SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Hi, this is Meteor Roger Steve Pelletier and I'm
the Weatherman.
Thanks for checking into theWeathermanPod.com on your
Thursday, 23rd day of the monthof October, 2025, as this month
continues to rocket by.
But it looks like the weathersituation across the eastern
seaboard now graced with someautumn conditions, and
rightfully so.
It is uh mid to late October.

(00:20):
And looks like if you're uhplanning to take a look at some
of the autumn foliage, it's justabout at its peak across the
southern Hudson Valley,northeastern Pennsylvania,
western New Jersey.
You go a little bit furthersouth, it's uh probably a look
maybe a couple of days or maybea week away from peak as you
head down maybe I-81 and Route78 through Pennsylvania, then

(00:41):
I-81 down into uh southeasternsections of southwestern
portions of uh Pennsylvania, andthen into Maryland, West
Virginia, then ultimatelyheading down to Frederick,
Virginia.
That whole area down toShenandoah probably is the place
to be for the next, say, two orthree weeks because they'll be
approaching their maximumviewing for foliage uh sometime

(01:03):
about the middle to the end ofnext week.
But uh around here and to thenortheast, New York City, North
Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, southeast New York, and southern
Connecticut, we're just aroundat the peak at this point.
And uh this weekend we theviewing should be pretty good,
but a lot of leaves are on theirway down at this point.
Now, weather-wise for theEastern Seaboard, we've got some

(01:24):
great weather coming up today.
Had a frontal system movethrough, looks like some fine
conditions for Thursday, Friday,Saturday, and Sunday, right in
through the weekend, extendingfrom the Carolinas northward,
right up into southern NewEngland.
A little bit of uh shower actionacross central and northern New
England associated with an upperlevel low swinging on through
there.
But generally look for fairskies and sunshine and high

(01:45):
temperatures on the upper 50s tonear 60 today, and then mostly
clear at night down into the30s.
It'll be a frost in northeasternPennsylvania, southeastern New
York and the Finger Lakes, andwestern and northern
Connecticut, southern andwestern portions of
Massachusetts.
But we are looking at sunnyweather on Friday up to near 60.
Also sunny Saturday, Sunday,Monday, and Tuesday of next

(02:07):
week, with temperatures for themost part only in the 50s.
Daytime, 30s and lower 40sexpected at night.
Now, if you're traveling by airtoday, my airliner.
Seeing that a frontal system didmove through the eastern
seaboard, there are some showersin northwestern Pennsylvania,
central northern New York State,up to the Adirondacks, up into
central and northern Vermont,New Hampshire, and southern

(02:28):
Ontario and southern Quebecprovince.
Also looking at some shower andrainy weather across the eastern
Great Lakes, another area ofrain across four corners out in
the central and western uhRockies, and it looks like uh
maybe a few light showers, theTexas Gulf Coast from Houston
down to Corpus Christi, and alsolooking at some scattered
showers in southern Florida, buta good portion of the Florida

(02:49):
Peninsula on the dry side today.
No problems in Atlanta, dryconditions there, so no problems
in and out of there.
Weatherwise, weather wise intoCharlotte, good conditions to
New York, LaGuardia, JFK, maybea few delays because of the
winds a bit gusty, and thatslows things down a bit.
Chicago's looking pretty good, but Cleveland will be under some
rain.
Boston also up chance of someshowers.

(03:09):
Maybe a shower or two inHouston.
Uh Dallas Fort Worth, just verywarm, late-day thunderstorm
possible.
Showers possible in southernFlorida, from Miami down to the
Keys.
Uh Fort Myers at this point, also up to Tampa St.
Pete, Jacksonville, North, andTallahassee to the northwest,
all looking pretty good.
Dry conditions in LA, SanFrancisco, and San Diego.

(03:31):
Looks like some rain moving intoPortland and the Pacific
Northwest, Seattle, Tacoma.
I'm Eddie Bonger, SteveFellatier, and I am the
weatherman.
Hope you have a great day today.
I'll talk to you first thing onFriday.
And we'll take a look at thatdeveloping tropical system in
the Gulf, Melissa.
A tropical storm could become amajor hurricane, but maybe,
hopefully, staying along theeastern seaboard towards the

(03:52):
middle and the end of next week.
We'll have more on that fortomorrow.
Talk to you then.
Take care.
