Hi, this is Vinnie Rogers, steve Pelletier and I am
the Weatherman.
Thanks for checking in toTheWeathermanPodcom on your
Wednesday 16th day of the monthof July 2025.
Well, a stationary front liesacross much of southern New
England, extending right throughcentral Jersey down the I-95
corridor down to Philadelphia, just over Wilmington, north of
Baltimore and north of DC,extending just across the

(00:22):
northern panhandle of WestVirginia into central Ohio where
it joins with another frontalsystem that's stationary, that
lies from northern Texas, fromAmarillo northward, up north of
Chicago over Milwaukee and theninto southern and eastern Canada
.
Now, along the frontal systemover the Great Lakes, there's a
little series of low-pressuresystems and similar with a
little frontal system that'spoking across the mid-Atlantic

(00:43):
and northeast.
That means we're going to havesome partial sun, but also
late-day and eveningthunderstorms.
A flood watch in effect formany communities across the
northeast corridor from about 3pm to about 3 am because of the
possibility of some heavydownpours.
Today.
Similar situation comes up onThursday.
Now, both days, today andtomorrow, highs will range to
near 90 in these affected areas, but showers and thunderstorms

(01:06):
likely between 3 pm and around10 pm both today and on Thursday
.
On Thursday, however, highpressure is building southward
from the Dakotas, that frontalsystem that's stationary right
now across the Great Lakeswaiting for this system to just
go offshore.
The Bermuda High breaking downa bit With that frontal system
moving through high pressurewill build in.
It looks like we've got somenice weather for Friday,

(01:26):
saturday and Sunday of thisupcoming weekend.
Of course each day does havethat possibility of some
thunderstorms, but for the mostpart nothing like what we're
going to be having in thenortheast on Wednesday and
Thursday.
It should be dry.
Friday, saturday and SundayMaybe clouding up, with the
possibility of morethunderstorms later in the day
with the next frontal system.
Here, if you're flying today itlooks like generally showers

(01:47):
and thunderstorms in Charlotte, atlanta looking pretty good,
central and South Florida stillunder those afternoon and
evening heavy thunderstormsCould cause some delays there.
Houston's dry, dallas hot anddry, Also looks like showers,
but on the light side.
For Chicago heavier rain.
Up around Minneapolis-St Paulnorth of the front Out on the
west coast looks like dry in LosAngeles, san Francisco, also

(02:09):
Portland and Seattle on the dryside, generally nice summertime
weather along the west coasttoday.
I'm your host, steve Felt, andI am the weatherman.
Hope you have a great day today.
