SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Hi, this is Meteor Roger Steve Pelletier, and I am
the Weatherman.
Thanks for checking into theWeathermanPod.com on your
Friday.
It is the 21st day of the monthof November, and looking at uh
weather situation for todayacross the Eastern Seaboard,
showing another frontal systemmoving through.
So it's going to bring us somerain sometime overnight Friday
into Saturday across uh from DCall the way up to Baltimore,

(00:21):
Philly, and New York, and evenup into the Boston area.
Uh the frontal system movesthrough pretty quickly, so it
will rain during the overnightFriday into Saturday.
Saturday morning the rain ends, move east.
High pressure starts to build infor a few days.
As a matter of fact, it lookslike we'll have generally fair
skies Saturday afternoon, continuing through Sunday and
Monday.
Then by Tuesday, another area oflow pressure will be arriving.

(00:43):
And here's where we get to takea look at what the weather's
going to be on the Thanksgivingholiday.
Now, looks like the wet day isgoing to be on Wednesday of this
upcoming weekend, Wednesdaynight.
A strong frontal system will bemoving through, and although
there might be some showersduring the early going on
Thanksgiving Day, it looks likedry weather, brisk northwesterly
flow, so some colder conditionstoo, starting to move into the

(01:05):
New York, Philadelphia,Baltimore area, and even up in
the Boston region.
It'll be fair, windy, and coldup in Chicago and Minneapolis,
St.
Paul, very cold with highpressure building right down
from Canada.
And it looks like generally fairconditions for Atlanta and a
good portion of central andsouth Florida.
No problems weather-wise inTexas on Thanksgiving Day.
It looks dry throughout thestate and on the warm side.

(01:27):
And also dry conditions incentral and southern California.
Northern portions of the PacificNorthwest will be another area
of low pressure moving intoSeattle, Tacoma, eventually down
into the Porton area sometimelater on Thursday or Friday of
next week.
But as mentioned, we are lookingat some pretty good weather for
today.
A lot of cloud cover in the eastbecause this low pressure moved

(01:47):
through.
We'll get into some showers.
Highs today, 50 to 55, lowstonight, only 40 with the rain.
That rain ends.
We get clearing also back intothe middle 50s.
Looks like uh fair and a littlebit cooler.
40s, the lower 50s on Sunday.
Monday is also looking drybefore that next area of rain
moves in that I mentioned.
So I give you a look at whatit's going to be like on
Thanksgiving Day at this point.

(02:08):
And of course, I know we're agood week away, but that's how
it looks at this point.
Much of the nation will be dryand okay, but it will be
preceded by that strong frontalsystem.
Now, if you're traveling today, not the greatest weather
situation across the TennesseeValley, Kentucky looking rain.
Looks like rain across WestVirginia and a good portion of
Virginia.
It extends just intosoutheastern Pennsylvania and

(02:30):
extreme southern New Jersey bylater on today and tonight.
Rainy conditions also inCharlotte and also in Raleigh.
And down in Atlanta, it lookslike the rain will be moving in
during the afternoon.
Dry in the morning, but somerain in the afternoon will bring
it down to what we call FRconditions and slowing things
down in and out of AtlantaHartsfield.
And we're also looking atgenerally fair skies in central
and south fardeau, Atlanta,Tampa, Fort Myers, Miami, and

(02:52):
West Palm, all dry conditionsexpected for uh during the
daytime today and tomorrow.
It does look like uh rainyweather in Houston, but Dallas
is starting to clear out there.
The rain still in SouthernCalifornia looks like it'll
linger at least through thedaytime today and into tonight.
That storm will move into theFort Corners region and then
over the southern continent.
And as a matter of fact, we'regoing to be getting into drier

(03:14):
weather in much of Californiafor the daytime on Saturday and
Sunday before the next frontalsystem moves in sometime later
on next week.
Also, it looks like some rainyconditions up in Seattle, but
dry in the Portland area at thispoint.
So still some rain in LA and SanDiego, but it looks like the
improving trend will developlater on today and tonight.
I'm India Roger, StevePelletier, and I am the

(03:34):
weatherman.
Hope you have a great day today.
I want to talk to your firstthing on Saturday.
Take a look at that holidayforecast as well.
See you then.
