Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hi, this is meteorologist Steve Pelletier
and I am the weatherman.
Thanks for checking intotheweathermanpodcom on your
Saturday.
It's the 26th day in the monthof July 2025.
Across the eastern seaboard itlooks like that frontal system
is going to be stationary acrossthe area, mostly to the south,
before the next day or so.
That's going to give usscattered showers and
thunderstorms and a very warmday once again for the Saturday

(00:22):
for Baltimore, philly, new Yorkand the Boston area, although up
in the Boston area generally inthe lower 90s, mid to upper 90s
, with the possibility forPhiladelphia and Baltimore again
with the possibility of somethunderstorms the thunderstorms
associated with the weatherfront that lies almost
stationary from northernsections of Indiana, ohio, and
then swings on down throughPennsylvania and then into the

(00:43):
Virginias.
The system will basically breakup just a bit and start to
drift towards the north and eastand that should give us a
little bit of a better weatherflow at least, minus the
possibility of some heavierthunderstorms across the
mid-Atlantic and northeast orlater on Sunday and Monday.
Sunday in the morning it lookslike some rain, but as we head
towards Monday and Tuesdaythere's hazy and warm weather

(01:04):
with temperatures in the 90sdaytime, 70s at night.
Strong cold front probably willbe arriving towards the end of
the weekend.
That will give us some lowerrelative humidity and some nicer
weather as we get to the end ofJuly and the new month of
August.
But get set for more sweat andsome heat conditions to continue
for the next couple of days.
Weather-wise for the northeastcorridor it looks like our

(01:26):
weather is going to be hazy, andit's going to be hazy sunshine
with some afternoon and eveningthunderstorms as temperatures go
between 90 and 95.
Also, temperatures in the 80sto near 90, with widespread
showers and thunderstorms onSunday but then clearing out
Back to sunny and warm to almostdownright hot weather for later
Monday and Tuesday.
Temperatures range in the upper80s, low to middle 90s and a

(01:48):
cool down towards the end of theweek.
As mentioned, if you're flyingtoday, it looks like still the
possibility of some scatteredshowers and thunderstorms around
the Atlanta area associatedwith upper level low pressure
system and frontal system.
Just to the north, scatteredshowers and thunderstorms also
in the Charlotte area.
Houston, dallas-fort Worth hazy, hot and humid, but with some

(02:08):
late-day thunderstorms as well.
Chicago looking like overcastwith showers and thunderstorms,
but then the weather gets goodon the west coast, la, san Diego
all the way up to San Francisco, portland and Seattle.
Generally dry conditions withsome showers moving in late next
24 hours in the PacificNorthwest.
I'm Steve Pelletier and I'm theweatherman.
Hope you have a great day today.
Talk to you first thing onSunday.

(02:29):
Take care.
