to the WWEE Podcast Monday Night Raw Review. It is
September fourteenth, twenty twenty one, and as promised, I do
have Michael Gross with me to talk about Monday Night
Raw that happened last night on September thirteenth. All the good,

definitely some bad. Although I know a lot of you,
including some of the big websites, thought this was a
much improved Monday Night Raw and the big big ee
victory for the WWE Championship. Well, I can tell you
right now that if you felt what we felt and
that's just utter frustration and disappointment in the Big Ee victory.

(01:30):
Then you're gonna want to listen to the show we
went through it. I mean it was like twenty thirty
minutes for the top of the show discussing the Big
Ee WWE championship victory that we were not impressed with.
And I know we are and probably the minority on this,
specifically with our younger audience who probably love Bigie and

love his gyrating and his hips and his pancakes and
his swiveling and his inside jokes and all the nonsense
that go with the New Day. But Michael Gross and
I were less than impressed with the victory on a
lot of levels that you'll have to take a listen
to and certainly provide your feedback. I'm sure a lot
of you completely disagree, and that's cool, right, It's wrestling.

we have too much, too many tangents and just get

we stayed on track for Monday at raw and looking

Monday Night Raw review tonight. Not normally a having a
co host, but tonight is a special night because I've
got Michael Gross with me to discuss Monday Night Raw

as we look ahead to the Extremes pay review in
just under two weeks. There's a lot to break down,
a lot to look forward to, and yes, certainly a
lot to critique. With the Big E victory, the Big
E WWE Championship win. We'll get into that, but first
I'd like to present you, Michael Gross. How you doing, buddy, excellent?

Thank you for asking. I just want to say to
everybody I know it's been a hot minute since I've
been on the show. I couldn't wait to get back
on the show. So I'm very humbled that Matt has
chosen me for this Raw review tonight, and I also
want to say thank you to Mimi for the work
we did a couple of weeks ago, and I look
forward to quite a few more ideas that we have
kind of kind of churning around in our toxic cauldron

of wrestling ideas.

I love the adjective there, the toxic cauldron. Yet it's
not just yeah no. I like that. And you guys,
if you haven't listened to it, they did a format
called Old School versus News School a few weeks ago.

be coming and even more things that I can't discuss
right now that are coming beyond that. So good stuff
coming from everybody here on the team, and I'm glad

to have you here tonight as we discuss Monday Night Raw.
And look, I think it would be doing a disservice
to our fans, to our listeners, if or maybe the
w W podcast universe, right if I'm gonna use the
language correctly, if we didn't talk about Big EA's victory
right off the top here, We'll go through other things
that happen on the show, certainly, and we'll do a rundown,

(06:33):
but I'm not gonna say anything. I'm just gonna without
pre giving you any preconceived notion. My friend, what did
you think about Big Ee winning the WWE Championship cashing
in the money in the bank briefcase on Bobby Lashley
in the closing minutes of Monday Night Raw?

Speaker 3 (06:53):
Five years too late for one for two?

Speaker 2 (06:56):
It was.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
It was very hastily put together. Everybody knows that AW
forced their hands by having so many former stars come
in between Cmpunk, Adam Cole and Brian Danielson and trying
to figure out exactly what they could do. As an answer,
they tried to give us extreme rules a little bit early.
And for Big Eye, first of all, he to be

(07:18):
reunited with the New Day like that was a step
back in his career. For him even to do the
vignettes backstage, dancing around like a buffoon and making a
joke of himself once again was a step back in
his career. And for him to win the title this
way as a babyface is a step back in his career.
So with that being said, being held high, this is
five years too late. He was supposed to get Roman

(07:39):
Reigns push originally everybody knows that, but then Vince soured
on him. Everybody also knows that Keith Lee turned out
to be the wrestler that Big Ye was supposed to be,
But unfortunately Keith got injured and gained a lot of
weight and he needs to be punished. With that still
being said, it was a successful cash And however, how
many times do we really need the suitor, so to speak,

(08:02):
or the competitor to tell them when they're cashing. And
that's supposed to be the whole element of surprise, that's
supposed to be the bonus. Is it going to happen tonight?
Is it going to happen tonight? Instead, let's blow it
up on social media, ruin the surprise. You could have
popped that last hour with something a tease, have the
New Day tease him being there or something like that
to maybe see if it's gonna happen. That would have

(08:23):
meant a little bit more. And then keep those two
chuckle heads away from him in the ring. Sure they
all wanted to celebrate together. You could do that backstage,
pouring champagne over his head. That would mean a lot
more than them just acting like fools like they did
throughout the show. Had he won it on a legitimate
pay per view in front of a legitimate audience, in

(08:43):
a legitimate contest, it would have meant It would have
meant a lot more, especially if he had a different character,
a new character, and a stronger character than being the
same old dancing goofball. If I see pancakes next week, WHOA,
You're gonna see a really evil version of the Garden.
That's how I felt about him.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
Oh jeez, I would not be surprised if they did.
I mean, Kovie Kingston did it, and it was. I
mean Kovie Kingston. For whatever you think about him, I
think he was and I do not regret this. I
don't and I mean this like I think he was
a disgrace to the WWE Championship. I really believe that.
And I respect Kofey as a performer, As an actual person,
he's a great human being, great father, great husband. But

(09:23):
from a character perspective, I think Kovie Kingston was an
absolute embarrassment to the championship. I know it's a feel
good story. Many people don't agree with me. That's cool,
But as far as this goes, Yeah, this, Oh my god,
where do I begin? Run off the top? You mentioned
was it an answer to aw well, it was a
poor answer to a w it was. I mean, there's

(09:45):
really But at the same time, where are they going
to go with Monday Night Raw like they are so
limited on Raw? Spackdown is easily the star of the
show here, a much better put together show, a shorter show,
a much more concise and structured show than Raw is.
Raw is just a complete disaster, or has been for
a few months, several months now. But I mean, if
WWE thinks that they are going to just continue to

(10:05):
pump out championship match after championship match after championship match,
which they've done with every single available championship that they
have over the last month, I'm talking about the tag
team Championships on both ends. I'm talking about the Women's Championship.
I'm talking about the w W Championship which changed hands
on Raw now, which I know Drew McIntyre had happened
to against Randy Orton last year, and I know Bobby

(10:27):
Lashley beat the Miz on a Monday Night Raw after
he had had formed some agreement with the miz and
so Bobby Lashley also got the Monday night Raw treatment
when you think he would be on a bigger stage,
and Biggie was not on a big stage here. It's
just a plain old money at Raw. And so I'm
not a fan of the constant, constant championship matches that

(10:49):
WWE thinks are going to build ratings and build interest.
I think they are really shooting themselves in the foot
long term, it's a terrible long term strategy. They are
bastardizing the championships to mean absolutely nothing, that the pay
per views don't matter. You don't need to worry about
getting paper views, guys, because we'll give you the championship
match every single week, and they do, and it's it's
it's terrible that they do that for the championships, for

(11:12):
the competitors themselves, for the overall company, and it feels desperate.
It feels desperate when they do this stuff because they
know they're tanking and they're like they're just throwing crap
of the wall seeing what sticks. Specifically here with Big Eie.
Now I know he cashed in the way he did.
You could argue, like you said that it was a
step back in his career as a babyface doing it
the way he did. At the same time, you could argue, well,

(11:34):
he's a babyface, so he gave a stupid amount of
heads up. Like I mean, most people that win the
champ win the briefcase do not give a heads up.
It's just wham bam, here they come, shock and awe,
no warning. Biggie was reminding people, like multiple times throughout
the show that I'm going to cash in. So he

(11:54):
did it the quote unquote upstanding way that a babyface
should do it. I guess, although you could argue, why
would they give somebody a heads up? It looks foolish.
I mean, there's definitely arguments on both sides here. The
fact that they did it again, they did this to
Bobby Lashley, and they're sacrificing raw or there's something sorry,
they're sacrificing surprises and shock and anything could happen for

(12:19):
trying to build ratings by doing this on Monday Net Raw.
And again, the biggest problem I have with this is
and I put this out on Twitter, and I'll read
this verbatim because I had to put this in words
in a very concise way, And this is what I said,
the biggest problem I have with Biggie winning isn't the
fact that he's a member, still a member of the
New Day essentially, and that he hasn't changed his character

(12:41):
at all since quote unquote leaving the group. It's the
fact that his finisher, I said, sorry, It's not the
fact that his finisher is easily the worst looking in
WWA history. It's the fact that instead of building Biggie
as a main event star and then reaching the top
of the mountain by winning the championship, they're using the
championship to make him a main eventor And it's completely backwards.

(13:05):
So that that's how I sum this whole thing up.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
I get that, and I can understand and relate to
that completely in that mindset, because Bobby Lashley was built,
he had to lose that US title somehow before he
could go on. But you looked at it and there
was nobody left, and then you look at him and
he was a monster among men, and he was in
a stable at the time that every time they made
a promise, they made good on it. So when you
have that kind of beginning upstart of momentum, you knew

(13:30):
that Drew's days were number going against Bobby Lashley, and
of course then you want to protect Drew, so we'll
take it off the worst champion ever, the Miz. And
also a little bit of irony. Do you realize that
I did the raw review when Bobby Lashley won his
title and now I'm doing the raw review when he
lost it.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
No, I didn't even realize that.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
That I that is that is irony because you knew
I was going to be so happy that the mis lost.
You're like, I'm putting you on the show tomorrow. But
to me, it's like you said, okay, so is the
title of prop or are you propping up the title?
And so we're looking at a situation where it's like, Okay,
he's your world champion. Oh he's so, he's so tough,
he's so bad ass? Well is he? Because I remember

(14:11):
every time he wrestled Russev he would pass out in
the ring. I remember every time he had that one
shot that would propel him above the upper mid card,
which is such a gray are so to speak, he
would always lose. And if he was paling around the
New Day and you're gonna do a New New Day reunion,
then why didn't you have the Hurt Business stay together
this long. You could have still pushed this another week

(14:35):
over by having a bloody I mean, get a little
color on TV six man match. You know we're going
into extreme rules. We know that for of those guys
are high flyers, two guys are power wrestlers. And there
are things that Bobby Lashley can do that a human
being can't, and Biggie's strong as an ox. There are
different ways that you could have spent there. You could

(14:56):
have basically spent our time having us watch a free
on TV cage match between the Hurt Business and the
New Day and it would have meant more than Biggie
winning his championship the way he did tonight, especially over
an injured Bobby Lashley, which tells me that you know,
I smell rematch. With that being said, though it was

(15:16):
it's it's like you said, we're gonna put the belt
on him, So now you believe he's a main eventor well,
I'll believe it when he beats somebody besides a true
main eventor who was injured going into who just had
a great, a serviceable match against Randy Ordon.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
No. No, look, I mean that's a good way to
put it. Is this a prop or are you trying
to use the wrestlers to build up the championship or
are you doing the reverse? And I just don't like
the way that they've done this to me. This this
might be the worst possible way to make Biggie champion.

(15:53):
Why you Number one, it was through a money in
the bank briefcase, which in some capacity you're going to
make sure that you have it in vantage going into
the match. Now, Biggie did it as most quote unquote
upstanding as he could. You know, I know he did
it after match. I guess you could say the most
upstanding would be, hey, next week, I'm cashing in on
you one on one, that's my match, instead of doing
it after the match. But anyway, he did it as

(16:13):
close to upstanding as possible, And so that's off the bat.
He didn't win it in a monoy mono. Everyone's on
one hundred percent way. You also do it on a
Monday night Raw, and I don't want to hear that. Oh,
anything can happen on Monday night. There are certain things
you still don't do on Monday Night Raw, unless it's
like once in a blue moon. I remember back in
the nineties and the attitude arab. There was I think

(16:35):
one time that I can remember that the champ the
WWF Championship changed hands, and that was the night after
Caine beat Stone Cold Steve Austin in a first one match.
And how special did that feel? When Austin beat Caine
for the WWF Championship. I don't even remember where they were.
It was sometime in the summer June or something at

(16:55):
King of the Ring or the Monday night raw after
and so that's the only time I can remember it
never ever, ever, ever happened. So that my point is
the championship matches are so frequent now and when Bobby
wins it, I'm sorry, Biggie wins it here, it's like,
oh wow, they didn't even give him a big stage
to do it. The way he won it was a
little bit suspect, even for a babyface. He is still

(17:17):
a part of the New Day, even though they say
he's on a singles path. He has never once delineated
himself character wise from the New Day. He's still the
big goofball gyrating, making ridiculous faces and being super energetic,
you know, popping inside jokes that were all supposed to
find funny and trying to break the fourth wall that
doesn't do anything except expose the business and his again,

(17:38):
his finisher. I mean, you add all these things up.
He has not yet been that single star that we
want him to be. He's still a part of the
New Day. He's a New Day extension on SmackDown. He
doesn't have his own identity. He is still the effing
New Day and it is. It's the worst thing you
could have done to try to make him a credible

(17:59):
WWE and other than some people feel like he's a
lovable character, the New Day to me fizzled out about
five and a half years ago. I don't understand how
people are still cheering for them. And you know what,
as much as I blame WWE for this, I also
blame the WWE fans. We're cheering for this guy because
they're supporting WWE's decision to do this instead of doing
what they should do and boo the hell out of this.

(18:21):
They won't and they won't. But the fans are also
just as guilty and have just as much blood on
their hands, so to speak, as the ww creative does.

Speaker 3 (18:30):
And you know, it's like you said, Okay, he's still
a gyrating fool. I loved MVPs opening the show, MVP saying, well,
you're out here some long lines of while you were
out here gyrating looking like a fool, Bobby Lashley was
winning world titles and dominating people, and it's just like
he just called you out. And it's like what the
hurt business always does. It tells you the truth. You

(18:51):
might not want to hear it, but it's the truth.
And there's one thing that I noticed going into the
match right before, right before Biggie had stormed the ring
and declared himself ready for the match. Was during the
Randy Orton versus Bobby Lashley match. In all my thirty

(19:12):
five years, I really didn't know that the title just
couldn't change hands on a count out of the ring.
I can't do with the straight face. I'm sorry. I
was just really glad they reminded me it has to
be pinfall or submission.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
You know, I said the same thing. I'm like, I
sat to myself, I'm like, wow, that really clears it up.
You know, it was a bit foggy. The rules weren't clear.
I was thinking, wait a minute, if he gets counted out,
that's the championship, change hands and thank goodness, it's like
they're reading my mind. That is a and you know what,
if they had a triple threat, I need the rules
explained to me at least five or six times before

(19:47):
and after and during the match. Otherwise I want to
understand that the champion can still lose the championship and
not be involved in the decision because it's it's never clear.
So anyway, do you have on this specific topic with
Bobby lash or I'm sorry, I keep saying Bobby Lashley,
Big E defeating Bobby Lashley. Do you have any other

(20:08):
additional thoughts on Big E specifically winning here the WWE Championship.

Speaker 3 (20:15):
Aside from rematch with Lashley, I don't know what to
do with him. This is a character. If he doesn't
break away from the New Day and they don't do
a character a major overhaul and tune up on him,
change his look, get rid of that. You're gonna have
to get rid of the other two in the draft.
You have to because by putting him with them, that
crowd is gonna turn. They're gonna cheer it first, because oh,
they've wanted this for so long. His ringwork is solid,

(20:37):
but it's not stellar. He's strong as hell, but he's
got the weakest looking diamond cutter to the stomach I've
ever seen for a finisher. This man needs such a
character tune up it's unreal, and he's got to dump them.
So does he go heal? Well, that means nothing, as
you could go heal with him turning a double turn
with Bobby Lashley and it could almost work. And I'm

(20:59):
not one forns, but it will work in the fact
that the hurt business always makes good on what they said,
So they make good on the promise that Bobby Lashley
got was hurt when he went into it, so they're
defending a completely justifiable argument. Then Big Ye has to
use the other two numb skulls to retain the title.
I don't want to see an extended program because I'd

(21:19):
rather see the title go back to lastly, because I
think this is going to be a very failed experiment
without the momentum, without the true crowd behind you. There's
only so many Drew mac entire moments where you can
turn somebody from so called upper mid card to main
eventter real fast. Taking out brock Lessner's one when brock
Lessner took out your whole faction in Japan one by

(21:40):
one and gave you all F five's and laid you
out crippled and strone like death, it's kind of hard
to take him as seriously as Drew McIntyre. So my
biggest head scratcher is after, I mean immediately after Extreme Rules,
which they've got a week to try to do something
and pull something out of their backsides because if they don't,

(22:00):
they're screwed. So we're looking obviously to me, looking forward,
it's going to be a rematch. They have no other
way to build a contender like that. But it's the
next program. What do we do well?

Speaker 1 (22:13):
I mean, it's like you said, I smell a rematch
that has to happen at Extreme Rules, which I think
is kind of is a foregone conclusion that we have
Big E retain. I don't think that they would drop
the belt this quickly. I think Big Ee is probably
unfortunately going to hold that for several months because there's
so many people who have been dying to see what
a WWE championship around with Biggie looks like. And you

(22:34):
know what, I was one of them, but not in
this fashion. I was interested in seeing Big Ee number
one in an altered character or an evolved character. I
don't need a complete one, A need turn to the
dark side. You're coming out and just you know, a
black coat and like a tie. I mean, I'm talking
just an evolution of the character. I don't need a
forty year old man out there gyrating and again doing

(22:56):
the same thing. There has been no change for his
character in about six years. So I wanted to see
what a Big E singles run look like, and we
never got it. People could say, oh, he was on
SmackDown is yeah, for like a blink of an eye.
He had a serious promo with Apollo Cruse. That's when
I you know, I was getting hopeful right around WrestleMania,
and then they just turned him right back to silly

(23:17):
garbage and wearing the New Day colors and doing the
clap of like New Day rocks, all that garbage. That
just you need to break yourself with that, bro. You
gotta break yourself of that if you're gonna move. And
you know, I think WW is just I think playing
it safe and doing what brought him to the dance.
But he's they're afraid to do anything with him, I think,
or they just don't know, but regardless, I was excited

(23:39):
to see what a big Ee Championship run looked like,
just the exact opposite in terms of what his character
as champion would be. It's it's to me, the worst
case scenario, and to me, the worst of all is
not even just Biggie, but you have, like you said,
those two just clown heads of Xavier Woods and Kobe Kingston,

(24:01):
who are gonna now be just They'll probably have some
stupid celebration next week and you can see the pancakes flying.
I mean, I could see a raw opening next week
with the New Day celebrating with balloons and you know,
I don't know a magic show and like all this crap,
I can't. I can vision it now. I can see
the Biggie celebration where they're popping champagne and pancakes and

this and that and Bobby Lashley interrupts and somebody gets
a face full of cake or some I mean, I
could see it. I can see it now.

Speaker 3 (24:30):
I'm gonna one up you on Terrible Fantasy Booking. They
are special guests on ms TV, who then attacks them
and demands his shot at extreme rules ladies and gentlemen TV.
Nobody wants to watch, thank you very much.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
Yeah, just change the channel now, right like it's like
pre changing the channels. I can see it now. The
problem is you have Biggie and Xavier who I'm sorry,
a kofe and Xavier who are gonna make this ten
times worse and double down on what makes Biggie in
the New Day the worst ever right now in terms
of unwatchability. But go ahead.

Speaker 3 (25:03):
I was just gonna say that this is when we
talk about character tune ups, and you said you don't
want a one ad. I don't want a one ad either,
but I can tell you a good idea or a
good example of a character tune up. So when Dean
Ambrose leaves WWE, he remerges as John Moxley, his old character.
But John Moxley was known and crashed his own wrestling

(25:24):
as just a psycho lunatic. However, instead he pops up
in New Japan, challenged and successfully won moves at the
US title. But when you looked at him one, he
was in great shape, but he even got better shape two.
Instead of doing the psycho stuff or even the goofy
move set that they had him doing in WWE. He
wrestled New Japan's style. And the other big thing was

(25:46):
he wasn't wearing the street clothes. He was wearing like
quarter length shorts with barbed wire thatched like an image
of thatched barbed wire on one leg. He looked a
little bit different. It wasn't completely different. It's not like,
oh my got his new look. But the fact was
he was in great shape already. He got in better shape.
He actually wrestled and wrestled hard, as opposed to relying

(26:08):
on any kind of furniture or any kind of psycho spot.
He had a little bit in there to remember whose
character was, and he changed his garb. It was a
fresh update to a character who wasn't necessarily stale, but
could have been stale if he showed up as the
same old Dean Ambrose style at the end of his
WWE run in New Japan. That's what Biggie needs, a

(26:32):
little bit tweak on the look. The suspect, if you
have a chest to the size of a barrel, why
are you covering it with a singlet. It's the same
thing I say about like Bobby Lashley's leggings his legs
are the size of people. Show those things off.

Speaker 1 (26:47):
Yeah. I like that analogy a John Moxley because there
is some of Dean Ambrose in there. But it was
a tweak, it was an evolution. It was more him,
more real, And I think that Big E is a
lot like this in real life. Which is why it's
been quote unquote successful, is that he is just kind
of a big goofball and maybe for him being serious,

(27:10):
it doesn't come across naturally, and WW doesn't want to
go down that road at all. You could even argue
that the Undertaker turning from the dead Man to the
American Badass was not even a y to eighty. Why
he had the link of the long trench coat that
linked back to the old Undertaker, and he still did

lot of the facials and a lot of the promo
style in certain terms, certain ways that linked back to
the dead Man. And so I don't even I don't want,
like you said, we don't need a totally knew who
the hell is this Big E. Just there's got to
be an evolution. There is exactly zero evolution when Big
E broke off from the new day and we are

all like, oh cool, We're going to get to see
a big e singles run and finally get to see
what that looks like. And I said, when that happened,
the day that had happened, I said, okay, cool. I'm
okay with him containing and retaining a little bit of
the New Day for a few months, but I need
to see progress every single week. It albeit very small,
every week, baby steps that show me that he's evolving

away from the New Day character. The colors, the clap,
the chance, the facials, the gyrations, the pancakes. I need
all of that eventually gone. And I'm okay with it
slowly moving away, and instead there'd be flashes of it,
and they need revert right back, and then flashes of it.

back to the just nonsensical garbage that we've been dealing

five six years now. And that's the biggest problem I
have with this is his character and the fact they
are using the championship to build him up as a
main eventor to try to define him as a main

and I thought Shana Basler and Naya Jacks were split

apparently last week, costing her Shanna Basler costing nine Jacks.
The championship did not split them up. But on Monday
Night we got we got Naya Jacks doing the same
thing that Shana did last week. After Shana Basler got
in a a big move, she ends up Nijack's standing
on the top rope, distracting the referee, distracting Shanna Basler,

which allowed Charlotte to get the big boot and the
victory over SHANEA. Basler. And then we get Alexibliss coming
out offering a gift to Charlotte Flair, which was just
the Charlotte Flair version of Lily. This is a very
sports entertainment te segment. But I'll be honest, I unbelievably

I didn't hate this. It's not my style, like dolls
and magic stuff is usually not my style or not
my taste. This could have been a lot worse. I'll
say that this could have been a lot worse, and
it wasn't my favorite, but I like Alexa Bliss in
this position with Charlotte. Albeit, I think this is about

five or six months too late because I don't think
they're catching Alexa Bliss at her hottest. I think that
was last year. Unfortunately, even the beginning of this year,
but we do have a new match. People like new.
What did you think of this segment if you you know,
loved it, hate it, something in between.

Well, I gave the whole segment segment as let me
try this again. I gave the segment as a whole
a C plus. I'm gonna tell you why. First of all,
I've been waiting for Charlotte and Basler to really mix
it up in the ring. With the conflict of styles.
I thought this would be a much better match than
it was. But it seemed that the camera work kept

definitely panning towards the entrance way, like did we get
our Q yet? Did we miss our que yet? With
that saying being said, I think the batcha guy's gonna
have a lot of fun with some of the missed
moves we had. Let's talk about that. What was it?
The missing of the big boot into the sloppy elbow.
At least they covered for it as fast as possible.

But when Charlotte went for that boot and then they
both froze, and then Charlotte quickly did the elbow. That's
why she's one of the best, because at least they
could cover for it, and SHANEA was smart enough to
take the move, sell it and try to go from there.
And then the botched back body drop, body slam whatever
that was. That was just I don't know what was
going on in the ring. Maybe they're just not catching
their cues. And what do they always say that the

heel calls it in the ring, we'll do both the heels,
so that could be a little confusing. So the other things.
A low point is right before the commercial break when
we get reminded the queen is raining before the break.

about that whole segment where Charlotte does the cross chop

and Naya does the gag that was uncalled for. It's

just are you trying to be edgy? Because that was
a little forced and it kind of made me like,

going to be something that relates to the character, like directly.

I think that the only time I ever saw the
present gimmick work and it just caught me off surprise,
was in the old days of WCW. Johnny B. Bad
was wrestling Sting and a giant present comes to the ring.
I think it was a clash of champions. Do you
know where I'm going with this?

And so Johnny B. Bad is more enamored with what's
in the box than Sting is, And to our surprise,
they open up the box. At how it comes a

So that was the one time that the present gimmick.
I liked it and it worked. But when they did this,

I was like, Okay, it's going to be a doll
and then you notice it was just a plug for Mattel.

to where she was two and a half three years

Just is it somebody that's in this match and if they,
win they're considered a contender for a future, opportunity which

is extremely. Vague and yet if that's the, case then
why do those contender Matches if you're gonna stick somebody
out of nowhere in a match with no, explanation Like Jeff,
hardy AND i have no problem WITH i Like Jeff
hardy legacy, talent legendary, talent but he's been losing week
after week after week after month after month after. Month
the only victory he's, HAD i think in the last

like you, know eight, months has been against carrying cross
