SPEAKER_00 (00:01):
Hey beautiful.
Welcome back to Beyond theComfort Zone Podcast, where
faith-giving women in businessis a bold, faith-filled
conversation, real talk, anddisability strategies that need
to build business and lifestylecognitive.
I'm your host, Kenny Mayor, yourCEO of Bancy's sister in Christ
(00:21):
time.
I'm Nid CEO.
In today's episode, SIS is alove note and wake-up call all
at the same time.
Because I know so many of us,yes, even me, have been taught
to believe that our breakthroughcomes from working harder,
hustling more, doing all thethings, tasting the algorithm,
(00:44):
tasting perfection, honestly, tasting our own tails.
But today, we're going to talkabout the real overlook
superpower that will set youapart and change our whole life
and business.
Consistency.
Let's have a real conversation,sis.
How many times have you heardthese messages?
If you're not grinding, you'renot growing.
(01:06):
Sleep is for the broke.
Hustle harder if you want towin.
Sleep is for the weak.
The pressure is real and it'smost definitely on.
And for women, especially momand faith-driven entrepreneurs,
it can feel like you're eitheron 24-7 or you're falling
behind.
There was a time when I woreburnout like a badge of honor.
(01:29):
I would work myself into theground, serving clients, being
super mom, showing up foreveryone but myself.
I thought hustling was theanswer girl.
But you know what it left mewith?
Exhaustion, resentment, and abusiness that felt like a heavy
burden instead of a calling.
What about you?
You ever felt that way?
(01:50):
Have you ever felt like nomatter how hard you hustled, it
was never enough?
Have you ever looked at otherwomen online and thought, how
are you everywhere doingeverything all at the same time
while looking so put together?
What am I missing?
Girl, you ain't gonna lie.
Let's look the stuff though.
(02:10):
What if the breakthrough you'repraying for isn't in doing more,
but in doing less consistently?
Let me say that again.
Consistency is greater thanhustle.
Think about it.
The most successful, fulfilledwomen you admire, they're not
perfect and they're not grindingthemselves to the bone.
(02:32):
Based out their rhythm, theirsweet spot where they show up
steadily, intentionally, andmost importantly, authentically.
Since when I first found it out,I tried to post everywhere, be
in everything, learn everystrategy and saying yes to every
opportunity.
(02:53):
And I burnt out real fast.
But when I started focusing onconsistency over chaos, just
showing up dealing, sharing myreal story, posting even if it
wasn't perfect, going live, evenif my hair wasn't done.
The game changed.
Women started telling me, Tammy,I look forward to your post.
(03:14):
I always know I'll findsomething encouraging on your
feed.
Your energy is real andconsistent, and I trust you.
And you know what?
Trust is the currency ofbusiness.
Consistency breeds trust.
Trust open doors.
Doors bring opportunities,impact, and income.
(03:36):
Consistency doesn't mean nevermiss a day.
It means you keep showing upeven if imperfectly.
(03:57):
Since God isn't calling you tobe superwoman, he's calling you
to be faithful.
There's a scripture that changedmy mindset about consistency.
It says, Whoever can be trustedwith very little can be trusted
with what?
Find it in Luke chapter 6, verse10.
(04:17):
Faithfulness in the small thingsunlock big things for us.
Let's break it down.
Here's five ways to buildconsistency that fits your real
life.
Number one, pick your one thing.
Choose your platform.
Show up on a schedule you cankeep.
(04:37):
For me, Facebook, sometimesInstagram.
Number two, batch and schedule.
Spend an hour a week batchingyour content, batching your
captions, batching your emailsor even reels.
Use schedulers.
Set it and then forget about it.
Number three, setmicrocommitment.
(05:00):
Promise yourself small daily orweekly actions.
Like post once a week, one liveevery other week.
Small but consistent, right?
Number four, accountability andsisterhood.
Tell a friend or join a groupwhere you can check in weekly.
Celebrate your wins together.
(05:22):
And number five, grace overguilt.
If you miss a day or drop theball, it's okay.
Perfection is not required.
Persistency is there were weekswhen I went live with a baby on
my hip, her in a bonnet, nomakeup on, feeling sick, but I
(05:42):
still showed up.
And guess what?
That's what made me relatable, not perfect.
The key is to not look forperfection, just be you.
Your authentic, unapologeticyou.
Let's talk about the fruit whenyou're consistent.
(06:05):
When you are consistent, youbuild trust, and people buy from
you when they trust you.
Your message gets clearer eachand every time.
And at those times, you soundmore confident.
You attract the right women orthe right men to your community.
But either way, you'reattracting the audience you
want.
You create momentum that feelseasy, not forced.
(06:29):
You see God multiply your small, faithful seeds into real impact.
See, sometimes we want to goviral, but what we really need
is to go faithful.
Your anointing isn't in yourhustle, it's in your daily gift.
Think about it, sis.
A lot of us hustle and we grindeach and every day, each and
(06:50):
every week, or each and everymonth, hoping to hit that spark
just to go viral.
But if you have a smallfollowing, if you haven't quite
reached the peak of youraudience, then if you go viral,
will you be able to contain it?
Honestly, will you successfullybe able to respond to the
(07:12):
abundant amount of followersquestions that you will receive
each and every day?
My guess is you won't, becausewhen you go viral, it'll be a
rush that feels sort of likeecstasy, but you'll be slammed
into overwhelm.
Why?
(07:32):
Because you're not yet ready forthe amount of responsibility
that comes with going viral.
So let's focus on buildingourselves up to consistency,
getting used to building ouraudience, getting used to
responding, reaching out, engaging, that's what we should
(07:57):
focus on.
You're not behind, you're notlazy for resting, not even for
taking a step back.
You're not lazy for thinkingthat you should choose
consistency over chaos.
Speak this out loud, okay?
(08:19):
I choose faithfulness overfrenzy.
I choose grace over grind.
I choose consistency overcomparison.
Give yourself permission togrow, flow, and spin.
But the world's timeline is notGod's timeline.
(08:39):
And we all know God's timing isperfect.
Alright, Sue.
Here's your chance for thisweek.
I want you to first hit onevisibility commitment.
Maybe it's one post, one live, one email, or one DM.
(09:00):
Two, tell someone about it.
You can tell me, your beersbestie, a Facebook group,
whatever.
Number three, celebrate eachtime you follow through.
It doesn't matter how big orsmall your win is.
What matters is that youcelebrate it.
And number four, share it.
(09:22):
Tag your girl at Tammy Mainonunderscore official and use
