SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Hi, this is Midi Roger, Steve Pelletier, and I am
the Weatherman.
Thanks for checking into theWeathermanPond.com on your
Sunday.
21st day of the month ofDecember, quickly coming up to
the holiday season.
And it is the holiday season.
And uh well, we had some snow onthe eastern Seaboard, at least
the in the east and thenortheast earlier in the month,
down around Virginia and theCarolinas and sections of West

(00:21):
Virginia.
And then on the 14th, we hadthat uh between four, actually
as much as two inches downaround Cape May, New Jersey and
Baltimore and down into southernPennsylvania, western Maryland,
all the way to up as much aseight inches of snow in some
sections of New Jersey, LongIsland, and even into southern
portions of New England.
Well, that was earlier in theweek.
Then we had the big warm-up onThursday.

(00:44):
And with temperatures going upthrough the 50s and those strong
south winds and hefty rains, itall disappeared.
All the snow disappeared.
So we're back to square one.
Now we do have a little frontalsystem that'll be poking through
the northeast sometime.
It's a warm front and causeswhat we call overrunning,
overrunning warm air over a domeof cold.
That could spark some uh lightsnow in the pre-dawn hours on

(01:04):
Tuesday and give maybe centralnorthern New Jersey, Eastern PA,
New York City a little dustingsnow over to uh maybe some rain
or as the temperatures warm up.
It's a warm front.
So basically it starts off withcold, but then it ends up with
warmer conditions.
And then it does look like mildweather for Wednesday and for
Christmas Day.
Thursday, actually Thursday onholiday, we are going to have

(01:27):
the good possibility of somerain.
It may even linger into Fridayof this week.
In the meantime, though, foryour Sunday, we've got a good
amount of sunshine and our hightemperatures ranging up to about
40 to 45 generally across thenortheast.
And at night, it'll be fair topart the cloudy back into the
20s.
A little bit cooler tomorrow onMonday with sunshine or high
temperatures for the day, onlyup in the upper 30s, near 40

(01:49):
degrees.
Tuesday, that possibility ofsome snow and rain over to some
milder weather, mid-40s, fairand milder on Wednesday of this
week.
After traveling today, it lookslike great weather into the New
York area.
No problems weather-wise.
Winds are low and skies clear topartly cloudy.
Fair skies in Boston, down inD.C., no problem there.
Charlotte, Atlanta, dry, dry incentral in South Florida.

(02:10):
Fort Myers down to Miami over toFort Lauderdale.
Pretty good weather, except forlate-day thunderstorms just
offshore.
Nothing much.
Houston and Dallas Fort Worthwill be dry.
It'll be dry in Chicago,Minneapolis, St.
Paul.
Well, fair and cold, but dry.
But out on the West Coast, lookslike rain from San Francisco up
to Portland and Seattle, and thethreat of some rain moving in,
possibly during the latterportion of the day on Sunday and

(02:33):
Sunday night in SouthernCalifornia.
But it's just touching in to thenorthern reaches of the Los
Angeles area.
San Diego will probably remainon the dry side.
I've been your brother, StevePelletier, and I am the
weatherman.
Hope you have a great day today.
Talk to you first thing onMonday.
See you then.
