It is the eighth day of theeighth month of the year and,
looking at, very nice conditionsfor the northeast corner, as
high pressure is the mainfeature across the northeast.
We do see, however, a return tothat hazy, hot and weather, a

very humid weather pattern thatwe've had a little bit earlier
than the month of july, and nowin the month of august we're
going to have our little heatwave, commencing probably on
sunday, lasting probably rightup through thursday of this
upcoming week, and that meanseach day, with temperatures
ranging in the low to middle 90s.
Nighttime lows will rangegenerally in the upper 60s and
lower 70s.

Cold front arriving probablyprobably next Thursday or early
Friday will give us some relieffrom the heat and humidity for
next weekend and as we head intothe next week in the month of
August.
But after a beautiful day today, high temperatures of a lot
lower 80s It'll be fair at nightupper 50s, low to middle 60s
across the Northeast corridorand plenty of sunshine mid 80s

Then it heats up low to middle90s right up through Thursday of
next week each day If you'retraveling today, no major
problems.

Atlanta is going to be fine.
Charlotte, no problems there.

Dry in the northeast but prettynice right up through Boston.
A few light showers aroundChicago but nothing major.

Still that severe weather inthe Dakotas Now moving into
Minnesota, with a strong frontalsystem starting to drop south
from Canada and it's keepingrain in Montana, north Dakota
and even sections of Minnesotaand northwestern Wisconsin.
Dry but foggy weather Earlygoing in the southeastern
portions of California, sanDiego and Los Angeles.

Hazy, smoky to start, but thensunshine.
Dry weather in San Francisco.
Also Portland and Seattlelooking pretty good as well.
