SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Hi, this is Benny Ralder Steve Pelletier and I'm

(00:01):
The Weatherman.
Thanks for checking in to theWeathermanpod.com on your
Tuesday.
It is the 14th day of the monthof October, 2025, and there's
been a lot of action up alongthe eastern seaboard that uh
nor'easter that continued tointensify and then redouble
across the southern New JerseyDel Marva coast, uh, caused

(00:22):
quite a bit of flooding.
There was uh moderate to heavyflooding in most coastal
communities that were prone toflooding uh from uh Monmouth
County, southern MonmouthCounty, all the way down through
Atlanta County and Cape MayCounty in New Jersey, and also
down much of the Del MarvaPeninsula from Ray Hoboth south
also to uh Ocean City, Maryland.

(00:43):
Uh, possibility of some beacherosion and some flooding there.
But basically, it was a SouthJersey to uh central Jersey
coast that uh really did get thebrunt of this situation.
And we're also seeing uh anotherhigh tide this evening, but the
low pressure is starting todrift away, so hopefully some
better weather coming our wayover the next several days to uh
get out of this East Coast stormthat has hampered the region for

(01:06):
the last 48 hours.
So for today, it's gonna be uhclouds and sun, more sunshine
off to the west, more cloudcover hanging in close to the
coast and to the east and intosouthern New England as well.
Temperatures will be on the coolside, basically in the middle to
upper 60s.
It looks like clouds at nightdown to 52.
Better weather tomorrow onWednesday.
It'll be sunny, highest for theday.

(01:26):
We'll reach the middle to upper60s.
At night, mostly clear 41.
Thursday, sunshine 62.
Friday and Saturday also lookingsunny in the 60s to near 70 this
upcoming weekend in most placesacross the Northeast.
If you're traveling today, again, not a major situation for
the New York area ofPhiladelphia, Baltimore, D.C.,
the weather's actually improvingduring the daytime today, but

(01:48):
could be still some residualdelays that we've had uh from
the last 24 to 48 hours.
Sometimes they do extend intoseveral days because uh
everybody's trying to rebookflights.
In the meantime, though, we'vegot generally dry conditions
from uh New York City westwardout to Cleveland, southward to
Atlanta, Charlotte, much ofCentral and South Florida, dry,
dry weather in Houston andDallas, but it will be raining

(02:10):
in Chicago and rain also inMinneapolis, St.
Paul, with the next surge ofhigh pressure building down from
Canada.
And some big storms acrossNevada, sections of Utah,
southern Idaho, and uh easternportions of California, uh,
where areas of rain have movedin from the ocean and now moving
into the central Rockies overthe next 24 to 36 hours.

(02:31):
But some uh showers are possiblein LA and San Diego and also in
San Francisco.
They've had some hefty rains, and now it looks like some slow,
gradual improvement today, anduh drier conditions up in
Portland and Seattle as well.
I'm in your moderate, StevePelletier, and I'm the
weatherman.
Hope you have a great day today.
Talk to you first thing onWednesday, mid month.
Come it up.
See you then.
