Speaker 0 (00:00):
Hi, this is meteorologist Steve Pelletier
and I'm the weatherman.
Thanks for checking intotheweathermanpodcom on your
Saturday, 19th day of the monthof July 2025.
Some beautiful weather both onThursday and Friday.
Actually, it looks like ourweather situation for today it's
going to be like 50-50.
The humidities will beincreasing, also looking at the
possibility of scatteredthunderstorms in the latter

(00:22):
portion of the day and duringthe evening.
Frontal system working its waythrough the central Great Lakes
right now.
We'll be arriving in the easton Sunday and that'll fire up
some thunderstorms, especiallylate day and evening.
But it does look like aclearing trend, high pressure
building down into the Dakotasand Montana and into Minnesota.
We'll be arriving here Mondayand Tuesday and it looks like it

(00:43):
should last right up throughthe middle portion of this week,
but gradually a little bitmilder as we head towards the
midweek.
Another frontal system expectedto move on through will
reinforce that fair weathersystem into the last weekend of
the month of July next weekend.
In the meantime, our weathersituation for today calling for
partial sunshine, mid-80s, withlate day and evening

(01:05):
thunderstorm chance, nighttimelows 71.
Tomorrow, back to partialsunshine but a better chance 50%
chance of showers andthunderstorms, mostly midday and
early evening hours and aclearing trend at night, highs
again ranging into the upper 80sand lower 90s.
So it will be a hot, more humidday, but then a throttle link
back to some very nice weatherfor Monday and Tuesday, both

(01:26):
days with sunshine and highsranging from 80 to 85.
If you're traveling today by air, it looks like maybe just
generally some scatteredthunderstorms around the New
York area, so it doesn't looklike anything much.
No major delays into the NewYork City area because of
weather and up in the Bostonarea generally fair.
Chicago's going to haveoccasional rains.
There'll be one to three hourdelays there and also looking at

(01:48):
the possibility of somethunderstorms in charlotte as
well, with some delays in airtravel into that region because
of those thunderstorms, especially during the afternoon
early evening.
Atlanta is looking generally dry, maybe a few showers, a little
break from all the afternoon andevening thunderstorms in
central and south Florida ashigh pressure is building into
that region.
So it should be dry, especiallyfor the midday and early

(02:11):
evening hours.
Maybe some thunderstorms atnight.
Houston going to have somescattered showers, dry and hot
in Dallas-Fort Worth.
Minneapolis-st Paul lookingfair, with sunshine and a very
low relative humidity.
Beautiful weather for there andthat's going to be arriving in
the east on Monday and Tuesday.
La some scattered showers, otherwise mostly sunny.
Looks like dry weather in SanFrancisco, portland and Seattle

(02:32):
as well, with near-seasonabletemperatures.
I've been your moderator, stevePelletier, and I am the
weatherman.
Hope you have a great day today.
Talk to you first thing onSunday.
See you then.
