I have been researching and writing for over 8 years at www.thewealthyironworker.com, sharing my unique perspective as a union ironworker on a wide variety of topics. For a lot of those years, I've heard numerous times, "You should start a podcast." So I did - and here it is. There seems to be a trend in the trades: The interest is there with people exploring new, viable options for a career.
The difficulty, however, often is from contractors and customers; they only want people with several years of experience, often unwilling to expand their ranks and give the inexperienced a try.
I believe this must change.
