It's the last day of the 30thday of the month of September,
2025.
And while the month has been dryacross the Mid-Atlantic and
Northeast, it's also been just alittle bit warmer than normal.
Normal highs and normal lowsaveraging about a half a degree
throughout the 30 days ofSeptember, including today.

It's going to be a little bitabove normal.
From uh DC up to the Bostonarea, we are expecting
temperatures in the upper 70sand lower 80s.
Actually, a little bit drier anda little bit warmer as you head
further north.
There are some showers fromcoastal systems across the
Carolinas expected for Tuesdayand Wednesday.
Those storms will eventuallydrift further offshore.
A combination of Umberto, whichis a hurricane, and uh Melda,

which is also a tropical stormat this point, expected to move
off towards the north and east,off the eastern seaboard by
Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridayof this week.
In the meantime, we're lookingat sunshine after some early
clouds today as our temperaturesreach the lower 80s, some
showers in DC and Baltimore.
Looking at uh clouds and sun fortomorrow as well.
It's the first day of October,and temperatures will be cooler,

65 to 70, with the weather frontmoving through.
At night, it'll be clear down tothe 40s in some of the cooler
spots, lower 50s elsewhere.
And sunny weather for bothThursday and Friday, both days
temperatures in the 60s to thelower 70s.
Warms up this weekend, lookingat dry conditions both Saturday
and Sunday.
High rains back into the 70s.
We're traveling by air todayfrom airliner across the nation.

The two tropical systems off thesoutheastern coast will keep
some rain into Charlotte andalso into South Carolina.
Also, eastern portions of theFlorida Peninsula from
Jacksonville all the way down toDaytona and then to West Palm
and Miami Fort Lauderdale area.
We'll have some scatteredshowers during the afternoon
hours.
Looks a little bit drier though,Fort Myers up to Tampa St.

Pete and up to Tallahassee.
Also looking at fair conditionsin Chicago and Minnesota.
Minneapolis may have someshowers, but clouds and sun.
A little bit cooler weathermoving in there, and it's moving
to the east as well.
Use in Dallas will also be fairand dry.
Dry weather in LA and San Diego,but rainy weather in San
Francisco up to Portland andSeattle over the next 24 to 36
