Frontal system poking its waythrough just about southern
Ohio, northern West Virginia,southern Pennsee, Maryland,
D.C., and uh northern Virginia.
Then it extends furtheroffshore, and that storm gave us
along the eastern seaboard thelast couple of days is now far

offshore.
High pressure, currently acrossthe Great Lakes, also across the
central Mississippi RiverValley.
We'll drift eastward, and that'sgoing to give us great weather
for the next several days.
We'll start to warm up as wehead towards the weekend.
And we're looking attemperatures for the day today,
generally ranging between 65 and70 degrees.

At night, it'll be fair down tothe 40 to 45 degree range, a few
places in the 30s in Pennsi andalso around the Finger Lakes in
northern sections of Vermont,New Hampshire, and Maine.
We're also looking at uhgenerally fair skies for
tomorrow.
And temperatures on Thursday aregoing to average back to about
60 to 65.
So a little change there with ahigh pressure cell right over

the region on north-northeastwinds.
Also in the 60s on Friday, butSaturday it gets up close to 70
or in the lower 70s south andcould range into the mid-70s in
many places, with a chance ofsome scattered showers on Sunday
of this weekend.
If you are traveling today, fireair, we're looking at generally
fair conditions.
Weather's not going to be aproblem because any delays in

New York, Newark, LaGuardia,JFK, Philly, Baltimore, D.C.,
all the way down to Richmond.
No problems there.
Charlotte, Atlanta, and evencentral South Florida.
The weather's looking prettygood.
Also good in Houston, Dallas.
Chicago might have some showerslater in the day.
Drier weather.
It was raining yesterday inMinneapolis, but drier weather
today.

That low pressure willeventually spill into the
nation's midsection, but it'lltake a while.
So dry weather from uh SanDiego, Los Angeles, North to San
Francisco, no problems inPortland and Seattle, expected
for today.
So some pretty good weather forflying, however, you know, we
still have those problems withthe budget, and that's causing
uh some very sh uh shortfalls inemployment, sharp falls in in

personnel in both the NationalWeather Service and also at the
FAA and uh all these folks whowork 24-7, 365.
And uh they do very good workfor uh uh the citizens of this
country.
So uh let's hope for the bestfor them.
Uh weather-wise, though, itlooks like we're gonna get some
best weather for the nextseveral days, some typical

mid-October weather.
