
to help any of us grow into thenext evolution of our soul.
Damn, right, damn.
(27:08):
So with that, I'm going tothank my amazing team, my
departed loved ones, myancestors, my guides for
literally always being there.
And I have to tell you my UncleRoger he's just given up showing
(27:30):
up the way that he was in thephysical world.
He repeatedly comes through theway that he comes through in my
head because I don't think heliked how he looked when he was
a little vain, when he wasgetting closer to passing, and
so he ends up showing up likethis, like 30, 40 year old hot
rod and like a leather jacketwith like grease style slick
(27:53):
back hair.
And so now it cracks me up when, when he so at least he's
having fun with this he's likeno, I'm not showing up as him
anymore, I don't like lookinglike him.
So now he shows up as this guythat looks like he should be on
the New Jersey shore In all myreadings and I just laugh and I
have to take it because I knowwho's trying to come through.
(28:13):
So so, yeah, so they love it,they absolutely love it, and so
that my students will learn, Iknow that will happen, that's
(28:46):
only a matter of time.
