In this episode of Empower Your Soul, Nicole shares the lessons she wishes she had known at the very beginning of her spiritual journey. From the chaos of eclipse season to the fresh energy of the autumn equinox, she reflects on the cycles of release, alignment, and growth—and how they mirror the path of spiritual development.

She opens up about the early days of “spiritual binging,” when she tried every tool and class, only to discover that there’s no single “right” way to grow. Instead, the real wisdom came from listening within. Along the way, she learned that:

  • Healing doesn’t have to be painful. Peace and lightness are powerful signs of growth.
  • There is no “right way.” Your soul will guide you toward what fits best.
  • Spiritual binging is normal—but not sustainable. Integration matters more than accumulation.
  • All paths lead to the same truth. Love and alignment are always at the center.
  • Peace is the goal. It’s the calm after the storm of growth.
  • Watch out for spiritual egos. Trust your gut when something feels off.
  • Trust yourself first. Your inner wisdom is the greatest teacher you’ll ever have.

This episode is part storytelling, part soul coaching, and full of reminders that your journey is unique—and that’s exactly how it’s meant to be.

Ready to explore your own spiritual truth? Join me in letting go of what others say you "should" do and discover the path that feels authentically yours. The magic is waiting for you to notice it.

Nicole (00:00):
Hello everyone, welcome.
To empower your soul.
I am here with like a latenight edition.
This is Monday night.
I thought I had all the time inthe world today to record a few
podcast episode for this week, but I am so backed up.
But I wanted to release itbecause it's such a wonderful,

(00:20):
amazing day, mainly because, number one, it is the end of
eclipse season.
Oh, praise the Lord, becausethose last two weeks have felt
like two years, two decades, like it has been brutal, this
energetic clearing that hashappened with the last two
eclipse eclipses in September.

(00:41):
And also, you know, while I'mrecording this today, it is the
autumn equinox.
Everybody, happy fall.
It's my favorite season.
I love, love, love fall.
I was born in the fall, I gotmarried in the fall, I had my
first kid in the fall.
I'm obsessed with everythingfall.
No surprise probably to all ofyou, because I live in New
England and you couldn't thankyou spirit, pry me from the

(01:05):
Northeast, unless that you like,I left with my cold, dead hands
because the leaves, thechanging of the leaves, the, the
smell of rotting leaves I knowthat's weird the crispy crunchy
rotting leaves smell like oh,it's the best, it's the best.
So I'm so excited for myfavorite season to come.
It's the best, so I'm soexcited for my favorite season
to come.

(01:25):
But what happens with fall isthis is, you know, the shoulder
season, the transition seasonthat brings us from the lovely,
glorious summer, if you likesummer, to the hermit
introspection season of winter.
And so this amazing fall seasonis all about shedding skin

(01:51):
right, shedding things thatdon't serve us.
Are we sick of that yet?
I'm a little sick of that yet.
But just like the leaves on thetrees, right, we need to start
focusing on what we need for thecoming months, focusing on our
own energy, our own needs, desires, wants right, and
removing the things that are nolonger aligned to us.
And this naturally happens asthe days start getting shorter,
as the veil starts gettingthinner, as we get closer to

(02:12):
Halloween, and so this is such alovely time to you know, just
just do a stock on what'simportant to us, our
perspectives, what's working, what's not working, and use this
time to just gracefully releaseand let go what doesn't serve
us for the 75th time this year.
Everybody, I'm so sorry aboutthat.

(02:33):
So I thought it might be reallycool this episode to talk about
what I wish I knew then and Iwas originally thinking about
this episode or this idea ofwhat I wish I knew then from
more of a like mediumshipperspective or spirit guide
perspective.
But I think I'm going to bringthis perspective higher than

(02:54):
that and talk more about myspiritual journey.
What I wish I knew when Istarted this journey many years
ago uh, very innocently, verynaively, and maybe some of the
stories that go on with it.
So, happy solstice.
Here is what I wish I knew whenI started my spiritual

(03:18):
discovery journey and I wrote alist.
I don't know if spirit's goingto keep me on or in order.
Um, okay, they're going to haveme start with three.
I'm going to have to checkthese off my list.
This is when it's like going tothe Akashic records.
You have a list of questionsand then they're like we're
going to go to three and thenfive and then seven and then
back to two and then one andthen nine.

(03:40):
So I'm just going to spiritlead the way through this.
So the first one they want meto cover is that you need to
find your own way with this work.
So, as we start thismetaphysical journey, this
spiritual journey, a lot of usgo through this phase of what I
call.
What do I call it?

(04:00):
Team?
Don't mind me, it's been a verylong day.
It's essentially like the, justlike diving in headfirst into
every single modality.
It's like the spiritual bingeprocess where you are uncovering
thank you, all of themodalities buying tarot cards,
buying pendulums, buying thesethings, reading books right,

(04:20):
like I think, in the first yearthat I did this work, I wanted
to learn how to do everythingand I felt like everybody else
was the expert and I was justthis little tiny grasshopper
asking all the senseis to teachme, taking all the classes,
reading all the books, and overtime, I've learned that this
relates to another one coming up.

(04:42):
But everyone has their ownjourney with us.
Everybody has their own truthwith us.
Everybody has their own process, their things that work, and so
part of this journey, what Iwish I knew then was that there
is no one right way to do any ofthis work.
The right way to do this work isthe way that resonates best for
you, and that everybody has tofind their own modality that

(05:06):
they want to work with, theirown version of that modality,
has to learn how their energyreads other energy right, and so
it's okay to learn fromsomebody, but don't let it be
your playbook, your black andwhite, your step by step process
, because you have to take whatyou're learning from people.
And you have to take whatyou're learning from people and

(05:26):
you have to apply it in the waythat resonates for you.
So it's a-okay to throw out thethings that don't align to you,
that don't make sense to you.
You don't have to stick with itbecause your teacher told you
it had to be a certain way.
And you're going to know inyour gut when you start taking
these classes, when you startdoing these things, that doesn't
sound right to me.
That's not aligned.

(05:47):
I remember my first teachertelling me this one's a doozy If
the spirits don't give youexactly what you want in the
exact order that you want, youkick them out and you never let
them back in and immediately in,like my third class with her,
her, with her telling me this.
I was like this isn't right,that's not.

(06:08):
That's not how I'm going tohave this conversation with
spirit, because that's notrespecting them and that's my
ego wanting it to be my way andonly my way.
And if they don't play alongthen I kick them out, like that
doesn't seem nice.
So, right off the bat, I'm justgoing to say you need to find
your own way with this work.

(06:30):
There is no defined path, thereis no set rules, there is no
set process, and that's okay.
And I think when you're startingthis journey, that feels very
daunting.
It feels like there should be aright way, because we come from
systems that have guides andplaybooks and rules and
processes, and the earlier youlearn that none of that exists

(06:52):
in the metaphysical world, thebetter off you're going to be.
Throw those playbooks out, throw the rules out.
This is the wild, wild west, and I know our brains can be
very afraid of that, but this isactually such a fun space where
you get to experiment and learnand lean into your intuition
and do it your own way.
So I'm going to encourage youto do it that way.
Do it your way.
I feel like that's a brandslogan.

(07:14):
Oh no, it's have it your way atBK.
Right, burger King, everybodymakes sense.
My son was singing all theslogans the other day.
All right, for they saidSimilarly.
With that, I'm going to tellyou number four for me, number

(07:36):
two for you, is that all pathslead to the same places.
This is a gross generalization,so you can easily poke holes in
what I'm about to say, but forthe most part, all of the
information in the spirit worldtends to be accessible by all of
the different modalities.
So when we're talking, forexample, about healing, I know

(07:58):
there's Reiki, I know there'sIET, I know there's shamanic
practices, I know there'sAkashic Records, healings, right
, that you can do, and a lot ofthe same.
A lot of the information thatyou're going to get or receive
in these readings, regardless ofthe modality, tends to be a lot
of the same stuff.
They just have differentsystems, different tools,
different methodologies that allaccess the same core

(08:21):
information about you, yourenergetic health, your soul's
history, right.
The same core information aboutyou, your energetic health,
your soul's history, right.
And so it's really interestingto me how we want to go out and
take all of the healing classes.
We want to take all of thespirit communication classes,
right, and I'm the one who'steaching spirit communication.
So, again, you can poke holesat this, but a lot of those
tools will get you to the samecore information on the spirit

(08:45):
side, on the energy side, and sothis is why it's so important
to again find your own path withthis, because you need to learn
the modalities that resonatebest with you, knowing that
you're not going to missanything, because the key is not
the information that you access.
The key is finding the modalitythat matches best with your
energy and as long as it is thebest energetic match for you,

(09:10):
you're going to be able to tapin to the information that you
are supposed to receive.
So, case in point, let's takepast lives.
Everyone loves to talk aboutpast lives, right?
When I'm talking about pastlives, do you know how many ways
we can access past lives?
Do you even know, like, besidesthe fact that you can pull
tarot cards to ask about yourpast lives, right, you can go

(09:35):
get a past life regression rightFrom a certified hypnotist.
You can go get QHHT, which is adifferent version of a past
life regression, right bysometimes not a certified
hypnotist.
You can go to a mediumshipreading and you can ask your
departed loved ones ding, what'sthe past life that I had with
you?
You can go to spirit guides andask them what's the past life

(09:57):
where this happened?
Tell me about it.
You can go into the Akashicrecords.
You can go into the galacticAkashic records like and uncover
what was the past life, thatthis happened, and this is what
I mean by all modalities lead tothe same information, and so
you're not going to missanything by picking a modality
that you resonate with best, because that's going to be

(10:19):
actually your best way, yourbiggest door, the easiest way
for you to access theinformation, because it's in the
most alignment with your energy.
Now, asterisks Are therecertain modalities thank you,
spirit that work better withinformation?
Yes, past life information.
I generally recommend, if youcan do, if, let me say it this

(10:42):
way if you do have clairs thatyou can rely on, if you are
tapped in and you want to see itfor yourself, like qhht and
passive regression are fuckingcool, because then you can go
and see and experience the pastlives yourself.
If you don't have that ability, then I recommend an akasha
records reading, because that'sgoing to be give you the most
clear energetic access to thatinformation.

(11:07):
Personally and this is myexperience maybe some of you say
I get the same information, orbetter, from my spirit guides.
It's freaking fantastic.
I love that.
So, again, you, your job is tojust see what works best with
you and know that anything thatyou're looking for is going to
be accessible from your modality, um, even if it's not at the

(11:28):
same level I don't know, like, you're not going to get all of
the information from tarot cardsbut it's still going to be able
to get you to the sameinformation, and this is
something that I've been brewingin my head for a long time.
Five they said Okay, um, alongwith that, what you may find
this is going to be number threefor all of you, when you start

(11:53):
accessing past lives newsflash, you die in every single one of
them.
Right, it can be a very, verytraumatic experience hearing
about past lives where you weremurdered, when you, um, had
sexually been sexually assaulted, when you killed somebody,
maybe, when you, you know, diedof the plague, right, like, like

(12:14):
, oh, look at that, I died ofthe plague.
And so sometimes going intothese past lives, sometimes
going into your family lineage, can fucking hurt, like, like.
It is painful to hear thesestories, to process these
stories, to have this thoughtprocess of oh my God, my soul

(12:36):
went through that, oh my God, Ilived through all that stuff,
and it's very easy to go downthis rabbit hole of pain and
suffering and and, like, almostlike, bring that back into this
current life by living it again, experiencing again, learning
from it again.
And I think a lot of peoplehave this perspective that if I

(12:56):
want to heal, I have to godirectly to the source and I
have to see it head on.
And I need to access thisinformation right, because if I
want to heal something, I can'tfix it.
I can't heal it until I knowwhat it is.
And I need to access thisinformation right, because if I
want to heal something, I can'tfix it.
I can't heal it until I knowwhat it is and I experience it.
And this is such I'm so sorryfor my male listeners a
male-centered way of healing isthat must find problem right.

(13:20):
I'm just like caveman motorhere.
Must find problem right.
I'm just like caveman.
Caveman motor here must findproblem, must go hunt, must find
problem to fix right.
And this idea that healing hasto relate to uncovering
absolutely everything and seeingeverything from every angle and
by the way, this is in severalof my like akashic records books

(13:41):
on how to heal energy is to goin view that past life from
every fucking angle, so not justlike once.
You have to experience it fromeverybody's angle and then being
able to access.
It gives you the transparencyand in that understanding and
that accessing thatunderstanding heals it.
Yeah, that works when it's apast life that doesn't fucking

(14:05):
terrify you.
But if it's a past life thatfucking terrifies you, that's
going to do more damage thangood.
And so the number one thing thatI've learned with my team is
that healing does not have to behard, it does not have to hurt.
And I think when we release thechains of the ego and feeling
like you have to solve it byliving through it again and

(14:25):
experiencing it again andunderstanding it again and
sometimes you can just be like Idon't need to look at it Can
you just heal it for me?
Can you just heal my fuckingtoxic family lineage?
Can you just heal my addictionto alcohol?
Can you just heal these thingsthat I don't want anymore, these

(14:50):
things that I don't wantanymore, and spirit will do it
Right.
Like that blows my mind, thatblows my clients.
My, we don't have to do allthis hard work, we don't have to
make it hard.
We can heal without having tosee or experience it.
Yeah, doesn't this go againsttherapists, everybody?
We don't have to talk itthrough if you don't want to
talk it through, and so healingdoes not need to hurt, and I

(15:12):
think that is the biggest lessonthat I've learned.
I have to say on this list thatthat is the lesson I'm
processing right now.
I'm going through right nowthat healing does not need to
hurt.
I do not need to feel pain inorder to heal that pain.
We can heal quietly, we canheal gently, we can heal kindly
with love.
It doesn't always have to be agiant clash or collision or

(15:34):
fight of the ego.
Sometimes we can just chooselove and let it go.
Okay, moving on.
Hang on.
Spirit's still talking to me.
What did I miss, spirit?
Nothing, move on.
Okay.
Two okay, um, okay, got it.

(16:02):
It's really funny because, um,there's like three of them that
go together.
So I think I'm going to takethese three that are next and
kind of smush them into oneSorry, I thought there was going
to be 10.
We're going to smush thesethings together.
So what comes after healing?
After you've done the work, after maybe you've looked at it,
maybe you've healed it on yourown without having to have it

(16:24):
hurt, which is freakingfantastic.
If you do that, what comesafter healing is immense joy,
unstoppable and unconditionallove and in a sense of peace.
I could never even describe toyou what that feels like.

(16:47):
The biggest thing, or the bestway I can explain it, is you
have energetic armor that's likeTeflon and everything just
rolls off of you without youneeding to react to it, without
you having your ego pop up, toreact to it, without you having

(17:10):
your ego pop up and without youfeeling like you need to control
or get the better of somebodybecause they've wronged you.
And I think this is such a wildfeeling that I've really come
into this year is not beingbothered by the lessons that
come my way and instead beingable to pause in the moment,

(17:32):
reflect on I wonder why this iscoming my way and asking what
can I learn from it?
And just being able to take outmy human brain, my ego-centered
brain, and really think aboutthings that come my way that I
don't like, that I don't expectthat catch me off guard.

(17:52):
That can be perceived as areally big negative experience.
I literally am saying okay, mysoul plan.
What's the lesson here?
What am I here to learn?
Awesome, what am I going to fixtoday?
Like what am I?
What problems do I have that Ineed to fix what's the journey,
what's the perspective, and so Inever take anything that

(18:12):
happens to me I'm going to talkabout this in a second, so pause
for a second.
As an ego hit, I always take itas my soul is giving me another
lesson, my guides are giving meanother, another lesson so I can
get closer and closer andcloser to my goals for this
lifetime.
So I say thank you, can I haveanother?
But I will say that, eventhough what comes after healing

(18:40):
is this energetic Teflon, theego is still there.
So and that's part of this islike what is this number four B?
Because we're human and we cannever actually get rid of our
egos, unfortunately.
But being able to recognize andseparate out me and my soul's

(19:02):
lessons from my ego centeredresponse, my human response,
which is just my nervous systemthat wants to keep me safe and
protected and away from harm, isbeing able to be like Whoa,
okay, I can feel that coming in.
Thank you for trying to keep mesafe.
Ego, caveman, brain, I'm goingto put you to the side and I'm
going to continue forward withmy lesson.
So, although there is thissense of energetic armor, there

(19:26):
is this underlying ego thatnever does go away.
But again, this is part of yournervous system response to keep
you safe.
This is part of the humanevolution that we cannot,
unfortunately, turn off.
But it's so lovely to be ableto keep that in check and not
let my ego caveman brain rulethe decisions, rule my life

(19:47):
based on fear, and instead I getto turn that off when it comes
on and I get to choose my soul'slessons of love and learning.
Instead I and again, I can'teven, I cannot even tell you
what that feels like, becausehere's here's an example from

(20:07):
just this weekend alone.
I'm going to try not to spout onand on like I normally do, but
essentially I was coaching myson's soccer game.
Yes, I'm coaching again thisseason, but I'm like Ted Lasso.
I don't really know the sportvery much.
I just mainly show up to corralthe 11 and 12 year old boys,
provide water and snacks and bethere like emotional crutch and

(20:31):
send the subs in.
That's my job.
Okay, my head coach is fuckingamazing.
She's played soccer for a verylong time.
She runs the drills, she runsthe practices, she's really the
head coach and I'm just there tolike be her bitch and take her
orders as I was telling my myweather vane, which is like I'm
not really a soccer coach, Ijust play one on TV.
That's literally what I do.

(20:51):
So this weekend my head coachwas away for a game and both of
our goalies for the season wereout.
So it was little, only dingwith missing a key player on our
team and coaching 11 boys thisweekend at a soccer game.
And I was freaking out and thenspirit came in to remind me

(21:13):
this is just a game, this isjust one moment.
Can you make it a fun day?
Can you change your perspectiveand not be stressed and make
this a fun experience?
Because the goal is not thatthey win, the goal is that they
have fun.
So I calmed my ego.
I went to this game and Icoached it the best I could
possibly coach.
I put my poor son in goal thewhole game.

(21:36):
He did not like it, but I hadno one else and I was like
you're my son, go and go.
And even though I wasfloundering a little bit right,
I was just there to have fun.
The kids had fun.
I had them subbing out, theyknew their positions, they
played really well, they hustledhard.
There wasn't a lot of coachingthat needed to be done, which

(21:57):
was fucking incredible.
And meanwhile the coach on theother bench the team we were
playing had three coaches, afield full of kids, so it's nine
on the field, and then heprobably had six on the bench,
six other kids on the bench.
That coach was screaming attheir kids.

(22:20):
He was screaming at them, hewas telling them when they were
playing wrong.
He was telling them likeeverything out of this coach was
very loud, very negative, veryemotionally like, and even to
the point where he was yellingat the kids who were not playing
, who were waiting to be subbedin.
He was yelling at them all tosit on the bench.

(22:40):
Can you tell a bunch of 12 yearolds to sit on the bench for an
hour and a half?
Needless to say, I was kind oflaughing in my head a little bit
about how this coach was.
The is the total opposite of me,like total opposite of me,
wanting to make sure he's whenwinning, want to make sure that

(23:02):
he's controlling the teamliterally controlling the
players who aren't even playingthe game and yelling and being
negative.
And there I am, just like mylittle self over there on the
side being like good job, guys, kick that ball, pass it.
Hey, you ready to step out?
Come on out, go grab a sip ofwater.
When you're ready to come in,come up and say hi to me and
we'll get you back in.

(23:23):
Like this was literally how Icoach.
And so I'm cracking up at this, because who do you think won
the game?
We did, we won three, nothing.
We shut out the other team witha goalie my son, who's never
really played goalie in his lifebefore we shut them out.
And not only that, but in themiddle of the game I'm

(23:45):
complimenting the team.
I'm doing, I'm like you guysare doing so good, you're doing
so great, you're staying in yourpositions, you're, you're,
you're hustling hard, you'repassing.
You guys are really likeputting the pressure on Great
job, great, great job.
And then one of the kids on theteam I love him.
He's such a, he's such a cute,cute little guy.
He's like well, it's becauseyou're such a great coach, we

(24:06):
love you as a coach.
Dude, can you even?
Can you even?
So that is the sense of peacethat I want to talk about is
because when I just let go ofcontrol and I trust that spirit
has it and I'm just here for theride.
It takes all of the pressureoff and I'm just, you, just
enjoy it.
You get to sit back and enjoyit.

(24:26):
Instead, all of the pressureoff and I'm just you, just enjoy
it.
You get to sit back and enjoyit instead of trying to control
everything.
And that is the sense of peacethat I'm talking about, even
when you're coaching 1112 yearolds.
Anyway, moving along with thenext one is that there are, in
fact, egos, egos everywhere inthe spiritual space, and I don't

(24:49):
think, when I started myjourney, I knew how many egos
there are, because you think, ifthese people are metaphysical,
oh, they must be so enlightened, right?
You think, oh, my gosh, thesepeople, oh, wow, oh, they can
connect to spirits, they canconnect to the dead, they can

(25:11):
connect to the Akashic records.
Wow, they must be gifted.
I want to be more like them.
Right, they heal people.
Oh, my God, that's so selfless.
But the reality is, this is thefucking worst place for
spiritual egos.
This is the fucking worst placefor spiritual egos, and I

(25:31):
personally this is definitely mytrauma, I need to get over but
I don't trust a lot of theteachers out there.
I don't trust a lot of themetaphysical practitioners out
there.
I think that they start for theright reason.
I'm going to get there for asecond.
But I think a lot of them getreally lost on the way about
being gifted, right Of feelinggifted, of feeling better than
everyone else, of having specialabilities that other people

(25:52):
don't have, and I think thatgoes to a lot of people's heads.
And so there's this really big,big red flag.
I wish I knew when I startedthis journey of who to watch out
for.
And thank God I started mycareer working with like
salespeople, because I can spotthem a mile away.
Thank God I have the familythat I have and I can spot

(26:15):
manipulative, narcissisticbehavior, no fucking problem.
And if I didn't know that, if Ididn't come from these
backgrounds, I would have nofucking clue and I would
probably be following some ofthe most toxic leaders out there
that exist.
And so some of the red flagsand I've talked about this in
other podcast episodes but like,if they tell you they're going

(26:35):
to teach you something and theydon't, and you have to sign on
for the next class like red flagrun right If they don't teach
you things because you're notready for it yet.
Red flag, run right If they'retelling you you can't do
something red flag run.
Right, because no one can tellyou what your journey is but you

(26:56):
and your team.
No one can tell you whetherwhat you're doing is right or
wrong or high integrity or not.
That's up to you and your team.
Right, and just because you areinto this work and you can
access spirit guides and you canaccess departed loved ones and
the Akashic Records, does notmean that you're from the
highest and best integrity andit doesn't mean that you're not
doing that for your clients.

(27:16):
And so, just like everybodyelse, you know, being working in
the spiritual, metaphysicalspace doesn't take away the fact
that there's going to beassholes in this work and, in
fact, space doesn't take awaythe fact that there's going to
be assholes in this work and infact, they're going to be
overrun by assholes, becausethis is such an easy space for
them to run to and feel giftedand feel better than and feel

(27:37):
respected, without actuallyhaving to show or prove anything
, period.
And so I would watch out for theegos that exist and if somebody
just rubs you the wrong way, even if you have no reason for
it, even if you just like theirenergies off, they feel weird.
They said this one thing.
It really rubbed me the wrongway.
Then that's your sign to gofind somebody else, period, like

(28:00):
you don't need a legitimate,proven reason that you don't
want to be best friends orfollow or take these classes
from people.
Sometimes you can be like no,I'm good, I just think the vibe
is off and I'm going to go andthat's okay.
So be aware of all the egosthat exist in this metaphysical
space.
And then, along with that, isthe fact that I don't even know

(28:26):
what number I'm on anymore, thatwe can kind of all experience
different realities in this work.
This one's deep I hope youdon't mind me going deep for a
second and these ego-centeredspiritual people, they have
their own truth as well.
No-transcript is part of theirtruth and that is part of their

(28:54):
aligned energy, and you can feelthe vibration in their energy
to say what they're saying isabsolutely authentic and true to
their experience and it can betotally different than your
experience.
So a really good example is, um,this idea of demons.
Okay, let me just put this outhere for a second, because I

(29:18):
know people directly in my lifethat have had experience with
I'm going to, I'm, I'm going touse air quotes.
Demons, right, um, they've hadexperienced with low vibration
entities that have pulled theirhair in the shower, that have,
um, covered their house in bees, right, like they like.
And these are people that I100% trust and believe and I

(29:41):
knew because I was around themand I could feel some of the
lower vibration energy, whichwas not very pleasant.
Okay, so I've been in thatsituation where I felt it before
.
So do I think that these lowvibration quote unquote demons
or entities exist?
Yes, I do.
Vibration quote unquote demonsor entities exist.
Yes, I do, but also, from myreality, I've never experienced

(30:08):
it.
I've never experienced it and Idon't know what or why or how,
but I have always maintained thefact that they don't mess with
me.
They're not allowed to messwith me, right?
And so when people come at mesaying, well, I see shadow
people, they're demons, I'mbeing followed and even you know
, my religious fanatic familyare worried about like me going
to hell and me having demons andlike that can absolutely be
their truth that they believethat, but in my experience it's

(30:30):
never happened.
Do I think it's real?
Yes, but also my reality saysthat if I don't give them the
energy.
If I'm not fear based with them, then they don't bother me, and
that's my truth.
And your reality and truthmight be very, very different
than my reality and truth, andit doesn't mean either of us are
wrong.
It just means that ourrealities are different.

(30:54):
So, when you're watching allthese spiritual people on social
media or reading their books orwatching their shows, there can
be such I'm going to say thismindfuck of like being able to
read them, being able to feeltheir energy, being able to feel
that they're authentic and whatthey're saying is true and the

(31:15):
fact that they believe it andyou can.
You can feel right into thatvibration of truth but, at the
same time, feel so whollydisconnected to that truth and
out of alignment with theirtruth, and that can be really,
really difficult to reconcile.
And this is again going back to, I think, the first one that I
went to is like you need to findyour own way with this, because

(31:36):
your truth is going to bedifferent than other people's
truths, and that's okay.
And so, again, stay in yourlane.
As they used to say at one ofmy old corporate jobs be like
the horses in Central Park, like, put the blinders on, don't
look left or right, follow yourown path, follow your own truth.
It won't lead you wrong, period.
Okay, and the last three thatI'm going to do also kind of

(32:05):
come together in a package deal.
So the first one is that I'vesaid it before and I'll say it
again A lot of people think thatthe spiritual journey is being
of service to others, the innerwork to provide the highest
integrity, healing, helping, protecting of your clients.

(32:45):
Because if you don't do theinner work, then you're coming
at things from a biased and alow vibration perspective and
that's going to do more harmthan good.
And so that's why it's soimportant that people who come
into this space realize that thejourney of spirit is actually
the journey inward and thejourney of healing and removing

(33:08):
chains and behaviors andpatterns that no longer serve
you, that have been placed onyou by society, by your family,
by your departed loved ones, byyour ancestors.
Right and removing these chains, one-on-one of these things
that are no longer aligned toyou, that had never been aligned
to you but they were placed onyou, and really coming back into

(33:29):
your whole self, your wholehealed self, and again creating
that spiritual, energetic Teflonin your body that allows you to
just show up as you and walkyour journey and achieve your
soul's purpose.
But a lot of people don'trealize that in order to walk
the path I cannot tell you howmany people come to me and

(33:50):
they're like I want to know mysoul's purpose.
And I was like, well, we got towork on your healing, we got to
work on releasing those chainsbefore we can really help you
down the path of your soul'sjourney.
And it's not everybody.
A lot of people do do the work, but there is the sense of
undoing before the becoming.
This is going to.

(34:31):
2025 is definitely the year ofthe undoing.
So I really, really want youpeople to know I wish I knew
that this is a journey inwardbefore it becomes to make
mistakes and have to heal thosetwo.
And then the last two really dogo hand in hand.
And this is something that isdefinitely true, more of a
revelation for me this year, atthis moment, now more than ever,

(34:51):
because I think that, as I'vereally done a lot of the heavy
lifting, the heavy removal againof past life, family lineage,
ancestral trauma chains, thisyear alone, what I'm realizing
is the more, the more I healback to the previous one, the

(35:16):
more that I learn to trust myintuition and trust spirit,
because they're giving me theopportunities to heal, they're
giving me the opportunities tolearn my lessons.
They're giving me theopportunities to release what no
longer serves me, healinganother opportunity for me to

(35:39):
get closer to my fully alignedself.
I realized that spirit truly ishere to support my journey, to
support me becoming my highestand best incarnation in this
lifetime.
And with that comes this 100%trust and belief and
understanding that my spiritteam truly is here to give me

(35:59):
what I envision to be my bestlife, or better, and that I can
100% trust them in whatever theythrow my way good or bad,
whether I expect it or notexpect it, where I'm thankful
for the lesson or not thankfulfor the lesson, they are all
things that are helping meevolve exactly the way my soul

(36:20):
has planned in this lifetime, and so I am just learning to
surrender and surrender andsurrender and truly trust them
that they are leading the waytowards my highest and best,
most aligned life, towards myhighest and best, most aligned
life.
And I think that for some of us,that can be really hard to

(36:42):
trust someone we can't see, someone we can't always hear,
maybe you can't hear them.
Trust somebody that?
Why on earth would I trust?

(37:06):
I can't even trust my family.
How can I trust somebody Ican't even see right, that I
don't even know?
And so that lesson of trustwith your guides is really is
what's going to help you movefrom a good life to a great life
.
And if you don't like the wordguide, you can use your higher
self, whoever it is that isguiding you on this earthly
incarnation, whether that's yourhigher self or, honestly, your
intuition too, because it can beyour intuition leading you down

(37:27):
these shadows, down thesefootsteps, down these paths that
maybe you're uncomfortable with, but trusting that they're
going to lead you to a beautifulparadise.
That's going to be exactly whatyou envisioned, or better.
And similarly, a lot of us inthis us myself included, which

(37:50):
is why I use the word us worry.
Am I going down the wrong path?
Am I making the wrong choice?
Am I going or making a decisionfor something that isn't for my
highest and best good?
And what is so interesting tome that comes with that trust is
knowing that our journeys areperfect.
They're perfect Even with freewill and making bad choices.

(38:12):
Our journeys are perfectbecause we are meant to go off
the path.
We are meant to learnadditional lessons.
And so, again, I trust thatevery step I take is exactly the
step I'm supposed to take.
And when you start thinkingabout it that way that, no
matter what, even if I took thisone misstep, my team is going

(38:35):
to get me back on my path.
My team is going to help me fixthat, learn my lesson and get
me back to where I need to go,you start realizing there are no
mistakes.
You start releasing thepressure of making decisions
because you know that, no matterwhat decision you make, you're
going to end up on your highestand best path.
You're going to get thereeventually.
There might be a little bitslower, there might be a detour,
but you're going to get thereeventually.
And when you stop worrying somuch about is this the right

(39:00):
step, is this the right time?
Is this the right thing thatI'm supposed to do?
Spirit will always have abackup plan to make sure that
you stay in alignment.
And it's fucking awesome.
It's fucking awesome.
And then, along with that, thelast one I want to cover here
today is the more that you trustin the magic of spirit, the

(39:22):
more that you're going to seethat magic shows up every single
day in your life.
I can't even tell you how muchnow I see from spirit dropping
me signs, synchronicities, likeknowledge bombs, like it's to
the point where it's almostcomical, like I want to really
have an intuitive journal that Icarry with me, so much so that

(39:44):
I've made it electronic on myiPad.
If I actually wrote down all ofmy signs and synchronicities
and angel numbers and thingsthat I see on a daily basis,
like I couldn't even I would berunning out of space on my
notebooks, on my digitalnotebooks, right, because it's

(40:04):
all day, every day, and I knowthat sounds crazy, but those of
you who know, you know.
Like even to the point where Iwas driving my son to soccer
practice today and he wanted tolisten to Billy Joel.
Like Billy Joel, okay, cool, myson barely knows who he is.
He just heard the song Pianoman last week and loved it.
So now he's been asking for meto play Billy Joel and I was

(40:26):
like, oh wait, there's one song.
There's one song from BillyJoel I remember I used to love,
so I start searching for it andI know all of them.
Like I love Vienna and I can'tremember all the names of all
the songs, but like I'mlistening to a few of them and
I'm like, no, no, I got likefive minutes left until we get
to practice.
I'm going to fast forward tillI find that song that I love and
I can't remember what it wasand we get to it I'm like, oh,
it's this one and it was movingout.

(40:50):
And that whole song is about howthis guy decides.
God, I feel like I'm explaining, I feel like I'm mansplaining
this to you, but this guy saysyou know, if that's moving up,
then I'm moving out.
So we talk about.
He talks about like live in thedream, like who needs a house
down in Hackensack?
Right, like live in the dream, like all these people have these
ideas of the dreams.

(41:11):
And if that is the ideas ofpeople's dreams, if that's
moving up, then he's going tomove out.
He wants to move out to thecountry, right?
I loved this song as a littlegirl Loved it.
I would play it on repeat.
And now what?
20, 30 years later, many, manyyears later, listening to that

(41:33):
song again, from my eyes and myperspective now, it's just so
funny, right?
And this is part of the magicthat I'm talking about is this
whole song describes my life.
This whole song describes how Iwill never align to what
society deems as success.
Right, I don't buy intosociety's vision of success, of

(41:57):
money, of big houses, of allthese things.
Right, moving to the city?
Right, I dream of a quiet life.
I dream of living for me.
I dream of moving out to thecountry.
I literally live in the country.
Right, I dream of being freeand letting life lead me,
instead of letting other peopletell me what's good or bad.
And so, like, listening to thissong.

(42:18):
Are you going to go listen toit after this?
I hope you do.
Listening back, it's not agreat song, I don't know, but as
a young girl I knew that's whatI wanted.
That's who I have to be.
Like, even to it's going tosound crazy the sound of the
motorcycle at the end.
To it's going to sound crazythe sound of the motorcycle at

(42:39):
the end.
My uncle that comes through inall of my readings ever owned a
Harley repair shop.
Like he comes through all thetime.
Every time I hear a motorcycle,I think of him.
It's amazing how your team, you, your higher self, whoever this

(43:01):
is drops you hints every fuckingstep of the way, about who you
are, where you're supposed to be, what you're, what you're doing
right, and they're alwaysgiving you these tidbits of
you're doing a great job, keepgoing, this is exactly where you
need to be, this is exactly thedecision that you need to make
Right, and they're alwaysguiding and blessing your
journey and letting you knowyou're exactly where you need to

(43:24):
be right now.
And so when I say the magic isall around you, the magic is all
around you, and sometimes inthe moment, you don't recognize
it, but but, and when you lookback or when you have these
moments of clarity, like I didtoday listening to that song,
you're like holy shit, thiswhole fucking thing was planned
out since day one, when Irealized the fact that I

(43:50):
couldn't see spirit for most ofmy life, and now it's literally
what I live for.
It doesn't surprise me that Iwanted to be an altar girl
growing up, because I alwayswanted that close spiritual
connection.
I just hadn't found the rightoutlet.
I hadn't found my path with it.
But you can see in the themesthroughout my life how I've been
looking for my path.

(44:11):
I've been looking exactly forwhat I'm looking for now.
I just didn't find the rightoutlet for it and find the right
home.
It wasn't my time yet, but mysoul knew exactly where it
needed to go and so follow themagic Like trust, the fucking
magic, because we are not hereto have horrible lives, we are

(44:32):
not here to be miserable.
We are here to learn lessons.
Yes, we are here to progressour soul.
Yes, absolutely.
Sometimes that can be a littlehard, sometimes that's daunting,
sometimes that's challenging, but at the same time, we are
here in the physical world andwe also are supposed to have fun
while we're here.
We're supposed to and beenjoying our journey while we're
here and the magic reminds youthat we are living in the matrix

(44:57):
, that nothing is real and thatsomeday, very soon or very
distant either way, our soulsees this as a blip.
This will all be over and we'llliterally sit there in heaven
like a meme and be like why soserious?
So I'm going to challenge you.

(45:18):
Stop being so serious.
Let the magic in, because it'sGod, it's fucking amazing, this
life is fucking amazing.
And so that rounds out probablyone of my longest episodes on
what I wish I knew when Istarted this metaphysical
journey and how I would notchange a thing about my path and

(45:43):
my journey.
I would not change one thing, and I'm going to encourage you
to really reflect on, if you'rein your spiritual journey, what
are you so appreciative of now?
What do you see that you'velearned, you've overcome?
What are you so appreciative ofnow?
What do you, what do you seethat you've learned, you've
overcome?
What are you proud of yourselfof?
Like what have you releasedcontrol of what?

(46:05):
Where have you evolved in a waywith this work that you would
have never evolved if you werenever given the opportunity to
work in this modality?
That's what I'm talking about.
That is the magic of spirit.
Thank you so much, everybody.
This was a really fun episode.
I'm going to keep doing theselook back seeds lessons because

(46:25):
I think they're so important, and probably in another few
years I'll do another one ofwhat I wish I knew when I
created this episode.
I digress Look for the magic.
Everybody, I hope you have awonderful, wonderful day.
Take care.
