In 2020 , Stanford University announced that they would be cutting the wrestling program following the 2020-2021 season. This news turned Shane Griffith and his team's world upside down as they now had to deal with the monumental task of trying to save their wrestling program in addition to trying to compete during the pandemic. Despite the obstacles , Shane went on this year to become a PAC-12 Champion , PAC-12 Wrestler of the year , Outstanding wrestler of the NCAA and NCAA Champion. Today Shane and Anthony talk about Stanford's decision to cut the wrestling program , why we should never run from adversity, and why it's important to have the bigger picture in mind.
