SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Welcome to the
Unmuted CEO Podcast.
(00:02):
I'm Tammy Maynard, and this iswhere Montrepreneurs come to
turn quiet potential into seeingpaid impact.
If you've been building insilence, second guessing your
voice, or wondering when you'llfinally step into the spotlight,
you're in the right place.
Here there's no fluff, noperfection, just real
conversations about visibility, confidence, and building a
(00:22):
business that works with yourlife, not against it.
So grab your coffee girl, yourtea, or whatever keeps you sane
today, and let's dive in.
Today, I want to get realvulnerable and real about
something every single woman inbusiness faces.
Even if she never says it outloud.
(00:43):
What do you do when you feelstuck?
Not just a little off, not justa slow week.
I'm talking about those deep, dry seasons.
When it feels like God issilent, business is slow, your
energy is low, and nothing youtry seems to work.
If you've ever wondered, is thisseason ever going to end?
Am I missing something?
(01:04):
Did I do something wrong?
This episode is just for you.
So get cozy, grab your favoritedrink, and lean in, sis.
This is one of thoseconversations we all need.
Let's take a deep breath.
Sis, I want you to know you'renot alone.
I know what it's like to wake upfeeling uninspired.
To stare at your vision boardand wonder, God, was I wrong
(01:24):
about this dream?
To keep serving your audience, family, and clients while your
own tank is on empty.
Let's name it.
Maybe sales are low.
Maybe your content isn't gettingengagement.
Maybe you feel spiritually dry, like your prayers are bouncing
off the ceiling.
Maybe you're comparing your slowseason to someone else's
highlight reel.
And the hardest part, nobodyreally talks about it.
(01:46):
We see the wins, the lunches, the hashtag booked and busy, but
not the tears behind the scenes.
Since even the most successfulwomen hit stuck seasons.
It doesn't mean you're notcalled.
It doesn't mean you've lost youranointing.
It definitely does not meanyou're failing God.
I want to tell you the truthabout my own dress seasons.
There was a time I was lunching, posting, showing up, praying,
(02:09):
and nothing seemed to be moving.
Clients were dropping off, ideasfell flat, and I was exhausted,
spiritually and emotionally.
I started wondering, God, did Imake a mistake?
Are you even listening?
Is this business still your willfor me?
But here's what I learnedlooking back.
I can see it so vividly now.
God wasn't punishing me.
(02:30):
He was inviting me into a newdepth.
He was calling me to rest, notto quit, but to realign.
He wanted me to learn what myworth was, not in my output, my
following, or my income, but insimply being his daughter.
The dry season is where rootgrows.
If everything was easy andalways moving, I'd never stop to
(02:52):
check.
Am I still aligned with myassignment?
Is my heart still surrendered?
Am I measuring success by fruitor by faithfulness?
Let's dig deeper, sis.
Why do we go through these stuckor dry seasons?
God is growing you in the quiet.
Sometimes God withholds a fruitso he can work on your roots.
He's deepening your character, stretching your faith, and
(03:14):
preparing you for what's next.
Your assignment is shifting.
Maybe you've outgrown your oldvision, but the new one isn't
clear yet.
God is protecting you fromrunning into something that's
not for you.
You need real rest.
Hustle culture will run youragged, girl.
Sometimes the most spiritualthing you can do is nap,
journal, or just be still.
(03:35):
Pruning always precedesfruitfulness.
Sometimes God has to cut awayold mindsets, relationships,
habits, or even clients andoffers that no longer serve you
in your next season.
Let's make this real andactionable.
Step one, go back to the lastthing God said.
What was the last clearinstruction you received from
God?
Are you still being faithful toit?
(03:57):
Or did you get distracted bysomeone else's lame?
Sometimes we get stuck becausewe're chasing too many things at
once.
Go back.
Anchor yourself in the last wordGod gave you.
Step two, create space to hearagain.
Take walks, journal your honestprayers, no filters.
Turn off the noise.
Unfollow accounts that triggercomparison.
(04:17):
Fast from content, not justfood.
Sometimes you need to detox yourmind.
Make space for God's voice tobreak through.
He still speaks, even if itfeels silent.
Step three, nourish your spirit.
Play worship music, even whenyou don't feel like it.
Read scripture, even if it'sjust one verse a day.
(04:37):
Write a gratitude list of what'sworking, even in this season.
Rest on purpose.
Counsel what you can and giveyourself grace, have mercy.
Step four, take tiny, faithfulsteps.
Post one encouraging story, evenif you feel meh.
Reach out to one old client orfriend.
Pray a bold prayer.
Something like, God, show me onething to do today and I'll do
(05:01):
it.
Sometimes the door to your nextseason is a tiny act of
obedience.
Step five, lean into sisterhood.
Don't isolate.
Share with a trusted friend, mentor, or in our sisterhood
group.
Ask for prayer.
Let people into your process.
They can hold up your arms whenyou're tired.
Sis, don't miss this.
Sometimes some of your greatesttestimonies, downloads, business
(05:25):
ideas, and heart healing willhappen in the dry season if you
allow God to meet you there.
You may not see the fruit yet,but roots are being established.
You're being protected fromthings not meant for you.
You're learning to love yourselfbeyond what you do or produce.
When the new season comes, andit will, you'll have a
foundation that can withstandthe blessing.
(05:46):
Let's get reflective fist.
Take these to your journal orprayer time.
Where am I feeling stuck rightnow?
Is God redirecting or asking meto rest?
What is one thing I can releaseto God today?
Who can I ask for support inthis season?
How can I practice gratitudeeven if it feels for us?
These are honest reflections andjournal prompts you can use.
(06:08):
Since your stuck season isn'tyour final chapter, you're not
forgotten, you're notdisqualified, and you're most
definitely not behind.
You're in the process, andprocess is holy, girl.
Don't rush what God is doing foryou.
Don't shame yourself for feelingtired, discouraged, or lost.
Instead, let this be your rootseason.
The season where you become soanchored in God's love, so at
(06:30):
peace with your process thatnothing and no one can uproot
you when the harvest comes.
And if you need a sister to praywith you, DM me girl.
Drop your prayer request in oursisterhood group.
You don't ever have to journeythrough this alone.
Let us pray.
Father God, right now I pray forevery single woman listening who
(06:51):
is in a dry, stuck, or silentseason.
You see her, Lord.
You see the tears she hasn'tshared, the fears she can barely
put into words, the hope thatfeels just out of reach.
God, I ask that you come closeto her in the quiet.
Remind her that you never leaveor forsake us, not in the
valley, not in the wilderness, not even in the waiting.
(07:12):
Lord, if she's tired, pleasegive her rest.
Not just physical rest, but deepsoul rest.
If she's doubting, speak yourtruth louder than her fears.
If she's lost, show her the nextright step, even if it's small.
God, uproot every lie offailure, shame, and not enough.
Plant her feet on the foundationof your love.
(07:34):
A love that never runs out, never gives up, and never keeps
score.
If she needs to let go, help hersurrender.
If she needs to grieve, hold herclose.
If she needs courage, fill herwith holy boldness.
God, I pray for fresh joy in themorning.
I pray for peace in the waiting.
I pray for provision in thelack.
I pray for new community, newclarity, and new vision.
(07:57):
Let her know her season is notwasted.
Let her know you are workingeven when she can't see it.
And when the time is right, lether blossom in ways she never
dreamed.
We trust you, Lord.
We trust your process, yourtiming, and your love.
In Jesus' name I pray.
Amen.
