and I am the weatherman.

Tuesday.
It is the 29th day of the monthof July, a month that's shown
some places across the Northeastquite a bit of rainfall but
exceptional amounts of heat andhumidity, and we're actually
going today, on Monday we'llhave it on Tuesday and Wednesday

May ahead on Monday will happenon Tuesday and Wednesday Some
very extreme heat, so that theextreme heat warnings are in
effect for much of themid-Atlantic and northeast.
Across the southeast there areshowers and thunderstorms.
It looks like mostly rainyconditions during the afternoon.
East Tennessee, kentucky, allthe way down into western North

Carolina, all of South Carolina,georgia and through the Florida
Panhandle and also into Alabama, mississippi and southern
Louisiana.
It does look generally dry fromHouston up to Dallas, but it
looks like some showers andthunderstorms for Chicago.
Drying weather in Minneapolis,st Paul, rainy conditions in

central and eastern sections ofMontana and Wyoming all the way
down to Colorado and westernsections of New Mexico, around
four quarters.
It's their monsoon season andit looks like they are going to
continue with the rains thereover the next couple of days.
Dry weather though in LA andSan Francisco also the
possibility of some showers inPortland, but mostly cloudy
conditions with some sunshine inSeattle.

A frontal system arrivingduring the daytime on Wednesday
could bring some more rain tothem, but the big story, of
course, being the heat andhumidity across the northeast.
Excessive heat warnings willremain in effect Tuesday and
Wednesday, and then we have afrontal system approaching from
the northwest that's currentlymoving out of central and
southern Canada.
We'll be arriving in the eastwith some thunderstorms on

Thursday.
Temperatures back up to onlynear 80 to 85 on Friday,
saturday and Sunday, as wewelcome in the new month of
August.
So again, if you're travelingtoday, it looks like some
showers and thunderstorms inAtlanta and Charlotte, also
lighter showers across Miami andFort Lauderdale, but most of
the time it's just going to betypical South Florida weather
