Today we host Sean Zaboroski, Founder and CEO of The Diabetes App.
What is The Diabetes App?
It's a free-to-use application that was created solely for the diabetes community. Its purpose is to connect the diabetes community by acting as a social media platform that allows users to create a profile, post, and chat with one another, while also providing them with support in their diabetes management through offering resources including articles, podcasts, exercise videos, live streams, and access to professionals.
Why Sean created TDA
Sean was driven to create the Diabetes App through a passion to help people and as well one of his close family members was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 31.
Through observing these family members’ challenges with diabetes, the inspiration for The Diabetes App was born.
