SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Hi, this is Midi
Brown, Steve Pellethier, and I
am the Weatherman.
Thanks for checking into theWeathermanPond.com on your
Thursday, 20th day in the monthof November 2025, and looks like
big storms moving into the westcoast again.
Rainy weather with us in SanDiego, LA, all the way up the
coast to San Francisco and intothe north coast of California up
to Portland and Seattle.
(00:20):
All rainy conditions with thenext surge of storms moving on
in.
The other storms that moved outof the Pacific Northwest, now
working their way down into theFour Corners region in North
Texas, Oklahoma, and southernKansas.
That area is going to betraveling east by southeast and
it's being blocked from movingtowards the northeast from those
big areas of high pressuremoving down out of Canada.
And they're going to give usgenerally dry weather for the
(00:43):
northeast, probably during thedaytime today and tonight, but
an increase in clouds and maybesome shower action from those
systems moving our way forFriday night and Saturday.
But again, most of it's stayingtowards south.
And then high pressure buildsback in on Saturday, Sunday,
Monday of next week, alsolooking generally on the dry
side.
And it does look like uh we'regoing to have near normal
(01:03):
temperatures, highs rangingupper 40s, low to middle 50s,
nighttime lows 30s to lower 40s.
And we have some snow across thenortheast, some sections of
central and northern New Jersey,I should say more like
northwestern New Jersey, night, higher elevations from Sparta,
down to across northwest MorrisCounty in southern Sussex,
northern portions of WarrenCounty, and even a few portions
(01:24):
of uh northern Hunterdencounties in Somerset.
Had a little bit of snowflakesin their uh weather earlier this
morning between about, I'd say,5 a.m.
and 7 a.m.
In some places it was a halfinch of slushy snow on grass and
soil.
But that's all moved off to theeast now.
High pressure is going to bebuilt again.
Expect your highs on Thursdayranging up to about 50 to 55.
(01:46):
And then on Friday, also near50, but with a chance of some
rain afternoon and evening.
And then rainy weather endsearly.
Saturday, sunshine, Saturdayafternoon and Sunday, both days'
highs of about 50 to 55 in themid-Atlantic and Northeast.
If you're traveling today, looking like good weather in
Atlanta and Charlotte, South andCentral Florida, no problems
weather wise there.
Uh New York, North LaGuardia, light winds, good weather, and
(02:09):
looks like hopefully the uhtraveling conditions will be
improving, at least as far asthe controllers are concerned,
and the airline's getting backto near normal.
It takes a process.
That's gonna take a while.
Boston also looking pretty good.
Chicago, generally dry, a littlecold front moving through later
in the day, and at night couldcause some turbulence and maybe
some delays into there.
Minneapolis, St.
Paul, a clearing cold trend.
Real problem is in Texas, usedto Dallas Fort Worth, some heavy
(02:31):
rains and possibly somehigh-range street flooding
across Oklahoma and centralnorthern portions of Arkansas,
southern Missouri.
And out on the West Coast, moreflooding is a possibility in
Southern California, away up toSan Francisco.
That's where the heaviest rainswill be.
And then a little bit lighter asyou head up to Portland and
Seattle.
So some weather delays intothose places because of the West
(02:52):
Coast rains.
I'm Eddy Montana, StevePelletier, and I am the
weatherman.
Hope you have a great day today.
Talk to you first thing onFriday.
See you then.
Have a good day.
