Speaker 1 (00:02):
Listen is WWE superstar Drew mcintylor, and you're listening to
the WWE podcast show.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
The one that everybody wants me.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
I'm st sixteen, So guys, just work your ass is mind.
Speaker 3 (00:29):
You're going to acknowledge me what is going on?
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Everybody, And welcome to this week's episode of the Main
Event Review slash Crown Jewel Review as well giving that
is a PLI thank you very much for tuning into
this week's episode. And as we all know, Crown Jewel
has finished up here in Perth, and my bias is
probably going to come in with myself being obviously Australian.
(00:57):
But what a crowd and unbelievable atmosphere we brought the
energy there.
Speaker 3 (01:03):
Watching it live made.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
Me super jealous because I would have loved to be
involved in that crowd, in that energy, especially throughout the
whole pl. So, yeah, just a great turnout for us,
and we're proving as to why we should be having
PR's on a regular basis. And you've got to thank
superstars like Bronson, Reed and re Ripley to give us
(01:25):
the opportunity to get PR's here, because they're very much
big faces of the company at the moment and Bronson
reeve proved that, which we'll talk on later. But rear
Ripley for sure is a massive superstar in WWE. So
the more shows they come to Perth, or the more
shows they do in Australia are the more excited I
can be. And hopefully I'll be able to make the
(01:46):
next one without having the Melbourne Marathon, which I did
complete yesterday, And for anyone that ever wants to do
a marathon, make sure you come prepared. I was, but
towards the end I was contempt plating a lot of things.
It's a big mental test. I'm glad I finished it.
It was a good achievement, but I didn't reach the
(02:06):
goal that I wanted to, so I've got to do
it again next year and try to defeat that goal.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
But at the moment I'm just bedriddle with My legs
are sore, but.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
I've managed to get up and just try to record
this episode for you guys, as obviously this took place
in Crown Jewel in the Perth, and also we've got
weekly reviews to do main event as we've been doing
every single week, and I hope you guys have been enjoying.
But before we get into all that, just mentioning and
sort of addressing sort of the elephant in the room.
(02:36):
And this is coming from an Australian, so I'm going
to give my raw bias opinion on this one. I
would not say biased, but just my objective opinion. We'll
will be as objective as I can.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
But essentially, the.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
Thing and the issue that has been going on.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
Is the booing of.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
The American national anthem. Look, I can see why Americans
would be frustrated about it, but what you've got to
understand is that you're in Australia. Like, no one's booing
that I think is booing America because they dislike the
place or they have something specifically against the United States.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
No, that's not the case.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
The reason why the crowd is booing is because you're
in Australia. There's just not necessary to have an American
national anthem sung in front of Australians, Like, there are
no Americans probably watching, and if there are, there are
a small minority or people that have come from WW
(03:41):
itself in the company. So there was no reason to
do the American national anthem. And if this was played,
let's say, hypothetically Australia had a national sports competition where
we competed against America and the national anthem was played,
would probably get booed, but not by every single person,
(04:04):
because obviously there is a respect element. You're playing against
international teams, and especially in soccer, the tradition is that
you sing both national anthems of the competing teams. In
this case, you're in Australia, you're hosting an Australian in
Australian soil. Yes, it's an American event, but at the
end of the day, what do people expect. No one
(04:24):
wants to hear the national anthem, unfortunately in Australia.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
So that's why the booze came about.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
And as per the chance, that's Australia for you, like
if you're someone that lives here, you understand the culture.
Those chance have no malice in them. It's just Australians
being Australian, especially.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
The Oscar Ones.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
And I will say that the fact that Oscar was
getting chance just shows how over she was as a heel.
And what people don't know about Australians if they if
they're teasing you or if they're saying like rude stuff
to you. They're probably because it's probably because they like
you and they're like the work that they're doing. So
for ask her to do what she's doing and still
(05:04):
get the heat, that's what we love. We also saw
it with Bronson Reid. He was our own, but we're
still getting booed because we much prefer Roman reigns and
we understand that Bronson Reid is a heel at the
end of the day and that we want to fuel
him with hell heat. And yeah, there may have been
things that have probably drawn the line for some, but
(05:26):
I don't think there was.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
Any malice in the crowd.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
I think that the crowd was electric, great atmosphere. And
for anyone that's saying that we should never have a
pl because what we didn't sing a national anthem, I'll
tell you to get stuffed. Because it's not just about
the United States. This is a global event. Like I'm
sitting here from Melbourne, Australia talking about the ww and
(05:48):
I do think the United States and the people that
did invent pro wrestling to have this promotion.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
Of course, I'm grateful for that.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
But at the end of the day, it is a
global event. It is called world wrestling entertainment for a reason.
There are wrestling superstars that are all around the globe,
so it's not just about the United States. And quite frankly,
the atmospheres in America or in the United States and
not as big as in the world, because the fact
(06:16):
of the matter is we don't get these prs often
and when we do, we want to make the most event.
People are gone out and spent seventeen thousand dollars and
I've heard on merchandise and equipment like Australian fans really
really love pro wrestling. I have friends that have traveled
from Melbourn to Perth to go watch this event and
I definitely would have been one as well, and I'm
(06:38):
still going to be going Wednesday, which I'm also excited for.
Off topic, but yeah, I think when I hear things
like this shouldn't happen in Australia because of national anthem,
it does frustrate me because I think people just want
to make it about themselves. But that's enough of the complaining.
The event overall was quite solid. It was everything I
sort of expected it to be in terms of a
(06:59):
pr There was a major shock factor when it came
to surprise returns or interferences, which is okay and I
can accept the matches were great, and yeah, we'll continue
to talk about that, but first we will go through
the main event matches. We had Nathan Fraser taking on
Angelo Dawkins. It was the first time in a while
(07:20):
that I've seen one member of the Street Profits fight
in a one on one, so it was cool to
see Angelo Dawkins in a one on one battle with
Nathan Fraser, and Dawkins did get the victory as a
quite short match with a I would say, a pop
up spinebuster.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
It's true that he doesn't really have a.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
Finisher, so they kind of used the blockbuster as their finisher.
So for this case, they went and opted for a
signature move, which is that pop up spinebuster.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
If you want to call it that. It does look
like a pop up action.
Speaker 4 (07:50):
But here is.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
Where I kind of disagree with the booking. And if
you can tell you if you in case you don't
know about the main roster, you can tell that there
is some friction between in the Street Profits at the moment,
it's going to be an opportunity for them to potentially
split or tease that, and that's what they've been doing
the last few weeks on SmackDown, and they've lost their
title match to the Wired.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
Six recently as well.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
So for me to just.
Speaker 3 (08:17):
Give them the reason like the win, he.
Speaker 2 (08:19):
Doesn't make sense, and then just to see them shake
hands if Nathan Fraser after, I know they're both babyfaces.
Speaker 3 (08:25):
I just don't think it was the correct booking. I
think they could have.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Easily played into this to have montese Ford somehow manipulate
the match or find a way to cost Angelo Dawkins,
or there were some tensions between them there. Maybe montes
Ford was overmanaging Dawkins which distracted him and he got
angry and then Nathan Fraser capitalized on that.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
I think the booking could have been better here, and
it could have adhered to the storyline a lot more.
We know that main event is not tailored for storylines,
but when you have a few going on on the
main card, it can be translated into main event. They
did with Austin Theory and Gresham Oler a few times
as well, and no one really needs to know about
It doesn't need to be a groundbreaking moment where they
(09:08):
turn on each other there, but there could have been
some inklings of that in this match, but that didn't happen.
They get the victory and all looks good for the
street profits. And as for Fracium, I think I say
it again, I think they gotta go to Raw. I
think it's time that they make a move to Raw
and push Finn Bala and Jada McDonald on that side.
Speaker 3 (09:29):
I think that will make the most sense.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
It does look as though that aj Styles and Dragonly
will be competing for those titles, so maybe they'll win
it off the judgment day.
Speaker 3 (09:39):
But I think Fraction need to change.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
They're not getting near SmackDown and looking if you saw
the latest episode of SmackDown, MFTs are getting involved the
White Six. They don't look near it in terms of
the titles. So they're going to keep either being on
main event or they need to.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
Just yeah, go to Raw. It's just simple as that.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
We don't have the second match, and it was the
war Raiders taking on the Americanos. So it's good to
see the Americanos.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
Make their debut on main event.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
We've always seen Pete Dunn and Tyler Bait, but they
come up as part of the Americanos and the way
this match ended was basically Grande Americano who was their
ringside past the medal Still, I would say a little
piece of metal too.
Speaker 3 (10:25):
I think it was Tyler Bay. I think his name
is Primo or one of them.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
I can't I can't recall the names of both of them,
Rio and Primo or something. But yeah, they they get
the victory by using the steel to head butt Eiva
and get the victory, so that one makes a lot
more sense. Obviously, the Americanos are new to the to
the fold now, so obviously they have now three Americanos.
(10:51):
I'm not sure where they're going with this, but giving
them momentum is important because I assume that they are
going to get some airtime on Raw.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
So yeah, they get.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
The victory there. The war Raiders continue to not really
do much, and yeah, their time as competing for tag
teams is going to be out a halt for a
long time. I think because they've been in an unfortunate
situation where there were one of only few tag teams
on Monday Night Rule and just over using them to
battle for titles gets quite boring, and I think that's
(11:21):
what's happening with them at the moment, but that pretty
much wraps up main event, so we'll move on straight
to Crown Dule. I've given you my initial thoughts and
reactions to it was a solid pl and yeah, it's
great to have it in Perth, like just cool that
they did it, and I'm glad that they brought the
Crown Jewel titles.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
There wasn't just exclusive to Saudi Arabia, so that was
also a plus.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
We opened the first match with the Australian street fight
between Bronson Reid and Roman Reigns and before we go
through everything, just being a nitpicker at the moment, obviously
the Australian street fight means that there's going to be
Australian props involved. We had the cricket bat which was correct,
but then Michael call Cole call like me going to
(12:06):
complain about mispronouncers, and then I say that Michael Cole
says that Bronson Reid is holding up.
Speaker 3 (12:12):
A rugby ball.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
It's not a rugby ball, ladies and gentlemen. It is
an Australian rules footy. It's a football, but for the
Australian game that is exclusively held in our country as well.
So if we ever decide to play in the United States,
we'll make sure that we have the Australian national anthem before.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
Just to make you guys feel better. That was just
a subtle joke. But anyways, it's a footy. It's an
Australian rules footy.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
That's what Roman Reins brought out of the trash can
and obviously he used that to throw out Paul Hayman,
which I missed him to hit the rope, but it
would have been funny if it did hit him. And
then you also had Roman Reins using the cricket bat,
and to be honest, for someone that's played cricket, it
was a pretty good technique for a cricket hit. So
all respect to Roman remains hitting Bronson Reed like proper
(13:00):
cricket bat. And that was pretty much all the props
they had for the Australian street fight. The rest was
obviously traditional street fires. You had the kendo stick, you
had the tables, and the way the match finished was
we obviously had bron Breaker come and you knew when
Roman Rains was setting up for that apron spear, bron
Breaker was gonna come out of their way and spear them.
(13:21):
And that's exactly what happened. They did the shield power bomb,
and that's when the USOS came out, which was no
surprise to anyone as well. They came out and tried
to help Roman Reigns win the match, which they did
pretty good effort to do. They had some nice hip
attacks and a lot of superkicks, which these usos are
(13:44):
famous for. But the most important and vital part of
the match was when Jay Usso speared Roman Reigns through
the table, which then bron Breaker speared ja Uso straight after,
and that's what led to Bronze and Read hitting the
tsunami on Roman Reigns and getting the victory. And it's
(14:05):
the first time or he's one of three people in
ten years to pin Roman Reigns in a one on
one match. The last person that did it was Cody
Rhodes and before that, funny enough, it was Baron Corbyn,
which doesn't sound an exclusive list, but three people in
ten years in a one on one match against Roman
Reigns is quite crazy. And that's for sure most certainly
(14:27):
a statement to just say that Bronson Reid is very
much a vital figure in WWE, and this borderline good
if not equal with bron Breaker based on this, and
this elevates Bronson Reid big time. I didn't put a
prediction for this match because it got announced the day after,
(14:47):
but yeah, Bronson Reid gets the victory against Roman Reigns
and it's massive. Like for Bronson Reid's career, it's biggest
win by far, and it will be one of the
biggest wins he's ever had in his career. I'm just
interested to see how he goes on from here and
what will happen because this is the start of something
big for him and if WW get it right, could
(15:08):
be something that's generational.
Speaker 3 (15:10):
So yeah, he gets to win here.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
But the real issues is obviously after the ring, where
Roman Reins basically told the you so is that people
don't think he can win on his own, that there's
only one way that this works, insinuating that he has
to be the leader and the Headhuncho, and he basically
said he loves them both but doesn't want to see
them till Christmas. That's when jay Uso started getting angry
(15:33):
and saying it's always about him and it's always his
own way, which I found quite interesting because leading up
to this moment, Before this, it was jay Uso that
was just feeling very encouraged and influenced by Roman Reigns.
Hence all the decisions he was doing, and all the
happiness and not happiness, and all the hype ups and
the way he was acting, and it was influenced by
(15:55):
Roman Rens, and you would think that he would agree
with him. But then after that it kind of just
back like it's very contradictory to what he felt before
and after this. So again, this is another thing where
I don't know where WW is going with this. I
thought that they were wanted to lean Jauso to be
more like Roman Reigns. That's sort of what was insinuated.
(16:15):
But after this spot, which I think they had to
do it like this so they can make Bronson Reid
get the win in a way where it wasn't fully clean.
It doesn't diminish Roman, but now it just changes the
whole thing and it comes to a point where we've
seen this before where Juso is not happy with Roman
Reins and now there's going to be issues within the
bloodline and Jimmy Uso is becoming the mediator again. It's
(16:37):
just very rinse and repeat.
Speaker 3 (16:38):
Vibes and.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
Everyone does get excited when the bloodline comes together and
we have this sort of storyline, but like, can they
be a bit more different, Like they were almost being
different with jay Uso becoming more like Roman Reins, and
now it feels like they've scrapped that off. So yeah,
I don't know what's going on. Jusho has gone.
Speaker 3 (16:56):
Through it right now as a character.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
This year has been would say started very well for him,
on top of the world, and now it's just I
think it's coming downhill to the point where they are
trying to do a He'll Turn. But can you really
give jay us a hill turn with that theme music
and the Yeat movement?
Speaker 3 (17:13):
I don't think so. So just keep tabs on this one.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
It's going to be interesting, but hopefully it's not too
repetitive where I feel like it will be. So I'm
just worried for that. Yeah, but that pretty much concludes
that first match, and then we had the second match
between stephanieva Ker and Tiffany Stratton. This one was very
hard to predict. I got this one wrong. I did
think that Tiffany was going to win, given that she
(17:38):
had the undefeated record and howd the championship for so long?
But stephaniev Ker gets the victory if the corkscrew. Very
nice move and it's cool to see that being her
finisher as of late. She's obviously got the SVB as well.
But this finishes so nice and so satisfying, and she
didn't catch all of it but still looked really good
(17:58):
in the end. Nevertheless, and it was the shortest match
of the whole ple didn't go a long at all,
so not really sure why that was the case, but
they didn't really get much programming time. I mean in
terms of the storyline and the hype between this match.
It really was just a champion first champion, like friendly
exhibition fight, like there was no real substance to it.
(18:19):
So it makes sense as to why that would be
the case. If any match was to go shorter, it
would be this one. But yeah, Stephanie Vecer gets the victory,
and that pretty much encapsulates her whole run this year.
She's been simply incredible, and I think for her to
just arrive on the WWE scene, it makes sense as
to why they've given her the victory. Another reason would
(18:40):
be because she's probably the better performer than Tiffany Stratton,
and although she hasn't been here as long as Tiffany,
she is a lot older than her as well, so
Tiffany still has a bright future ahead. But yeah, there
isn't really going to be too much after this one.
Stephanie gets the victory. Good on her again, I wouldn't
have been surprised for it, and I don't think it's
the wrong booking either, So yeah, she takes the victory there.
(19:04):
We then get the match of the night in my opinion,
and if you looked at the crowd going back to
the crowd again, it looked like a Golden State Warriors
or Indiana Pacers playoff match with all the yellow shirts
in the crowd.
Speaker 3 (19:20):
Unbelievable.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
I'm hoping to get one on Wednesday when I go.
I need to get my hands on that shirt. But
talk about an atmosphere that was incredible and the pops.
When John Cena came out, he obviously took on AJ styles,
but yeah, it was just incredible. The match basically started
with obviously Alicia Taylor announcing John Cena with his final
(19:44):
year announcement calling him the great.
Speaker 3 (19:46):
Of all time.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
But then John Cena handed out a note to Alisha
Taylor and announced AJ Styles, which caught AJ Styles by
surprise as well. We could tell that he was genuinely
surprised by that, which was which was great for him
and just awesome to see. And yeah, they had the match.
This was voted by fans. Everyone wanted to see this,
(20:09):
so this was just a feel good, nostalgic match, which
was great. We had a bunch a bunch of finishers,
the most notably I will get to but you had
the Walls to Jericho or Walls of Jericho. Everyone got
crazy for that one. There you had the skull crushing finale,
(20:29):
You had the accolade, which was which was quite cool
seeing that, and then we had the r KO which
we finally got, which was so cool. But then to
make things better, John Cena lined up for a punt, which,
like you.
Speaker 3 (20:45):
Trying to be I'm not trying to complain too much.
Speaker 2 (20:46):
Obviously that punt wasn't going to hit, but the punt
was there to brutalize your teammate as your opponent, and
like he really was going to try to do that.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
That ages That was quite.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
Funny, but it was great that that was included in there.
But to me the most I think captivating thing and
the most emotional was seeing the Sister Abigail and this
and again the fans, like Australian fans, so smart to
just bring out the flashlights once the.
Speaker 3 (21:14):
Sister Abigail was hit, and it was hit really well,
and everyone was changing.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
He's got the whole world in his hand, and you
could see John Cena smiling looking up to the sky
and that was just such a good moment and that's
going to be a moment that will be forever remembered.
In this match, just an iconic smart like they understood
the assignment. It was just simply perfect. Like, yeah, I
love Brawy, I've I was a massive fan of Brewire
(21:40):
going up. He was one of my favorite characters, just
his creativity.
Speaker 3 (21:44):
And his mind.
Speaker 2 (21:45):
And yeah, it was really sad to see him pass
away because it was one of my favorites. I'm not
gonna lie seriously in that era, like just the stuff
he did and how Vince McMahon ruined his booking was
actually gen only one of the reasons why I stopped
watching WW for a bit because I was so upset
(22:05):
with how they they treated him in that match and
what they did with the fiend.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
It was just extremely.
Speaker 2 (22:09):
Terrible, but again that's another story. The match continues on.
You have AJ Styles hitting a few phenomenal forums, hitting
an attitude adjustment, and the match basically ended after all
these different finisher spots. And before I get to the ending,
I will not forget the six to one nine chance
(22:30):
that the fans had, and it will credit to AJ
Styles and John Cenna to understand the moment and improvise
and add that into the into the match, and the
way it was choreographed was perfect, and they did that
on the fly. You had John Cena set up AJ
Styles for the six one nine and the crowd went crazy,
like obviously we'll never see John Cena hit a sixty
(22:52):
one nine. That's athletically difficult, and I think it just
looked weird for such a big, stoppy bloke like him,
but it hyped the crowd up. And as he lined up,
Ah Styles came and done a close line and everyone booed,
which was quite funny. That was another great, great moment.
We also had, obviously John Cenna performing the Styles clash
as well, and credit to John Cena to be able
(23:14):
to perform all these finishing moves safely and just shows
how good this guy truly is in the ring. A
lot of people do criticize his in ring ability, but
I think he proved that he is excellent in ring.
Speaker 3 (23:26):
But yes, the way the.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
Match ended was with a tombstone pile driver and then
followed up by an attitude adjustment.
Speaker 3 (23:35):
A great way to end it.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
The only one thing I wish I would have saw
in this match one finisher that I was hoping for
would have been the Daniel Bryan's running knee if they
were able to do that.
Speaker 3 (23:45):
And obviously executed safely.
Speaker 2 (23:47):
But other than that, it was a great nostalgic performance,
a bunch of finishers, which is what you want to see,
and exactly how I would envision like a retirement tour
match when John Cena first.
Speaker 3 (24:01):
Announced his retirement. This is what I was.
Speaker 2 (24:04):
Expecting, matches like this, going up against old rivals, blasts
from the past, and look how good aj Styles was.
He brought up his throwback year back in the days
of TNA, and people forget how incredible aj Styles is
in the ring, Like he's probably one of the best
in ring wrestlers of all time, and he's going to
(24:24):
retire next year too, So this was a match to
sort of appreciate him as well.
Speaker 3 (24:28):
And yeah, just a spectacle in.
Speaker 2 (24:31):
My opinion, like perfectly executed everything you wanted and everything
you expected in a John Cena aj styles match. So
I was really happy with with this, and yeah, the
fans made it a lot better too in my opinion
as well. We then had the women's tag team match.
We had the Kabuki Warriors taking on Rio so Sky
(24:54):
and Rear Ripley that had face painted names on their
on their faces. Rea Ripley came out to a large raw,
which is expected Australian own. We're going to support Ria,
She's been unbelievable in her time in WWE, and they
got the victory, which was easily predicted. There is no
(25:15):
way that they would send re Ripley to Australia and
make her lose, like the crowd would have gone off.
But yeah, Real Ripley gets the victory with Eskuy. It
finished with Kyrie saying taking a bullet for Oscar as
Rea Ripley was running at her and that led toa
(25:37):
rip tiding Kyrie saying and then setting up er Skuy
for the Moon Soul and they get the victory here.
Speaker 3 (25:43):
So obviously Kyrie's.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
Saying takes the pinfall, so to me, that means that
this is far from over. We are going to get
a potential Ear Skuy versus Oscar match. But I do
genuinely think that this will lead up to something for
Survivor Series, like this is the only real store going
at the moment when it comes to tag teams. The
only thing that could get involved in this, and I
(26:05):
mentioned this a few weeks back, is the aj Lee
Becky Lynch sort of feud and Becky Lynch basically fighting
with half the women's locker room. They just got to
find a way to put it all together. But I
think that's what's going to happen next. Maybe there'll be
another main event match between these guys, maybe Aska and
Real will take on or maybe EO and ask her again.
But I think Survivor Series is what's going to be
(26:26):
happening in wargames, and I think this sort of sets
up one part of it, so look out for that.
But overall, the match was really good. Everyone in the
ring performed really well, and I was actually really impressed
with Kyrie saying I think she held her own in
this match. She's a great in ring performer, and I
think she was very aggressive and good when she needed
(26:47):
to be.
Speaker 3 (26:48):
So that was good to see.
Speaker 2 (26:50):
And if you didn't look at the storylineer promo, and
if you just looked at the wrestler, you could tell
that Kyrie saying did belong. It's just unfortunate that she
has seen she is a puppet to Aska. And then
we finish off with the main event, and this had
massive ramifications for Seth Rolins. Obviously all teased the blood lines,
(27:10):
not the blood line, the visions frictions at the moment
where obviously Seth Rowlins didn't come into the ring into
the arena with them and walked out on the live show.
And also obviously Paul Hayman, Tulling, bron Break and Bronson
Reid not to interfere with the match, and this led
up to showing how important Seth Rolans it was for
(27:32):
Seth Rolins to win this match, and all these signs
led to the obvious prediction that he was going to win,
and it was just how he was going to do.
Speaker 3 (27:40):
What was the question?
Speaker 2 (27:41):
Was there going to be a random outside interference because
we all knew that that Cody Rhodes wasn't going to
lose this match cleanly, so it was just finding and
figuring out how Seth Rowlins was going to win the match.
And the way he won the match was using Cody
Rhodes's watch that was gifted to him after WrestleMania forty
punched him We're in the head with it, and then
(28:01):
that led to a super stump to get the victory there.
I really like the super crossroads off the top, to
be honest, like for a move that is seen as
pretty weak by some, that crossroads looked pretty decent, I
would say. But overall a textbook performance from these two.
You know what you're going to get when these two
are in the ring.
Speaker 3 (28:22):
They feel like.
Speaker 2 (28:23):
They're going to have a very long rivalry for so
many years. I feel like this program is not going
to be done yet, maybe for this feud, but definitely
they're going to be fighting in the future against each other,
that's for certain. But yeah, it was a great match,
and yeah Seth Rollins wins the Crown Duel Championship, which
is expected and it's something that was good for the storyline.
(28:47):
I think Seth Rowles really needed this and the vision
are looking stronger than ever and that's what we want.
We didn't want to see the Vision break up after
six months. I think that would have been really disappointing.
So they've done a good decision to keep the Vision
going and make Seth Rolands on top of the World
and Bronson red and we're going to see what they
say tomorrow on RAW. I think that's going to be
(29:07):
exciting tonight for me because it's one more show in
Australian Perth that I'm not going to be going to again.
Still jealous, but yeah, that pretty much wraps up Crown Jewel.
But you've listened to another main event review followed by
Crown Jewel and yeah, thank you very much for listening
(29:28):
and I'll catch you guys next week.
