SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Hi, this is Meteor
Bonjour, Steve Pellethiery.
I am the Weatherman.
Thanks for checking into theWeathermanpod.com on your
Tuesday.
Second day of the month ofDecember, 2025.
And well, we've been intomidological wintertime on the
first of December.
And since that time, temperatures have been cold, and
now we're threatened with astorm across the northeast.
Now, looks like for the mostpart it's going to be rain, but
(00:20):
you're going to be hearing aboutamounts of snowfall across
northern Pennsylvania, centraland western New York State, and
much of New England, where somesnowfall mounts could get up
between six and twelve inches.
But in and around easternPennsylvania, New Jersey, New
York, Long Island, andsoutheastern Connecticut, you're
looking at a brief area of snowover to rain.
It could give us a between acoating in some of the warmer
(00:41):
spots, up to an inch or two, especially in the higher
elevations in Northwest Jersey, northeastern PA and the Poconos,
and the Catskills of New York, the Berkshires of Massachusetts,
and also in western andnorthwestern sections of
Connecticut.
Our temperatures today with therain during the afternoon will
get up to about 40, not muchhigher.
So it's going to be a chillyrain.
For tonight, looks like the rainends.
(01:02):
Overnight there'll be some snowshowers, especially north, and
even the possibility of uh veryicy conditions as temperatures
get down to about 26 degrees.
You'll have drainage areas fromthe uh areas of rain that we had
during the daytime, and thatwill freeze because temperatures
will get back into the middle20s, and something we'll have to
deal with in the morning hourstomorrow.
Highs for the day.
Tomorrow also up to about 40,looking at generally fair skies
(01:24):
for Wednesday.
Wednesday night looking mostlyclear down to the mid-20s, and
Thursday also partly sunny.
Highs near 40 for the 4th ofDecember.
Friday, highs of only 30 to 35,so much colder weather expected
in the Mid-Atlantic andNortheast as we head towards the
end of this week.
Now, if you're traveling today, tough weather in the New York,
Philadelphia, Boston areabecause of the rain and snowy
(01:47):
conditions up in Albany and alsosnow up in sections of uh, well,
southern Vermont, northernVermont, some heavier snow.
Also snow into Maine.
Boston probably going to getsome rain, but western and
northwestern sections ofMassachusetts will have snow.
So even with the rain, you'regoing to have some uh pretty
heavy rains at times and lowerceilings and visibilities.
(02:07):
That causes delays in the NewYork, Boston, Philadelphia, and
D.C.
areas because of the rainyweather that we're going to have
today.
Dry conditions in Atlanta.
The storms are going by there.
Also dry in Charlotte.
Looks like some showers inCentral and South Florida.
Dry conditions with highpressure and cooler weather in
Houston and Dallas Fort Worth.
Looks like Chicago will also bedry.
Some snow showers acrossMinnesota and also snow across
(02:30):
the Dakotas.
Some heavy snow now expectedacross Idaho and Montana.
But out on the west coast, LosAngeles, also San Diego, San
Francisco, all looking dry.
A possibility of some snowshowers in the mountains to the
eastern portion of Washingtonand Oregon, but rain is expected
in Portland and Seattle duringthe daytime today.
I'm India Roger, SteveFeldheria, and I am the
(02:51):
weatherman.
Hope you have a great day today, and we'll talk to your first
thing tomorrow.
See you then.
