What happens when you board a plane with no lesson plan and a promise to stop gripping the wheel? I flew to Puerto Vallarta for Dia de los Muertos expecting to teach—and instead got schooled by trust, La Catrina, and the Sierra Madre herself.

I share how a travel agent’s nudge toward La Catrina reframed mediumship as joyful remembrance, not fear, and how studying the ofrenda’s elements and tiers unlocked a living map: shamanic work in the lower world, mediumship in the middle, Akashic insight in the upper. Then the universe flexed. A friend “just happened” to leave a bag of crystals at my hotel. I built a simple altar in a sterile room and watched the energy soften. When it was time to teach, I named the frame—and surrendered the rest. What followed was a channeled activation from the land and a frequency upgrade each person’s team was ready to deliver. Tears. Synchronicities. Relief. A stranger’s card mirroring her morning watercolor. Pain easing. Shared visions in the records from people seated side‑by‑side.

We moved from story into practice with ancestral mediumship: clearing lineage patterns, meeting ancestors who want to help, and naming the soul reasons we chose our families. Themes emerged—entrepreneurial threads, motherline healing, seasons of sons resetting the field. The real lesson sat beneath it all: trust is not passive. It’s active, embodied, and sometimes loud. Control can’t conjure alignment; collaboration can. When I stopped over‑engineering and let spirit lead, the curriculum arrived, the tools appeared, and the room remembered why we were there.

If you’re ready to experiment with surrender, this one is for you. Listen for the framework, feel the activation, and take the first small step with your team. Then tell me your “you can’t make this up” moment. Subscribe, share with a friend who needs courage, and leave a review so more seekers can find their way.

SPEAKER_00 (01:12):
Hello, everyone.
Welcome back to the Unity Code.
I am so excited today to talkabout my trip, my first
international retreat experiencein Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
And this was such an importantlesson on trust for me, as my
team has lovingly asked me totrust them since day one of this

(01:35):
metaphysical journey becausetrust and I go way deep.
Like we go way deep.
I trust nobody.
I'm like the X-files over here.
And so this has been anastounding example of the magic
of trust with spirit.
And I wanted to walk throughthis story, this path with all
of you today, because I thinkit's so interesting that a lot

(01:58):
of people love to say, trust theuniverse, that the universe
always has a plan.
Hell, I say it to my clients allthe time.
I'm so sorry, everybody.
But that is the reality of it.
And it's so interesting becauseone of the first Oracle decks I
ever bought was GabrielleBernstein.
I know she's lovely.
Her Oracle deck, the universehas your back.

(02:20):
And I was like, oh, this is sucha lovely thought.
And then I opened up that Oracledeck and I looked at it and I
was like, this is some bullshitright here.
This is this is the fluffy shitthat gets tossed around on
Instagram with sparkles andangel numbers.
And we're going to talk aboutthat soon, too.
I want the type of trust in theuniverse that like strips me

(02:43):
bare, tells me to just show up,even though I don't trust the
process, even though it's ablack box, and trust that my
universe truly does have my backand that I feel like I'm still
guided.
And this is something I've juststruggled with constantly.
I cannot tell you how many timesI've heard over the course of my

(03:05):
metaphysical journey, like,Nicole, you need to trust your
team more.
Stop trying to control theoutcome.
You're safe.
It's time to let go.
And every time they'd say it, Iwould politely nod and be like,
yeah, yeah, I get it.
Except I didn't.
I really didn't understand ituntil this trip to Port of
Bayarta because that's whenSpirit finally decided to hand
me the masterclass of trust inthe middle of marigolds and

(03:27):
tequila.
Yes, I love my tequila in theday of the dead altar.
I still don't drink much, butwhat tequila's always been a
friend of mine.
Let's just put that out there.
And so today I'm gonna take youbehind the scenes of that
retreat and show you exactlywhat happens when we show up and
trust spirit.
So let's rewind to how it allstarted because this trip

(03:49):
literally fell out of the skyfor me.
Um about a year ago, the lovelyperson who is running this
retreat, her name is Julie, shehad reached out to me about a
year ago to ask me part twoteach in this Porto Vallta Dia
de los Mortos trip.
And so I know her through SoulJourney Sundays.

(04:10):
It's a lovely Sunday event toget a reading.
If you haven't been, please go.
But she knew that I was takingmy shamana classes, and Spirit
told her, invite Nicole, inviteNicole, invite Nicole.
This happens to me all the time,by the way.
I freaking love it.
I'm like, I it spirit goesthrough everybody else but me.
Um, so she reached out, asked ifI'd participate, and it was in

(04:32):
obviously perfect alignment withmy journey because as I
mentioned, I was taking theshamanic studies, right?
I love Mexico.
Did you know when I was little,I used to tell everybody that my
dad was Mexican.
He's not.
Just because I loved the foodthat much.
So I do love the culture, thefood, obviously, the ancestors.

(04:55):
I love the Dia de los Mortosstyle and holiday.
And just so you know, my thirdtattoo was of my soul dog in the
Dia de los Mortos style.
So this is totally spiritualforeshadowing here, everybody.
And so I didn't even thinktwice.
I said yes instantly, and thelogistics just fell into place,

(05:17):
right?
My lovely husband came along, myin-laws watched my kids.
God, they're saints, and myother in-laws watched my dog,
right?
Like it was just the perfecteasiest flow state to get to
Mexico.
But here's the catch.
About days before flying out,six days before I was supposed

(05:39):
to teach, still not knowing whaton earth I was going to be
teaching in Puerto Villar toMexico.
So much so that one of mystudents in the mediumship
mastermind asked me, Are you,are you nervous?
Are you nervous about thisretreat?
And to be honest with you, Iwasn't nervous at all.
And I let her know that.
And I said, My team alwaysdelivers something amazing.

(06:01):
And so I trust them and I knowthat they're going to give me
something amazing to teach downin Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
And I had this really strangecalm about it, really strange
trust about it.
Because historically they do.
I have learned enough to knowthat if I don't stress about it,
my team shows up with somethingway bigger, way better than I

(06:24):
could have ever planned.
And so after that mediumshipmastermind class that night,
there was a thought that droppedin my head.
And when I say that, those ofyou know, you know, that's
always spirit.
When you get a random thought inyour head, it's always spirit.
The thought was me chatting withthe travel agent a few weeks
earlier, and she was hyping meup for the trip.

(06:47):
And she was asking about me andmy class and what I was going to
teach.
Of course, I didn't tell her.
I told her I don't know yet.
And she told me to look up LaKatrina.
She said, I think you're goingto love it.
Go look it up if you haven'theard of it.
It's a really big part ofDiodolis Martos.
So I heard that talk track in myhead and I said, All right,
spirit, I see you.
I see you.

(07:07):
So I get onto Google and I startsearching for La Katrina.
And if you haven't heard of LaKatrina, she is the absolutely
gorgeous skeleton in thewide-brimmed hat that's smiling
at you, dressed to the nines aspart of the Dia de los Mortos

(07:29):
celebration.
Um, she looks like royalty.
She's absolutely gorgeous, andshe started over a century ago
as satire.
So it was the artist's way ofmocking the upper class.
I love this, as a reminder thatno one escapes death, no matter
how wealthy you are.
Uh, we all end up as bones inthe end.
So over time, this satirecartoon became a political

(07:53):
statement and a sacred icon ofthe Dia de los Muertos holiday.
So you end up seeing Le Katrinasall over Mexico, all over the
world for anyone that'scelebrating this incredible
holiday because it became asymbol of equality and
remembrance and joy.
Because she reminds us thatdeath is not the opposite of
life, it's part of life.

(08:14):
And so that's why people painttheir face in the sugar skull
candy, sugar candy skull.
I've said that wrong.
You know what I'm talking about,um, ways.
And so as I'm reading this, Ijust loved it.
I loved leading reading aboutthe Katrinos because that's
exactly what mediumship is.

(08:35):
It's not about fear, it's aboutjoy and celebration and
reuniting of us to ourancestors, us connecting to the
other side.
It's not about grief, it's notabout like spookiness or scary,
it's it's a joyful remembrance.
And La Katrina was the perfectexample of why we, as a

(08:59):
mediumship group of 25 amazing, amazing women showed up in
Puerto Vallarta to Mexico onthis incredible holiday.
And so reading about theKatrinas spirit was right, the
travel agent was right, it wouldgive me so much just connection
and inspiration for the holiday.
And I knew I had to learn more.

(09:22):
So I continued to Google and Iknow what I know.
Like I have kids, I don't, youknow, I'm not, I'm not Mexican,
despite what I told everybody asa child.
Um so I did have to go andGoogle the authentic celebration
of Dio de los Mortos because Iknow what I know through Coco
and maybe some movies and media, but I haven't actually gone and
researched the holiday myself.

(09:43):
And so when I startedresearching, I saw a lot of
amazing things, a lot of nuggetsof gold.
I wanted to make sure I wasrepresenting the holiday as best
I could being a participant inthe motherlands of this amazing
holiday.
And so then I got to the altar, the offrenda.

(10:04):
And there in my little Googlewindow was the incredible
information about the symbolismof the offrenda.
Now, there are symbols for allof the different objects on the
offrenda, and I think it'sreally important to mention that
because they have um the ofitself is really based on, for

(10:29):
lack of a better word, shamanicpractices, it's based on the
elements.
It's based on, you know, theconnection to Mother Earth
because you have the fire withthe candles, you have the water,
people put glasses of water, honestly, bottles of tequila out
there on the altars.
You have the beautiful paper, Idon't know what to call them,
paper banners, um, whichrepresent the air, right?
And you have the food that isshared on the altar that

(10:51):
represents the earth.
So it's this connection of us toall of the elements of Mother
Earth.
They have favorite foods thatagain you put on the altar.
You have pictures, you have thesugar candy skull, the skull um
uh ceramics that might have aname on them for the people.
You might have a, you know, apicture with words or a story,

(11:13):
um, and you're gonna havecrosses and all these amazing
things on there.
But as I kept going deeper anddeeper into the symbols of the
offrenda, somewhere I read, andI don't reading it on Google
versus being in Mexico andseeing it in person, it was a
little different because what Iread, I don't think is

(11:35):
necessarily attributed to theholiday too much.
But I discovered that thistraditional three-tier altar
setup that this is what I read.
Sorry, anyone that's Mexican orMexican descent that I'm
butchering this, apologies.
Um so traditionally, they itmentioned that the altar was set
up in three tiers.

(11:56):
Now, being in person, I knowthat's not necessarily true.
I saw many different tiers.
I was counting them as I waswalking all through Mexico.
Um, so I was counting them.
So I know that this isn'tnecessarily a rule of thumb by
any means, but essentially whatI Googled was the meaning of the
tiers of the altar.
And based on what I had read, there were three different tiers
of the altar or three differentways.

(12:17):
So along with the elements andthe connection to Mother Earth
or Pachamama or Gaia or whathave you, each of the levels
also represents different levelsof connection.
So the lower level, the bottomlevel of the ofrenda, is meant
to symbolize the underworld inthe shamanic, which is the
subconscious, which is theancestral lineage, the past,

(12:39):
right?
Um, the middle layer is supposedto represent the conscious, the
physical, the human, the earth,right?
Our lived experience here onplanet Earth.
And then the upper level on theofrenda is meant to symbolize
heaven, um, connection to thespirit world, the other side,
the upper world, if you'retalking in shamanic terms.

(12:59):
And so there it freaking was onGoogle, the immediate connection
to what I was trying to find aconnection to the entire time
for this presentation, becausethis lovely retreat leader took
the title that I put everywhere, comes to bite in the ass,

(13:19):
apparently, of Akashic andShamanic Mediumship.
And she said I was going to doakashic and shamanic mediumship
on this retreat.
And I was like, I don't know howthe fuck I'm gonna do that
because it's three differentmodalities, but okay, I can do
that on a mediumship retreat.
And there it fucking was.
Spirit handed it to me on aliteral altar, the connection
between the different levels ofthe ofrenda, the lower level,

(13:42):
the shamanic, the middle level, the mediumship, and the upper
level, the akashic.
And so the ofrenda mirrorsexactly what I was trying to
present.
Exactly what I wanted to share.
And not only that, but had adirect connection to the
holiday, the Dia de los Muertos, and honoring it in the true way

(14:05):
that it needs to be honored herein the physical world.
It was probably top threebiggest holy shit moments that
I've ever had in the spiritualwork.
Like I'm talking tears runningdown my face.
I'm talking holy shit.
I had no idea.
I had no idea.

(14:27):
Um, of course, Akashic andShamanic Mediumship at a
mediumship retreat.
Like, that's a fucking mouthful.
So I did ask, sorry, I'm I'm offmy rocker today with the swears,
everybody.
Um, so I so I did tell the team,I can't name it that.
Like, I know that's what thetitle is.
I can't name it that.

(14:47):
What do you want me to name it?
And they said ancestralmediumship.
And I said, freaking perfect.
That's amazing.
And so from that moment on, onceI knew what I was teaching, like
the floodgates open.
I drafted up the course.
I ran it by my medium shipmastermind women to give it a
trial run because I always loveto do that.
Um, got some amazing feedbackand and information from that

(15:10):
group, right?
And so this was two days beforethe retreat.
So I packed my bags, dropped thekids off at the in-laws, dropped
the dog off, grab the husband, head to the airport at 2 a.m.
on Saturday morning on Dia delos Muertos, like the the day
after Halloween.
We fly down to Mexico.
Thank God it was before the TSAdebacle.

(15:34):
Um, and we get there.
And when I check in, I go tocheck into the hotel.
Waiting for me is a bag ofcrystals.
So let me rewind here for asecond.
You weren't expecting me to saybag of crystals at the check-in,
did you?
Those of you at the retreat did.
Everyone else, you had no idea.

(15:55):
Because this is part of themagic of spirit.
When I checked in with this bagof crystals, this bag of
crystals came from the amazing,my ride or die, most amazing
woman ever, owner of a crystalmine in Westboro, Massachusetts.
This is the store that I do alot of live events at.

(16:17):
She is an amazing human.
And we found out through thegrapevine after not talking for
several months in a row that wewere going to be in Puerto
Vallarta pretty much at the sametime.
She beat me by two days.
So our paths did not cross, butwe were in the same location in
Mexico within two days of eachother, completely unexpectedly,
because I had booked this a yearin advance.

(16:38):
She had no idea.
Her husband had booked thiscruise.
I had no idea.
And so when we went to go meetfor lunch, we found out, or we
went to schedule lunch, we foundout that each of us were going
to be in the same vicinity insuch a close period of time.
She thought it was freakingwild.
So what she decided to do wasbring crystals on her cruise.

(17:02):
If you haven't checked out hersocial media, you need to, by
the way.
She's now starting this likecrystal campaign where she is
taking little packets ofcrystals for free and dropping
them in all the locations thatshe goes to.
So she took bags of crystalswith her on this cruise and
dropped them all along thePacific Coast in San Diego and

(17:25):
Baja and Cabo and Port ofAyarta.
And all because she found outthat I was, I'm, I digress.
Anyway.
So she finds out we're there.
Her cruise stop lands.
She drops off the crystals at myhotel because she doesn't think
she has time to go drop them offin town and hide all the
crystals.
So she's like, Can you can youdo it?
So I did not expect a bag ofcrystals to be waiting for me

(17:50):
when I arrived at this hotelfrom my favorite person from my
favorite shop.
And they're the most magicalcrystals ever.
Um, and I'm like, this is sofucking weird.
What, like, what, why, why, how?
Okay, cool.
I'll help you out, Jamie.
I got you.
So I just went with it, took thecrystals up, and she it was

(18:10):
amazing.
It was so amazing.
Um, scooting to the next day, after I've gotten my, you know,
my my lovely, what did I getthat night?
After meeting all the women thatarrived, sorry.
I see I'm I'm already thinkingabout the food, everybody.
I'm like, what did I eat thatnight?
I definitely had chicken molethat night with more chips and

(18:33):
guac than um I will ever admitto.
I ate it every day.
It was amazing.
So the next day we start ourretreat.
Um, the first woman is talkingabout her training session.
So Julie goes first.
She's in the morning, I'm in theafternoon on Diodelos Mortos,
which is like a week-long event.

(18:53):
So it's Diodelus Mortos, it'sthe last day, it's November 2nd.
She goes first, right?
She's teaching a lovelyworkshop.
It's amazing.
She's doing some amazingteaching.
We get into this meditation toget ourselves in the power
before we do breakout groups topractice what she had taught.
Um, as soon as we entered thisguided meditation, I thought I

(19:14):
was going to meditate, but no,my guides were in my ear the
entire time.
Grab the flowers, bring the deckdown.
I brought a deck with me.
They told me to bring a certaindeck with me and bring the
crystals down during the break, during the hour break that I
have.
Bring everything downstairs.
And I'm like, oh, okay.
So as soon as the workshop'sover, I run upstairs to my room.

(19:35):
I grab all the things, stick itin my backpack.
They probably think I'm fuckingthieving.
These the giant flowers in mycrystal vase.
It's fine, it's no big deal.
Bring it all down to theconference center.
And as soon as I do, they aresaying, set up an altar in the
middle of the floor.
So I do.
So I put the flowers in themiddle of the circle of chairs,

(19:56):
put the crystals all around it,put the cards in a circle around
that.
So I essentially created thisshamanic altar in the middle of
this stark, kind of cold, not sogreat energy.
Gotta be honest with you.
Conference room.
As soon as that altar was set upin the room, the entire energy

(20:20):
shifted.
I can't even describe it.
It just shifted.
I was like, oh my God, this isexactly what the room needed.
It's what the energy needed.
It's what the physical locationwanted us to do.
So as everyone starts walking infrom lunch, their bellies full
of tacos, because who can blamethem, right?
Maybe a couple margaritas too.

(20:41):
I'm not judging.
I think that's amazing.
They all get a little giddy.
They all start like making theselittle side conversations.
Oh, there's a, ooh, what's that?
Ooh, on the floor.
You know, you know, you know, you know.
It was really cute watchingeverybody come in and like their
eyes light up with the magic ofthis little tiny, um, very
humble altar in the middle ofthe room.
And they all sit down andthey're chatting a little bit.

(21:03):
And, you know, everyone's alittle late from lunch, always
happens.
So I'm starting to talk toeverybody.
And mind you, in my head, Istill don't know what this two
hours is gonna look like.
Because I know I'm gonna teachancestral mediumship.
However, I can do that in 10minutes.

(21:24):
Like, I'm not joking, 10minutes.
It's not complex, it's not hard.
10 minutes.
What the heck am I gonna do forthe rest of the hour in 50
minutes I have left?
Um so I'm literally sitting infront of the room telling
everybody, I'm I probably needto learn to not do this, be

(21:44):
being fully transparent, beinglike, I don't, I don't know, how
I don't know.
I don't know.
We're gonna do ancestralmediumship.
I don't know what we're doing.
I know we're doing a guidedsomething, um, but I'm really
gonna channel this entiresession from my guides.
And they were like, oh, that'soh, and I was like, Yeah, I
don't, I'm okay, great.
I will do that.
So we start the session and myteam immediately turns up the

(22:08):
energy on me full blast.
Now, when I say full blast, Icouldn't stand up.
I knew that if I stood up, Iwould be falling over.
That is how much energy theyblasted me with when I started
this session, started my my umancestral mediumship two hour
stint.
Um, so I start going into, andmy brain is fully engaged at

(22:31):
this point.
So I start going into, heyeverybody, I'm Nicole.
Here's my history.
We're gonna do ancestralmediumship today.
And I start walking them throughwhat I just walked you through,
like how I found about out aboutthe offerenda, what it means,
how we're gonna do ancestralmediumship.
So the first 15, 20 minutes, there were a couple questions,
was essentially me giving theinformation on what this is and

(22:54):
what ancestral mediumship is andhow we're gonna do it today.
So my human part has beenchecked off the list.
I know I've talked about thethings that I knew I was gonna
talk about and that I wasprepared to talk about.
And then as soon as that wasover, Spirit literally freaking
kicked my brain to the side.
And they're like, we got it now.

(23:15):
And they're like, we're gonnagive you an activation for
everybody.
And I'm like, okay, so the wordsare literally coming out of my
mouth in the middle of thissession where I'm like, okay, so
Spirit is going to give us anenergy activation from the land
as well as a frequency upgradefor whatever your next best
intention vibration is that isready to be come in, and that is

(23:36):
ready to come in.
So think of it as an energeticupgrade that your team is
bringing in for you today thatyou are ready for and you
haven't asked for yet.
So I go into a 20 to 30 minuteactivation session that I fully
channeled.
And I don't remember much of it,to be completely honest with

(23:57):
you.
I remember that we did theintegrated, we cleared out
energy, we pulled in the energyfrom the earth, we blessed
everybody with a gift of energyfrom the earth and an activation
from the earth.
I gave time for people toreceive messages for the earth,
and it was so wild because Iremember, see, I don't remember
what I said, but I remember theenergy coming through like I was

(24:20):
a witness in what I was relayingto everybody because I could
feel who was receiving thisenergy and who was resisting
this energy.
And I didn't say anything, myteam said it through me in
saying those of you who arefeeling it a little sticky in
your chest, like open up yourheart space, open up your throat

(24:40):
space, receive it, take a deepbreath.
So I so I could feel uminherently the energies of the
room and where they were flowingand where they were stagnant.
And I don't think it was me.
I think my team was showing methe balance of energy in the
room, if that makes sense.
I don't even know how todescribe it because it was all

(25:01):
happening at once.
So like I could feel thedifferent vibrations that were
okay.
I could feel the differentvibrations that were sticky, I
could feel.
I don't think anyone was checkedout, but I think if they were, I
could have felt that too.
Um and so we did this energyactivation, we did this
frequency download for them fromtheir guides going into the

(25:22):
Akashic Records.
I don't remember what I said.
It was fucking epic, though.
Can I say that?
It was fucking epic.
And I I only know it was epicbecause when I was done, and my
eyes were shut the whole time, Iwas definitely in like trance
channeling mode.
When I opened my eyes and Iafter, I asked everybody else to

(25:43):
open their eyes.
I saw people wiping tears.
I was wiping tears.
And I saw people sigh and takedeep breaths.
And I gotta be honest with you,it's like working with me.
It's like a slap across theface.
A lot of them look like deer andheadlights.

(26:04):
Like, holy shit, what justfucking happened?
And I'm like, well, uh, welcometo working with me, everybody.
This is what it's like to workwith me.
I go bigger or we go home.
Um, and so after everybody tooka moment to just calm back from
this energetic upgradeactivation, I don't even still
don't know what I'm calling it.

(26:25):
Everybody said, sorry, spiritsaid, when I say everybody, it's
my team.
My spirit told everybody to graba crystal and grab a card.
Take the crystal home that'syours to keep.
It has been infused with theenergy of the land.
It is your gift from the landand lovely Jamie at the crystal

(26:46):
mine.
And the card is a message foryou from your team through this
activation.
So I hand the book around forthe cards.
A lot of people are sharingthese amazing, amazing
synchronicities that youcouldn't make this shit up if

(27:07):
you tried.
Because I had one woman whobroke her foot in the airport,
we know now.
We didn't know it at the time, but the pain in her foot
completely disappeared when ithad been throbbing nonstop for
two days before the session.

(27:28):
So her foot pain, her brokenfoot, stops being in pain.
We had several participants thatwere in close, they were kind of
seated next to each other, closephysical proximity in the room,
that all saw similar visions ofeyes while we were in the
Akashic Records.
And then there was another womanwho earlier in the day, she

(27:51):
brought this cute little paintset that you see on the social
media accounts right now, whereit's like this little pocket
with these little watercolors, and Spirit told her to sit by
the pool and paint this morning.
So she painted.
And her card, the colors of thecard she picked out almost
precisely matched the watercolorpainting she had done earlier in

(28:15):
the day.
Like, and she even wrote downsymbols which she saw on the
card.
Like it was wild.
It was freaking wild.
You couldn't make this shit upif you tried.
And so I knew when, when, see, they're giving me the download
right now.
So I knew, but I'm saying thisin the present tense.
Now that now that I'm processingthis live with all of you, I

(28:38):
knew in that moment.
Now that I know, God, can I canI say that any more backwards?
Can I just rewind for a secondand say that differently?
I hope you don't mind my garbledmess all the time.
Looking back at that moment, myteam is informing me I needed to
be there to help everybodyreceive the activations and

(28:59):
gifts from the land.
Because I wasn't there to justteach ancestral mediumship.
Yeah, that was fucking cool.
I loved it.
But I was there to make surethat these individuals knew that
the universe had their back.
That Mother Earth, Pachamama,Gaia, they want, she wants us

(29:21):
here.
We are anchors and lightningrods in Mother Earth that are
here to raise the vibration andfrequency.
So it's like spirit showing mein my head right now.
That activation lit up the gridin that area that needed to be
lit up.

(29:45):
That makes sense because allweek before I arrived there, I
was channeling the spirit of theland, which by the way is called
the Sierra Madres.
Sierra Madres, the mother, it'sthe mother range.
It's not like Sierra Nevada.
No, it's Sierra Madres, themother mountains down there.

(30:06):
Um, I was channeling that energyall week saying, and she
continuously was telling meeveryone that's been that is
coming to the retreat has livedin incarnation in Mexico.
She was telling me that we areall welcome there, that she is
happy that we're here, we willbe divinely protected there, um,
that she has been waiting a longtime for us to go there.
Like it was wild, this shit thatI channeled before.

(30:27):
These are the things I don'ttell everybody because doesn't
that sound crazy?
It does, it does, it does, itdoes.
Um, but the more that I do thiswork, the more I realize it's
just so far out there.
This stuff, like we don't evenknow that how much we don't
know.
We only know what we know, andwe are a drop in the ocean
compared to what we think ispossible here in the physical

(30:50):
world.
So that was pretty, prettyfucking rad.
After everyone picked theircards, many of which resonated,
they were all kind of sent offin their breakout groups to go
practice ancestral mediumship.
And some of the messages thatpeople got were absurd and
amazing and things they'd never.

(31:11):
Thought about before.
One woman had mentioned, andpart of this was receiving
messages from am I, am I boringyou?
No, I'm not.
I feel like I'm getting you allto sign on for retreats with me
in the future.
Some of the messages that we gotwere related to your ancestral
lineage.
What what um subconscious tiesor things from your family line

(31:36):
are holding you back?
And then also from an Akashic'sum, sorry, that was the
shamanic.
From the mediumship level, whatancestors are you similar to,
are ready for to work with you,or have strengths that they're
willing to share with you?
And then also the last one waswhat was the sole reason that

(32:01):
you chose this family, thisfamily line?
What were the benefits of thisfamily line?
And also, if you wanted to getinto it, what are the past lives
that you've had with some ofyour family members?
So I kind of left this open foreverybody to just take what they
wanted to do.
If they wanted to do past lives, set the intention.
If they wanted to uncover familylineage stuff that's ready to be

(32:22):
re-released, go through there.
Um, if they want to meet familyancestors, go through there.
And I think it allowed thatperfect balance of like do what
you want, right?
Do do what you're excited about, stretch yourself a little bit.
Um, but all of this stuff isaccessible through mediumship
because you're setting theintention.
Is it the best modality for allthis stuff?
Uh I could be argued.

(32:43):
I could argue that one.
Uh, yay, both ways, yes and no.
But either way, I think itallows people to realize that
mediumship is an avenue touncover soul-level stuff, to
uncover subconscious ancestrallevel things.
And some of the messages, justto brag, humble brag about the
students and the attendeesthere, um, there were some

(33:05):
amazing, they were some amazingmessages, right?
There were some amazingfindings, like um someone being
an entrepreneur in the family,right?
And and realizing that, yeah, like the family is a history of
entrepreneurs and and thiswoman's like ready to open up
her own business, right?
Um, some of the other messageswere that, you know, she was um,

(33:26):
I'm asking spirit in my head, isit okay to share?
And she's saying yes because I'mkeeping it anonymous.
Um good to go, they said.
Um, that it was someone ended uphaving two boys and no girls
because that generation is is ahealing and reset time before

(33:47):
more girls will come into thefamily.
So essentially, like rewritingthe the mother wound, the the
female narrative and the lineageof the family was the gift of
having two sons and no nodaughters.
And so it's just reallyinteresting.
Like, like, like messages likethat, could you get that
anywhere else?
I don't think so.
Could you get that in therapy?
No, I don't think so.

(34:08):
And I think therapy has itsplace, not knocking it.
Um, but stuff like that is justlike, wow, boom, right?
And so the messages that peoplereceived were so freaking
powerful and allowed people toexpand and stretch in so many
different ways that I neverthought was possible walking
into this week.

(34:29):
Um, and so just kind ofreflecting back on this idea of
trust because when the roomfinally emptied, once once we
were done and everybody walkedout of there like they've been
slapped across the face about 10times by me.
I'm so sorry, everybody.
Um, impactful, but I will leaveyou reeling.
I am so sorry about that.

(34:50):
Don't come to me for the easystuff, come to me for the stuff
that is deep and wounded and youneed healing on.
I got you.
I fucking got you.
Um, but as everybody left, I waslike, good job, team.
We did it, right?

(35:10):
But I honestly I was laughing alittle bit because of course
Spirit had it handled.
They literally orchestrated thisentire fucking two-hour session
like a year in advance, right?
Like the fact that I got there, the fact that I was invited to

(35:30):
this event, the fact that Jamiehad dropped off the crystals
that I ended up infusing withthe energy of Mother Earth and
giving to all the participantsthere, right?
Little bit of a gift foreverybody, a literal and an
energetic gift for everybody.
The fact that they helped mewith um channeling the
information.
Did you know that I have beenlearning channeling for like
three weeks before?

(35:51):
I knew how to channel, but Ineeded a little bit nuance.
So they had me listen tochanneling books and practice
channeling weeks before thissession, right?
Um, the fact that they gave medownloads in the morning, the
fact that like they told mewhich tarot cards to bring
before the session, um, the thedownload of the altar
information days before, all ofthis shit was planned by my

(36:15):
invisible team.
And I'll tell you what, if itwere me and I didn't trust my
team like I haven't for severalyears, right?
Like I historically have a hardtime with trust with my
spiritual team.
I gotta be honest with you.
Old me would have planned theshit out of this.

(36:35):
I would have had a spreadsheet,I would have researched over and
over and over again, tested overand over and over again.
New me let spirit lead me to thealtar.
And I think that is the majordifference between control and
collaboration because spiritjust needs us to surrender.

(36:56):
They don't ask us because theywant to control the situation.
They ask us to let go so we canfinally let them lead and show
us and teach us what alignmentactually looks like.
And here's the thing that is sohard about trust.
It's not passive, it's active,it's anxious, it's um difficult,

(37:20):
it's trying, it's letting go ofold patterns and beliefs in your
energy and in your neuralsystems, frankly.
And dealing with the anxiety andanxiousness while at the same
time saying, I don't know what'snext, but I'm gonna trust it.
And when you show up that way,at least in my terms, in my

(37:45):
experience, spirit shows off.
And I am so grateful that I did.
I'm so grateful that I had I hadlearned that lesson, that slap
across the face from my teamover and over and over again.
Because I knew if I just let goand released and surrendered and

(38:10):
said, I trust of what they'regonna give.
I and I also trust myself thatif I don't think it's good
enough, I'm gonna take over andI'll be able to figure this out.
No fucking problem.
But also I trust that my team'sgonna show up with something
that is a home run out of thepark.
No one else could have done thatsession because it was so
authentic and aligned to me andmy energy.

(38:31):
I could not have Googled that.
I I could not have foundsomebody else that did it the
way that I did it.
Spirit is the ultimate freakingteacher, man.
Like they're the ultimateteacher.
I could not have planned thisentire trip if I had tried.

(38:55):
This is the type of week, thetype of trip, the type of
workshop.
By the way, the rest of the weekwas absolutely fucking magical.
Oh my god, Julie and herretreats.
God, I gotta get them more onthose.
Um, and and booked my own, frankly, to be honest with you,
because it was so life-changingand integral and integrating in

(39:17):
community and connections andnetworking.
And it was the perfect escape atthe perfect time, and it gave me
exactly what I needed to hit theground running and know that I
am meant for big fucking changein this world.

(39:40):
And that's what I trust becauseif spirit can show up for me in
that way, I know there's nothingthat they wouldn't do for me and
nothing that they couldn't moveor help me accomplish so long as
I continue to surrender andtrust.

(40:02):
And so I would love, I wouldlove to continue this
conversation on Wednesday whereI want to talk about how does
this trust thing actually work,right?
Because it's one thing for me totalk about this entire story and

(40:22):
all these different pieces thathopefully you followed.
Maybe you didn't, that's okaytoo.
Um and talk about what thefrequency of trust actually
looks like.
What does it actually look likein your energy so that you learn
to let go?
Because I think this is ironic.
When you learn the frequency andthe energetics behind trust, I
think it makes it easier totrust.
So I wanted to talk about thaton Wednesday.

(40:44):
I want to give you a couple ofexperiments for you to try with
your own team.
And damn, I want to know yourmoments too.
Like I do, I genuinely do.
I am loving, absolutely lovingall of the messages that I've
been hearing from all of you onInstagram comments, messages.

(41:06):
Um, my community out there onHeartbeats a little quiet right
now.
That's fine.
We'll get it going.
We'll get it going.
But I would love to hear yourstories of I couldn't have
planned that if I tried, or youcan't make this shit up, those
moments.
I want to hear about them.
So if you have those from yoursbased on trust, I want to hear
about it.
If you have questions abouttrust, I want to answer them for

(41:27):
you.
Send it all my way.
Um, and as I'm rebranding thispodcast and as these episodes,
which I love and adore, and I'mso stoked about the direction of
this podcast, they are taking melonger than ever to do just
because there's so much researchand integrity I want to bring
into it.
So if you want to help me bypromoting the podcast, talking

(41:50):
about it with your friends, leaving a review, I would truly,
truly appreciate it.
So until then, until Wednesday, when we're going to talk about
the frequency of trust, I wantyou to stay curious.
I want you to stay connected.
And I want you to remember thatsometimes we're going to talk
about this.
Spirit hides the plan becauseknowing it would ruin the magic.
And ain't that fucking true withthis trip?

(42:10):
All right.
I love you.
See you on Wednesday for parttwo because spirit is not done
with us yet.
