#15. Freedom is something we all want and desire. And in this episode Dr. Knight discusses different types of freedom we all should strive to obtain. Don't take your freedoms for granted.

In the United States of America, July 4th is our Independence Day. This is a day we as members of this country celebrate the freedoms that our founding fathers and mothers fought for. Freedom wasn't cheap, it came with an expensive price. We need to continue to fight for our freedoms to choose and to be free to pursue what is in our best interest for ourselves and our families.

We also should be striving to obtain freedom with our health and our health situation. Don't settle for just getting by when you can have something better. Fight for the freedom to enjoy life on a much more deeper level. Strive for freedom for you and your child to live and experience life on a deeper level. And if your freedoms are limited or restricted then strive to obtain the little victories of increased freedom with your health.

Let us all be grateful to choose the tools and resources to help us with our health journey. Look forward to the freedom of obtaining a higher quality of health and wellness. You deserve it!

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
