We cannot be renewed in the spirit of our mind if we are holding on to the works of darkness. Jesus said, "Receive ye the Holy Ghost; which is the spirit of truth, and the truth shall make you free." Remember: those who try to come up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No man goeth unto the Father but by him.

The only way to know whether a false witness stands before you or an eyewitness of God is for you to be taught of God by the Spirit of God. Jesus tells us in John chapter 8 verse 32, the truth shall make us free.
