Speaker 1 (00:07):
All right, what's up
everybody, and welcome to the
unlearned podcast.
This is freedom Friday, wherewe are going to talk about
something that we have unlearnedrecently, right, I know you're
used to seeing Ruth Abigail onfreedom Fridays.
She's let me join the fray, ok.
So we're going to have thisgoing to be a little
(00:28):
encouragement corner, all right.
So I'm going to get in on someof these so that we can just
continue to talk about whatwe're unlearning as we go.
Friends, right, god is doing somuch, so much is happening, and
he's moving swiftly, and that'sexactly what I want to talk to
us about today the swift hand ofGod moving in our lives.
(00:48):
Right, because it is definitelysomething that has has has had
me unlearning in these streets,right.
So first, I want to thank allof you listeners.
Our community is growing.
We love having you guys, welove talking to you guys about
(01:08):
everything that we've beenunlearning, both in our 20s, now
in our 30s, and we want you tobe a part of the community
officially, okay.
So if you have not yet, pleaselike, share and subscribe.
Okay, let's get into it.
I want to speak specifically tothose of you that have been
waiting.
Right, we have all had a seasonsomewhere in our lives where we
(01:29):
have waited on God to dosomething.
We've waited on something inour life to change.
We've waited for something toshift, whether that was
relationally right, whether thatwas financially okay, because
everybody has waited for a check, everybody has waited for a
financial increase right,whether that's.
You're waiting for something toshift in the lives of people
(01:50):
around you.
You're waiting on God to dosomething miraculous.
You're waiting on God to dosomething that's going to blow
your mind.
You're waiting on the thingsthat you've petitioned the Lord
for, right, and oftentimes, in aseason of waiting, we build
routines.
We build routines that make uscomfortable.
We build routines that make usfeel like we're making progress
(02:12):
toward those things that we'vebeen asking God for, and a lot
of times, our routines keep usin the space that we're in and
they're preparing us for wherewe're going, but they are not
the breakthrough point.
Right?
Your routine is a place for youto learn.
Your routine is a place for youto grow.
It's a place for you to getestablished, right.
(02:33):
But your routine will not getyou to the place that God has
destined for you to get to atyour next level.
Right, and so I feel like, inthis 2025 moment, we're all
getting to a space where God isrequiring us to break routine in
order to get to the next level.
Right, and sometimes breakingroutine can look like you got to
(02:55):
change your mindset aboutsomething, right, you're used to
talking negatively abouteverything, or you're used to
being really constructive, right, and picking apart everything,
right.
Right, it might be changingyour attitude, right.
I've been telling people I'vehad to turn my mind off with the
things that God is doing rightnow, because I know that my mind
(03:18):
will talk me out of where he'strying to push me to, right.
So it might be your thoughtpatterns.
It might be your attitude, right, you might be a person
who's used to just being, youknow, being nonchalant about
things being laid back, beingcasual, going with the flow,
because that is the routine thatyou have built to keep yourself
on the level that you're at.
(03:38):
But, friends, here's where Iwant you to start doing the
unlearning we are going to haveto in this next season unlearn
the routines that have kept usstuck at the place that we're
asking God to deliver us from.
Okay, and I'm not saying thatyou're in a bad place, right, a
lot of us are not in a bad place, but God does not want you to
(04:00):
settle for good when he has bestright.
He doesn't want you to settlefor decent when he has amazing
right.
And so when we're trying to getto these levels of amazing, we
are going to have to break theroutines right that keep us at
good enough right, and I want totalk to you specifically about
(04:23):
the way I've been seeing God dothat in my life.
Okay, friends, so I'm in thisnew process where God is
literally bringing me out of onespace and delivering me into
another.
I've been asking him and askinghim.
I told you guys that I had anhour commute.
I've been asking God like Ineed to get closer to the school
.
The Lord is make.
Literally, the Lord is allowingthat to happen for me.
But what I want to tell youguys is is that the point of
(04:46):
your deliverance is not going tohappen at the point of your
complacency, the pace of it,right.
God is going to have to shiftyou when it says that he will
redeem the time.
The way that he redeems it isthat he has to come in and he
has to rush you into the nextphase of your life, it's not
(05:06):
going to happen at the pace thatyou're at now.
Right.
So if you're used to makingfast decisions and you're used
to go, go going because that'sthe routine you set, it may be
that the Lord will set you down, settle you down and slow you
down in order to move into thenext season of your life.
Right.
If you're like me and you'reused to carefully considering
(05:31):
all of the details and all ofthe facts and all, and trying to
understand every little bit ofsomething, right, because that
is the routine that you havebuilt in order to be comfortable
where you're at, the Lord isgoing to literally pick you up
and put you on the speedway, right To get to where you're
going.
(05:51):
Right, but God is going tobreak your routine.
But let me tell you somethingright?
The Bible says I'm in Malachi.
Come with me, friends, toMalachi, I'm in Malachi.
The third chapter, the 10thverse, is oftentimes talked
about for tithing.
Right, because it specificallytalks about tithing.
It says bring ye all the tithesinto the storehouse that there
(06:12):
may be meat in mine house, andprove me.
Now.
This is the part I want to getwith here, with saith, the Lord
of hosts, which is the Lord ofthe armies, the Lord of the
battle right, the Lord of hosts,if I will not open you the
windows of heaven, I want tofocus on that windows, friend.
Listen.
That window.
(06:33):
We are finding ourselves at aspecific time, at a specific
(06:55):
place with a specific set ofinstructions that are going to
get us from our good to ournever could have imagined
they're going to this specifictime and this specific place and
this specific set ofinstructions are going to get us
, for I can settle for this tothe Lord, I can't even believe
that you love me this much to dothis for me.
(07:16):
Right, it's a window.
And there is a window coming, friend, where the things that
you've been waiting for aregoing to come for you suddenly,
because God is going to open thewindow from heaven and it's
going to pour out into earth.
What I need you to be ready todo is to be ready to unlearn.
Whatever mindsets, whateverattitudes, whatever structure
(07:43):
you've built up that has allowedyou to stay complacent and has
allowed you to stay comfortable.
I need you to quickly take thatoff and and whatever you need
to do for me.
I told you I had to turn mythoughts off.
I was like you know what?
I'm not even going to thinkabout it, I'm just going to do
whatever it is the Lord told me,right?
I was like Peter jumping out ofthe boat.
(08:04):
Now I will tell you once I gotout on that boat, out of the
boat, I did look at the wind andthe waves and I was like wait a
minute, lord.
What are we doing?
What is happening?
But I promise you, if you wantto get to the place where you
see the manifestation of thethings you've been asking for,
it is time.
Turn off the routine and allowGod to open a window to get you
(08:26):
somewhere new.
Okay, listen, friends, we'reunlearning and we're getting
into our blessed place all 2025.
Ok, go through the window, getin position, get in the place
that God tells you to get to getthe right mindset, because
there is a window that will comesuddenly and God is going to
(08:49):
change your pace to get youthere quickly.
All right, listen, friends, Icannot wait to hear the
testimonies of the windows thatyou see God opening in your life
this week and all year long.
So hit us up in the chat box.
