SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Hi, this is Biddy Ball just eat fellow Tier and
I'm the Weatherman.
Thanks for checking into theWeathermanPond.com on your
Sunday.
It's the 16th day of the monthof November, 2025, and we've got
winds starting to kick up acrossthe Northeast.
Of course, that's going to causesome delays in arrivals and
departures in around a New York,Philadelphia, Baltimore area
because of those strong gustywinds.

(00:20):
Similar situation up around theBoston area.
But look for a gradual clearingtrend as the day wears on.
We'll get into mostly sunnyskies, but wind advisories are
in effect for many places acrossthe Mid-Atlantic and Northeast
because of those west winds at15 to 20 that could gust up to
45 miles per hour.
Our temperature is starting upin the mid-50s, but falling
sharply later this afternoon.
And then tonight mostly cloudydown to about 30 to 35.

(00:43):
Maybe a few snow showers acrossthe northwestern section of
Pennsylvania, central andwestern New York State, where
those winds coming across theGreat Lakes again.
Then mostly sunny on Monday.
Monday's highs up to 47.
Mostly clear at night down near30.
Tuesday sunshine in the middleto upper 40s near 50.
There could be a little rain onTuesday night, but it looks like
a clearing trend.
Then sunshine near 50 onWednesday.

(01:04):
Thursday also partly sunny 52.
Next chance of some rain, probably either Thursday night
or Friday of this week.
Now, if you're traveling by airtoday, well, there's always
going to be delays because ofeither equipment, like the
aircraft uh needs maintenance orsomething goes wrong, or because
of across the slowdown, becauseof the lack of enough
controllers in the New York andNortheast system, for that

(01:26):
matter, across the whole nation.
But as far as the weather isconcerned, when the weather
causes a problem, along withthose other things, you really
have some significant delays andalso some problems.
So we're looking at areas ofsnow showers across from uh just
around Erie, Pennsylvania, upthrough the Buffalo area.
Could be some heavy snows inthose places.
So traveling into there andToronto could be some extensive

(01:48):
delays, also extensive delays upin Albany and Syracuse and
further north up in Messina.
Uh less of delays because of theweather up because of snow up in
around the Boston area, but justbasically because of clouds and
some rain.
But those strong, gustynorthwest winds are going to
cause quite a bit of delays atNorwich, probably one to two
hour delays because of winds andthe runways that they use.
They have at Norwich theparallel system of 422 is a

(02:11):
right and left.
And those are the ones that theyuse most of the time.
But when those winds start tokick up out of the west and
northwest, they like to go up tothe northwest runway.
That's 1129.
And sometimes uh the winds uhwill cause uh very strong uh
low-level turbulence.
And that, of course, just uhmakes everything even that much
more delays and precarious for alot of the pilots and for those

(02:32):
flying in and out of the Newarkarea.
Uh JFK, lots of runways there,so they really have a good way
of taking care of all thatproblems, but they also have a
good uh west-northwest uh runwaythere.
And at LaGuardia, of course, they have the two runways, and
with that situation, you usuallyget a pattern of taking off on
one landing on the other.
So things really move along.
At Newark, though, they usuallyhave a lot of problems.

(02:54):
Uh down at Philadelphia, onerunway, the main use there.
I'm gonna have strongnorthwesterly winds, so some
delays into there, but nothingmajor.
Baltimore, D.C., as you getfurther south, it's not gonna be
as bad, but those strong windsacross the Great Lakes and
across New York State are goingto cause quite a bit of havoc.
Maybe some lake effects snowsonce again in those places, as
mentioned.
Dry weather down in Atlanta, butthe front will be moving

(03:15):
through.
Charlotte also having a northflow at a clearing trend.
Clearing in Chicago, but cold upin Minneapolis, St.
Paul, West Coast, still raining, central Southern California from
San Diego to LA, all the way upto San Francisco and even up to
Seattle and Portland.
And some uh heavy downpoursthere could cause some flash
flooding all along the WestCoast.
Uh, that problem will mostlikely linger into Sunday night.

(03:37):
So it's causing some delays intothose places.
Normally no big delays into LAand San Francisco because uh,
well, the weather's usuallypretty good except for San
Francisco.
They can get up and down, butwell, quite a bit uh used to
that type of weather patternthere.
Similar situation up in Seattleand Portland, but uh down in LA
and San Diego, and when you havesome of these big storms going
through, it could cause someextensive delays.
Central South Florida alsolooking good.

(03:58):
Houston and Dallas, no problemsthere.
I'm Idomologist, StevePelletier, and I am the
weatherman.
Hope you have a great day today.
Talk to you first thingtomorrow.
See you then.
