Islam for Veganism. With Zehra Abbas | Ep. 83

Today I challenge you to dream of a world where 2 billion Muslims, inspired by their faith, decide to become vegan and embrace the animal cause. At the forefront of making this dream a reality is Green Islam, an initiative of Kind World Media, that reminds Muslims of how modern consumption and lifestyle practices are incompatible with the original ethical spirit of Islam.

To discuss this pioneering work, I have with me none other than the founder of Kind World Media and Green Islam, Zehra Abbas. وَمَا مِن دَآبَّةٍۢ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا طَـٰٓئِرٍۢ يَطِيرُ بِجَنَاحَيْهِ إِلَّآ أُمَمٌ أَمْثَالُكُم ۚ مَّا فَرَّطْنَا فِى ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ مِن شَىْءٍۢ ۚ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يُحْشَرُونَ ٣٨

All living beings roaming the earth and winged birds soaring in the sky are communities like yourselves. We have left nothing out of the Record. Then to their Lord they will be gathered all together.
