I've been there. 10 YEARS locked up. Then building a business from nothing but a crappy 100 sq ft office with no A/C and barely room for 4 cars.
Here's the truth: that feeling of being "behind" is complete BS.
Six years ago I posted pics of that tiny shop on social media. Was SO PROUD of what little I had... while having NO CLUE what was coming.
Now? Got a full dealership moving 25-30 cars monthly. But guess what? I STILL feel like I'm just getting started!
That's the secret sauce right there. The most successful people are straight-up WEIRD with time - we celebrate how far we've come while acting like we're day one rookies.
I'm consistently late (drives my wife CRAZY) because I'm squeezing every last second out of whatever I'm doing. Not proud of it, but I refuse to waste a minute.
Look... if I'd focused on how much time I "lost" in prison instead of maximizing each day inside, I'd be nowhere.
The journey IS the destination. Don't get so caught up in some future fantasy that you miss the work that's right in front of your face.
You got this. Just show up TODAY. The rest will follow.
