Uh, what I first do, let's goahead and zone in on that.
So season nine not gonna liewith these filler arcs and it's
funny, mirajan, you should havebeen on for the other two parts.
Well, just specifically thefirst part, where talos was

talking about how oh thesefillers are are way better than
the filler arts in naruto, andI'm like or at least he was
saying like um, they're way moreserious than the filler arcs in
Naruto, and I was like, ah,actually re-watching this show,

it's goofier than I remember.
Like you would think, even inthe series arcs, like with the
Ronkar arc and whatnot, youwould think it's just all gas,
no brakes, but nah, they getgoofy in the middle of the
fights.
And also they have these fillerepisodes where I'm like, hold
the fuck on, like it's one thingwith the filler arcs, but like

at the end of the seasons theyhave like this two-part filler
episode when it's like tacked onat the end to kind of be like,
okay, gonna take a break and dolike some random bullshit.
And I'm like, bro, I just justfeel a little jarred because I'm
sitting here looking at thisepisode, thinking or he may

should be um captured by theiran car, like um being watched
over by ukiyora, and then nextthing you know, here she is back
in school like nothing happenedand I'm like what the fuck?
And like they're like okay,yeah, go ahead and go to school
for like two days and then comeback bro, I'm not gonna lie to

So first time I startedwatching bleach.
This is the only time I'm goingto refer to, like the past
seasons.
I first started watching bleachright, and I hadn't known.

I knew about bleach, but Icouldn't get into it until like
the summer, and so I startedbinging it and I made it to a
goddamn filler arc.
I did not know it was a fillerarc yeah, I can do a lot of.

remember exactly which fillerarc it was, but I think it was
the bout arc oh, you mean thesoul suckers, the stand users

they defeat Aizen already?

And I'm gonna be saying that inthe season 11 because I'm like,

bro, like, okay, it's the factthat uh urahara, he developed
the giga, a special, differentkind of giga, and essentially
developed the hokyoku and allthat, like he didn't really mean
for it to be for nefariouspurposes.
But I then was like I'm gonnalook over your career with great
interest and be like, all right, I'm gonna just copy your nose

and try to make, um, uh,replicate the whole holification
process so I can make the irancar and uh, uh, it's bought and
all that.
You know, all part of the grandmaster plan.
And, by the way, I'm gonna, um,make sure that you get blamed

But the fact of the matter isthat with uh Aizen, like he

straight up not only kneweverything but planned for
everything, and even up untillike the part where, okay, they
arrive into the fake Karakuratown.
Uh, the rest of the uh squadcaptains pull up ready for him.
And then he was like I knewy'all would do something like
this.

I could not wait for him to die.
I was praying on his downfall.

But the thing is he is not onlyfairly strong, you know, strong
enough to be a captain, but thefact that he's smart enough to
play 40 sets with just abouteverybody, like it was just

My first time around this wasback when Bleach was brand new
to the States, like brand new,like we just heard of Bleach by
then and I was trying to keep upwith the plot when it was like
on TV.
But yeah, I got lost.
Sometimes too, I wonder whatthe fuck is going on.
But I am so glad we're in theage of streaming services where

I could just binge the wholeshit if I wanted to.
And now that I'm piecingtogether the plot more, I'm like
the story is fairly good.
I just hate that with thesefiller arcs and these filler
episodes it kind of distractsitself.
Like it's kind of hard to kindof stay focused on what the main

plot is when they kind of dothese side tangents.
But hey, to be fair, I don'tblame them for having to
shoehorn in that one, um, youknow, with all the girls with
the bathing suits and whatnot, Ibet you don't.

well, he was developing, likeworking on it, but like he
wasn't trying to make the visorsinto the visors, like that was
aizen's doing.

And then yorichi the onlyreason why she got exiled was
just to defend her friend, uhurahara so they were like living

in the world of living for ahundred years.
So I'm like it's not that it'snot impossible yeah, it's not

know what her full scope is.

Uh, ichigo is thrown into the plot where, okay, this
uh royal advisor guy is tryingto abduct the princess for
various purposes.
There's a new weapon called thebakuto that's supposed to
counter the zanpato.
Uh, new captain thought thathead captain murdered his father
, but naturally, uh, his fatherwas possessed by the bakuto and

it's all a misunderstanding.
Uh, he realized oh shit, Ifucked up.
I'm a misunderstood situation.

really advance the plot per se,maybe like it gives little
callbacks in the filler episodes, like later on, or maybe like

mentions in the main episodes,but even then it's like and it
doesn't really move the plotthat much outside from okay, it
was something for them to dountil you know the anime, um,
get enough distance away fromthe manga, because sometimes it
be like that when anime andmanga is too close together.
That's why, with One Piece,sometimes the manga gotta take

on hiatus but the anime stillgoing.
Meanwhile, the anime might goon hiatus but the manga still
going.
You gotta have that gap so thatway more episodes can be
produced.
You don't want to be like Gameof Thrones, where you're like
you're just making shit up atthe last minute because oh, oh,
shit, no more books, we gottahave to make shit up, and then
look what happened with the lastseason.
So, give them space, give themtime.

With these filler episodesspecifically, I'm like the way
you placed them, though I wouldunderstand if it was a clean

But then like volanica too, Iwas like, oh man, this guy, uh,
some kind of style to it.
You know, that's what I likeabout bleach is like say
whatever you will, but wedefinitely have an aesthetic or
styles like it's definitelyunique in its own ways, like the
characters have drift, uh,character design like um, the

facial features and whatnotdefinitely have some attention
to detail, very visuallyappealing and whatnot.
I just kind of wish the fightswere I don't know.
I wish some of the fights werelike a little bit more fluid,
like more action packed.
You know like kind of the fight,you know like with the sword
swinging, whatnot, kind of likeyou can feel the weight of the

attack to whatnot.
Like you know, it kind ofreminds me of all hitman reborn
all over again to where, likeit's a really good anime.
But if the fight scene reallyfelt more like fight scenes,
then people would love that more, like see, that's what?
Demon slayer as much.
I kind of hate to say because Istill like demon slayer but

it's still shiny keys the animeto me at least with demon slayer
though, it's so visuallyappealing it's like even if you
say that the story is midvisually with the fights.
It's like it had you locked in.
You actually want to see howthings played out.
So that's why, with bleach andhitman reborn, I feel like if

the fights had a little moretension going on, if it didn't
feel more telegraphed in a way,then yeah, they do leave a lot
of room like it's like they'reletting the fight breathe, but
we don't need the fight tobreathe and at the same
time.
It's one thing when naruto doesit in his own show, but half

the time it feels like thesecharacters are doing a whole lot
of talkutsu in middle fight.
So I'm like I kind of want tosee somebody like just standing
on business, none of that Talk,no Jutsu.
Just you know, just straightsword swinging, like either

to cut it out with all this blah, blah, blah every episode
before you actually like do acouple of swings and misses and
you wanna show off your bankaiand shit.

First of all, can we talk about how Kenpachi just
never.
He never pulls out his bankaibecause he doesn't even know his
bankai from his whole entireseason, the whole entirety of
Bleach.
Kenpachi is just strong withtwo hands.

Yeah, that's kind of the thing that I like about him
is where the fact that he's sostrong that he doesn't need a
Bankai that just makes him moreinteresting, especially the fact
that with his eye patch, likethe thing is, it's not that he
even lost an eye, it's more likeit's a seal to uh keep his
spiritual pressure in check.
Because once he moves that eyepatch, you see that um yellow

beast type aura showing up andthat's when you tell he's
getting real serious, like heusually don't get that serious
since he fought Ichigo.
That's why he kind of has thatmetaphorical boner for Ichigo.

But if the fight scene reallyfelt more like fight scenes,

Demon slayer as much.

of talkutsu in middle fight.

is where the fact that he's sostrong that he doesn't need a
Bankai that just makes him moreinteresting, especially the fact
that with his eye patch, likethe thing is, it's not that he
even lost an eye, it's more likeit's a seal to uh keep his
spiritual pressure in check.
Because once he moves that eyepatch, you see that um yellow

beast type aura showing up andthat's when you tell he's
getting real serious, like heusually don't get that serious
since he fought Ichigo.
That's why he kind of has thatmetaphorical boner for Ichigo.

start until like season 14.
