Today I chat with AudreyAnna Garrett.
Audreyanna, operates under the pen-name AudriWrites and has published 7 books across different genres, including poetry collections, self-help books, novels, and memoirs. Audreyanna utilizes her experience, love for writing and education to share her journey of understanding love, emotions and the ups and downs of personal growth.
Understanding the complicated world of emotions and the human psyche through writing was not enough for Audreyanna, as she is currently pursuing creative solutions that support a more direct way to accompany others on their journey. Audreyanna seeks to empower people to be intentional with contributing to a more balanced mental and emotional state. Her writing and her professional experience in the field of child protective services led her to enroll in a clinical psychology Ph.D. program.
Throughout this conversation AudreyAnna touches on a few different subjects including, how poetry and writing helped her navigate her own mental health struggles, the importance of helping others and why we need to learn how not to take rejection personally.
