SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Hi, this is Video
Bilder Steve Pelletier and the
Weatherman.
Thanks for checking into theWeathermanPod.com on your
Friday.
It's the 26th day of the monthof September.
The days are getting close tothe end of the month.
And uh, well, we had someoccasional rain and showers much
of the mid-Atlantic andnortheast during the daytime on
Thursday.
Not a lot of rainfall.
Some places did get over aninch, but generally it was
(00:22):
looking at about a third to ahalf inch of rainfall as the
series of frontal systems andweak areas of low pressure
continue to move off towards thenortheast and now expected to
move offshore.
It will turn out to be a partlysunny day across the
mid-Atlantic and a northeast.
Looking at temperatures on thewarm side, generally ranging in
the upper 70s in northeastern PAand central New York, to about
(00:43):
the lower to mid-80s in mostplaces across the east from New
York City down to Baltimore,Philadelphia, and Washington.
Looking at fair skies for Fridaynight, and Saturday is also
looking pretty good withtemperatures back up to near 80.
Looks like another frontalsystem, though, will be moving
through on Saturday night.
That will bring a little area oflow pressure and possibly our
last chance for rain for thismonth of September in the
(01:03):
Northeast.
Saturday night, low temperaturesrange down to about 62 with a
chance of showers.
Might be some showers on Sundayuntil the midday, and then some
clearing later on.
High 75.
Nice weather for Monday andTuesday of next week.
If you're flying today,weather-wise across the nation.
Improving conditions across theNortheast.
So the Philadelphia, New York, and Boston area, the weather
(01:24):
will be improving there, so noproblems weather-wise getting
into those airports.
I'll looking at D.C.
with the possibility of a fewshowers, but the trend will be
towards slow, gradualimprovement.
Also, some showers andthunderstorms in Charlotte.
Slight to moderate delays there, and also slight to moderate
delays in Atlanta, wherethere'll be some occasional
rain, but the frontal systemlooks like it's edging a little
bit further east of them.
(01:44):
So the weather will be improvingat the world's busiest airport.
Looking also at some scatteredshowers in South Florida, Fort
Lauderdale, West Palm, and MiamiBeach, also Fort Myers, maybe
some late-day thunderstorms.
Dry in Houston and Dallas, dryin Chicago and Minneapolis, St.
Paul, also looking generally dryin central and southern
California and in the PacificNorthwest.
(02:05):
Clouds on the increase, andmaybe some showers in Seattle,
Tacoma, and Portland later onFriday into Saturday.
I'm in your model Just SteveFeld, the Tierra and I am the
Weatherman.
Hope you have a great day today.
Talk to you first thing onSaturday.
See you then.
