SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Hi, this is Middle
Roger, Steve Pellethiri, and I
am the Weatherman.
Thanks for checking intotheweathermanpod.com on your
Thursday.
It is the 16th day of October,2025, and fair weather abounds
across the eastern half of thenation on this Thursday.
As high pressure currentlyacross the Great Lakes continues
to drift east by southeast very, very slowly.
(00:20):
Looks like it'll give usexcellent conditions, most
likely right in through thisweekend.
And then an area of low pressurewill probably form in the east
sometime, either Sunday night orMonday, along with a cold front.
The next surge of high pressurestarts to move our way.
But looking across the nation atthis point, most of the rainy
weather is across the Dakotas,Montana, into Colorado, Wyoming,
(00:41):
northern sections of Utah, andalso into southern Idaho.
That area is going to dry outjust a bit as it gets depressed
further south along the frontalsystem stationary across the
mid-Atlantic states, from uh allthe way around uh Kentucky,
Tennessee, eastward to theCarolinas, and then into
Florida.
There will be that areas of someshowers developing by later
(01:03):
Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
But until that time, it's justlooking very dry.
Highs today, upper 50s, lower60s.
Tomorrow, also in the lower 60s,warming up Saturday, mid to
upper 60s to near 70, but then70 to 75 before those showers
that I mentioned start to movein on Sunday night and Monday.
If you're traveling for today,uh aviation-wise across the
(01:25):
nation, we are looking at fairconditions in the east.
Generally good in Chicago, although clouds will be on the
increase.
It looks like some rain at nightand tomorrow.
Also, fair skies from New York,Philadelphia, Washington, D.C.,
all the way up to the Bostonarea.
No problems weather-wise forflying.
No expected delays in Atlantaand also in Charlotte.
Nashville's looking good.
Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, warm but dry for the most part.
(01:48):
Could be a few isolated showersalong the South Texas coast.
And on the West Coast, lookslike fair weather in San
Francisco, Los Angeles and SanFrancisco.
They had some rain earlier thisweek, much needed rainfall, but
they'll need some more highpressures building in Deportland
and Seattle.
Dry weather expected into theair.
No weather delays in aviationfor this upcoming Thursday or
(02:10):
even Friday as well, for themost part, most places I
mentioned.
I'm D Major Steve Pelletier, andI am the weatherman.
Hope you have a great day today.
Talk to your first thing onFriday.
See you then.
