They discuss ways we can connect through faith and the ways that our modern world makes connection difficult. They talk about the roadblocks to unity such as self consciousness (self centeredness), scapegoating and fear. Doug laments about the chaos that seems to be happening all around us and Fr Mitch reminds us that chaos has always been with us and that any sense of control has been an illusion all along. They talk about the ultimate good news that God loves us and promised us a future. Our whole life is a participation in Gods life.
