Elizabeth (00:05):
Hey, everybody. It's Elizabeth. It's a week before
inbound. Oh my goodness. This ismy first time going.
I've been working at a HubSpotpartner agency for a little over
2 years now. Before that, I wasusing HubSpot, as a HubSpot
client. But this is actually myfirst time going to inbound, and
I don't know about you guys. Butwhen HubSpot does it, they does

(00:26):
it they do it well. Right?
They does it well. That's greatgrammar. Anyway, they do it
well. They go big. Right?
And so I thought I would sharehow to pick an agenda. I don't
know about you guys, but holycow. If you go to the home page,
first of all, you find out it'ssold out and look at all these
fun little things that thewebsite does. I'm a designer by

(00:48):
background, and so I get I nerdout. I had to nerd out over all
the fun things on the page.
But, anyway, like, I had to notpay attention to this and
actually go and figure out anagenda. And I don't know. I
usually just go all sessions.Right? But if you do that,
there's, like, so many that I'mlike, I I got into, like, I I

(01:08):
don't I don't know.
I don't know. And then I noticedthere's this targeted agenda.
And I was like, yes. This is myjam. You're gonna curate a list
for me, and it's gonna be great.
So on this page, if you haven'tpicked out your sessions for,
inbound and you're going, youcan scroll through and they've
actually curated lists based onyour interest, and then it just

(01:32):
whittles it down. It's basicallyjust filtered informations.
Right? So what I did was I justpicked 1 like this one, and you
just select view agenda, andthen it automatically filters
for you. And you can see, like,I've favorited this session.
You can save a seat in some. Some of them are reservation
required, like this one. You cansee I reserved a couple seats in

(01:54):
another. And if it's full, I'munder the impression that you
can still go while you're atinbound, and then they'll open
up seats in case somebody hasn'tattended. You just have to be
there.
I think it's 5 minutes beforethe start time of the of the
session. But, anyway, you cansee a lot of information here.
And then if you're not going toinbound, you can also see which

(02:14):
ones are livestream, which meansyou can actually watch it live,
and plan for that, during yourday at, at inbound, which I
think is actually prettyfreaking cool. So there's also
an inbound app, that you can puton your phone and you can do the
same things or relatively thesame things in the inbound app

(02:35):
on your phone, and then you cancarry inbound with you while
you're at the at the event.Another thing that I know
everybody is always interestedin is kinda like when Apple has
their big events or anythinglike that.
It's like, hey. What's comingout? I don't know. And I don't
know. But what I like doing inHubSpot, and I don't know if you

(02:55):
guys are aware of this, in yourportal, there's this product
updates option.
Under product updates, you cansee what's coming up next. We
have to blur this screen, because of, you know,
everybody's got a little bitdifferent, right, different view
inside of HubSpot. But on thisproduct updates, menu option,
you can see what's live, comingsoon, beta, in development, and

(03:18):
sunset. You can reduce it todifferent things and different
options here, reduce it byproduct, things like that. But,
you know, if you didn't knowthis was a thing, highly
recommend coming and checkingthis out.
You know, maybe even signing upfor a beta or 2 if you want to.

(03:39):
In the past, when I've signed upfor betas, both as a HubSpot
user and then on behalf of ofclients, they're always really
well done, and I enjoy them. Butanyway, if you wanted to see at
least a little bit of a road mapof what's coming up, that
product updates thing isdefinitely definitely the way to
go. You can see it. But anyway,I'm excited and nervous to go to

(04:03):
inbound.
I've never been there before.I'm really excited to see
people. I didn't realize thatI'm a people person, and I am. I
like in person events, so itshould be fun. I've also never
been to Boston, which is alsoreally cool that I get to go see
a little bit of it.
I'm sure I'll be busy at theconference and won't get to
sight see and do fun things, asmuch as I'd like, but I can

(04:25):
always go back and visit. Right? So yeah, if this is your first
time at inbound, what are youlooking forward to? What
sessions are you most interestedin outside of Ryan Reynolds?
Everybody's interested in seeingRyan Reynolds.
Right? And then what are youwhat are you hoping to get out
of inbound? What are you hopingto to, you know, bring back to

(04:46):
your team? Because there'salways that post conference
hype. Right?
You're kinda high in the sky, dreaming big, gonna make
sweeping changes, and then itfizzles and dies. Right? It
falls flat typically. One thingthat you could do while you're
at the conference, I actually ama huge fan of not taking tech
into a conference so that youcan just absorb all of it. I am

(05:09):
probably a little more oldschool than I'd like to admit.
I'm a fan of pen and paper. Ilike to doodle and write while
I'm attending a session kindalike I did when I was in art
school, you know, to be quitehonest, because I like to be in
the moment and I find that Iactually retain more and get
better ideas if I write itphysically instead of typing it

(05:33):
out. But if you're one of thosepeople that like tasks, guess
what? Take your phone with you.Install the HubSpot app, so not
the inbound app, but the HubSpotapp.
Make sure your HubSpot accountis connected and you can make
tasks for yourself right there. You can scan business cards, you
can do all kinds of things rightfrom the HubSpot app. Yeah. We'd
love to hear from you. Drop acomment, you know, do something,

(05:56):
let us know what you'reinterested in.
Oh, I almost lost my earbuds. That would have been terrible.
Seeing in inbound what you'rehoping to get out of inbound,
and then what are you planningto do with that information
after inbound. I know, I signedup for a lot of the educational
sessions because I love teachingpeople. I love showing them, you
know, HubSpot tricks and thingsthat I've learned along the way,

(06:18):
but then also how to get HubSpotto actually work for you, help
your team basically buildHubSpot to fit your people and
your processes, not just theprocess, but the people too.
We'll catch you when I'm backfrom inbound. Thanks.
